Bloomberg caters mostly to a finance-savvy crowd, who is largely pro-drug and can appreciate the economic benefits a legalized drug market can bring. Recently, Bloomberg terminals recognized the Bitcoin ticker, which is a huge deal as thousands of financial sector employees use those to track the market every day:

Powerful people are on our side now, not just some armchair Internet activists. If some of the most rich and influential people in America can get behind this, change is inevitable.
You need to import their key into a PGP program like GPG4Win and then encrypt your street address with their public key.
(When you install it, make sure that you check mark GPA for installation as well. It's not installed by default and I think it's the easiest one for new users. Also check mark all of the shortcut creation so that you end up with an icon for it on your desktop.)
Here's a guide that someone else wrote on PGP that looks good:

You don't need to use a proxy or VPN in addition to Tor unless Tor is illegal in your country.
If you want extra security, you should look into using the Tails operating system.
Also, make sure to always encrypt any personally identifying information that you send to a vendor.
If you're involved in something serious you need to have a VPN that you TRUST to protect you alongside tor, and mask your traffic so you don't have tons of tor traffic coming in and out of your house. HideMyAss is a generic, consumerist, US-based business and cannot be trusted.
They can be found on the clearnet, some people over in /r/opiates might be able to help you out
Edit: just remembered there's no sourcing over there so I did a little digging on the clearnet and found this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/175242394/12-lb-dried-poppy-pods-2-3-day-usps?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listing_promoted&utm_campaign=plants_and_edibles_mid&gclid=CPfz4LjKs70CFSsQ7AodhTMAIg
> You should probably research before you go talking "2 of 3 Arrested Silk Road Ringleaders Walk Free on Bail" http://mashable.com/2014/01/09/silk-road-bail/
That article is four hours old. The poster made his comment seven hours ago. Why be a dick instead of just sharing updated information?
The silk road domain is not "registered" in the common sense. Since they seized the server, they now control the keypair used to publish the hidden service descriptor. They just installed the keys on their own server and put up a banner saying it's been seized.
>Do you think its necessary?
No. You are already using a "super VPN" when you are using the Tor network. A VPN is generally unnecessary unless Tor is illegal in your country. If that is the case, you should probably use a Tor bridge instead of a VPN.
There is this guy that recently posted an onion hosting service:
http://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/1uu3tz/cryuserv_needs_your_help_40_noncp_sites/
It's very easy to set up and host an onion site. It's much harder to make sure that it is secure and won't somehow leak information that will lead back to you.
If you want to try setting up your own onion site, here's a guide from the torproject:
Silk Road 1 died a horrible death.
Silk Road 2.0 is up and running (although slowly at times).
Install Tor
Browse to silkroad6ownowfk.onion (see side bar) and check it out.
Any standard Bitcoin wallet should work, but be careful, because if inappropiately configured, they will not go through Tor, and they might leak your real IP address. Some are easier to set up with Tor than others.
Mini guide for Tails + Electrum (my favourite, if you aren't using Tails steps will be similar, but be careful):
Go to the official website for Electrum (https://electrum.org/) and download the sources.
Extract the content that you have downloaded.
Doubleclick the "electrum" file and click "Run". It will show a tutorial to create your wallet.
Once you are done, it will tell you that "You are offline" and will appear not to work. To fix this, close Electrum then open it again. Now click the red button on the bottom right corner (or alternatively go to Tools -> Network). In "Proxy" choose SOCKS5, localhost, 9050, then click OK.
Wait for some seconds and your wallet will be working.
You may also try web wallets like the Blockchain wallet (no experience with them), they may be a bit easier to use, specially without leaking your IP. But be careful with scams.
In the US, DXM is not scheduled, it is an OTC drug. This means it can be legally bought and sold as a research chemical (not for human consumption). There are a number of foreign companies that sell it in bulk to US customers.

I can leave Orbot connected to tor all day with no noticeable battery drain. The 4g speed isn't slowed down by it being up. With regards to security it probably isn't as great as the full tor bundle but it is the only app for android that will let you connect to tor. I usually just browse the silkroad forums with it. More info here https://guardianproject.info/apps/orbot/
It's a specially customized version of Debian Linux setup to be secure and run Tor from startup. It's designed to not leave any traces of its presence after it has been run. You either boot it from a DVD or a USB flash drive.
You can find out more and download it from here: https://tails.boum.org/
Here are some quick instructions for getting it up and running:
https://pay.reddit.com/r/SilkRoad/comments/1urgyh/is_tails_needed/cel0liz
You don't need it but its good to use because it leaves no trace of ilegal online activity on your computer. https://tails.boum.org/download/index.en.html this is the actual TAILS website and its pretty thorough.
It's a packaged Linux system that you boot off of a DVD or a USB flash drive. It only allows communication over the Internet through the Tor network. It comes with GPG / seahorse for PGP message encryption and a special version of Firefox (Iceweasel) for browsing the web over Tor. Give it a try:
Don't get your VPN advice from places like this, LE would probably try to steer people into using their honeypot solutions. However VPNs can in some cases provide an extra safety net. For instance they'll hide the fact that you're using tor which could give you added security if you live in a rural area where only a few people are using tor. If you're a vendor then that could be used to pin down your location in which case a VPN could save you. However you'll probably find more useful adive here (;t=all). If you're planning on using one though, definitely don't use a free one as they're all crap. If you do choose to pay then get one