Do yourself a favor and stay the fuck away from all DU apps. They're every bit as aggressively spammy as Cheetah Mobile, making loads of useless apps and bloating them with TOTALLY unnecessary permissions to mine user data (not to mention NEVER implementing runtime permissions).
You were right to be sketched out. Go with that instinct. There are SO many other screen recorders out there, and while many try similar spammy tricks, there are plenty of them that don't.
For example:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.byterevapps.lollipopscreenrecorder
I'm using the native screen recorder on my Huawei P30 Pro. I will recommend this app as I've used it in the past. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.byterevapps.lollipopscreenrecorder
Well since you asked so nicely...
ADV Screen Recorder is a safe bet. Honestly it's been so many years since the last time I used or had a Screen Recorder app installed on any of my devices I straight up couldn't recall which ones I once knew to be good/safe.
I do know the bad ones, however, and trust me when I say you'll be much better off avoiding ALL DU apps in the future. To be perfectly frank, they're so notoriously bad with data mining and abusive permissions that I was shocked you were using one.
Familiar with Cheetah Mobile? Yeah, they're on that kind of spammy level.
As far as recording a video with Twilight still on, I would think you'd want people to view your post easily instead of having to strain their eyes.
Additionally, blue light filter apps (without root) are questionable at best in terms of their actual usefulness (my uncle's an eye doctor and expresses the same amount of skepticism) and they all come bundled with some very exploitable permissions, potentially making them just risky apps with no reward... but they're really nothing but an eye sore if being viewed on a pre recorded video.
Ok, rant over. Take my advice or totally disregard it, but the truth is I'm only suggesting things that are in your best interest.
A while back i used app called ADV Screen Recorder.
As far as i remember it worked perfectly. Had to tweak a bit quality of recording and sometimes resolution settings gets messed up as i used it on the phone outside screen, inner screen (i use Fold3) and DeX. so resolution jumps between 3 different settings. as overall app worked fine.
I don’t have in-built recording on my ancient Android, so I’m using this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.byterevapps.lollipopscreenrecorder
It appeals to me because it doesn’t need root.
the videos were recorded using different apps, the second one was recorded using ADV screen recorder
Anyway i dont have the first one, the second's original file it's here
btw i've noticed that if i open the ifr using mobile chrome there is no issues
Use this app to record the screen, don't forget to enable "Record audio (MIC)" in the app setting. btw how did you grow and level up so fast? any tips and trick?, the game just recently available on android for about a week.
You can use ADV Screen recorder if you are running lollipop in your device. It works only on Lollipop versions.
It has lot of features like 3 second count down before recording. Draw on screen while recording or record your own voice, Picture in Picture for showing your face on the video while recording and you can also move that picture to anywhere on the screen. You can use rear camera to record events happening while recording.
It works like a charm without needing to root your phone and voiding the warranty :)
Here is my personal list of must-have apps. Apps marked with [~~P~~] are not available on the Play Store.
ADV Screen Recorder: A screen recorder without root. You can start your recording wherever you want and scribble on your screen or mark important parts while recording.
[Sony] Audio Recorder: Pretty self-explanatory. It has Material design, no ads, and it lets you choose whether you want your recordings to be picked up by media scanners (e. g. music players).
[Google] Authenticator: It's the same thing, but for your Google account. There are no convenient login prompts in the app itself, though. You can instead configure that feature in the Account Settings on the Google website. Don't forget that login prompts need a data connection to work, while the code generator doesn't.
Chrooma Keyboard: The Google Keyboard, but better. Its main feature is its theming; the keyboard's color adapts the app you're typing in. You also get different color schemes (flat, gradient and stuff), gestures for cursor movement, text selection and one-handed mode, a night mode, and multilingual typing.
Clipboard Actions: A persistent notification which contains the current content of your clipboard (i. e. what you just copied) and offers shortcuts to actions based on what is in the clipboard. You can open or shorten links, call phone numbers, show locations on a map, translate text, send things to email addresses and more.
[~~P~~] Clover: It's an app for browsing 4chan. If you don't know ~~who the hacker 4chan~~ what 4chan is, you probably don't want to know.
Compass: Also pretty self-explanatory. It has material design, and you can have an animated compass right in your notification bar.
CrookCatcher: Enter the wrong code 3 times, and this app takes a selfie, finds your phone's location, and sends an email to you with all this. Oh, and it also has material design, which is always a plus for me.
[Android] Device Manager: Get this app and set it up. If your Android phone ever gets stolen, this website lets you locate and wipe your device.
[Google] Drive: Manage your Google Drive cloud storage on your phone. You can move things inside your drive with drag and drop, generate links for files so others can view them, and just about anything you can already do on the PC.
[~~P~~] F-Droid: An alternative app store filled with FOSS (Free Open Source Software). That's where you can get apps like Clover from.
Flip: A currency converter with material design, which can also show the exchange rate history for any conversion.
Flyperlink: A bubble based browser (think Facebook chatheads for websites). You can view your bubble browsing history, configure the bubbles' appearance, enable ad-block, and more.
Focus: A gallery app with a fingerprint(or code)-protected vault and custom tags for your pictures.
Genius: Look up lyrics for almost any song or view the lyrics of what's currently playing on your phone. Features an optional notification that appears whenever you play a song.
Inbox [by Gmail]: Gmail, but better. Your emails are organized in different categories (or bundles, as Inbox calls them). You can snooze emails so you are notified of them again at a later date, and you can set notifications per bundle (I want to be notified of work emails, but I don't care about emails from social media like Facebook). Unlike Gmail, it only works with a Google account.
[Google] Keep: Google's note taking app. Make notes or checklists, add hashtags so you can find one or multiple specific notes easily, add pictures and draw on them, set up a reminder for a note so you are notified of it later, and more.
Linguee: A dictionary app with offline mode, pronunciations and example sentences.
MobiGo Scan: A minimalistic, material designed QR code scanner. It works.
Nova Launcher: A highly customizable replacement for your home screen. Apply icon packs, set gestures and tinker with the app drawer. The free version is very limited in customization, the full functiality is unlocked by purchasing Nova Launcher Prime.
One Calculator: Scientific calculator, Converter, Grapher and Matrix calculator in one app. It has a really nice design and keeps track of your calculations.
PinTasking: Once again, think Facebook chatheads, but this time with whole apps. Enhances your multitasking and gives you a neat gesture on top. Swipe down from the notification bar to pin the current app or switch to the last app. The free version is limited in functionality, the full app is unlocked via in-app-purchase.
Pushbullet: Pushbullet lets you send text or files from one of your devices to another. You can also mirror Android notifications on the PC, access the other devices' storages and subscribe to Pushbullet channels, which are comparable to RSS channels. Connect devices to Pushbullet by downloading the app on Android devices and the Pushbullet Chrome/Firefox extension to PCs.
[Chrome] Remote Desktop: Install the app on your phone and the respective Chrome extension on your PC and you can control your PC with your phone via screen mirroring.
SD Maid: This app is one of the very few legitimate cleaner apps, stay away from the likes of Clean Master or DU Booster and resort to this handy tool. It scans and deletes junk files, leftovers from uninstalled apps, duplicates and more. Also lets you extract app files from apps and see what large files are taking up your storage space.
Slide [for Reddit]: One of many Reddit clients, but my personal favorite. Its main perks are swipe-based navigation and its massive customization. Themes per subreddit, multi-window, app data backup and many more detailed settings for appearance and functionality.
Snapseed: Google's image editing app. Features all the important tools and filters in a nicely designed package.
Solid Explorer: A file manager that is worth its price. Well executed material design, split screen, ZIP archive and extract, linking to cloud services, root explorer, batch rename and more. Also lets you set up an FTP server on your phone for quick data transfer over Wi-Fi via a plugin.
Stitch & Share: An app for stitching screenshots together (e. g. of a chat) to a really long one. Also packs a basic editor for marking or censoring things. You can share the long screenshot itself or a link to it.
Swipe [for Facebook]: The Facebook app, but better. The official FB app is known to be very demanding on CPU power, storage and battery. This app is a relatively lightweight alternative. You can use it just like the official app, it's even able to deliver FB notifications. Additional themes and nonessential features are unlocked in a pro version.
Unified Remote: A remote for your PC. Features remotes for mouse and keyboard navigation, but also for specific programs. The free version is noticeably limited in functionality.
[~~P~~] Videoder Video Downloader: A material designed and easy-to-use, but rather basic YouTube video downloader. You can also download multiple videos at once.
VLC: A material designed open source video player. Features swipe controls for sound, brightness and fast-forward/reverse when playing a video. You can also choose to only play the sound part of a video.
Weather Timeline: A beautifully designed, card-based and customizable weather app, which comes with an optional persistent notification for the upcoming weather.

Your phone should have native screen recording already. If not, I really recommend this app. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.byterevapps.lollipopscreenrecorder
ADV Screen Recorder is, imo, the best one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.blogspot.byterevapps.lollipopscreenrecorder
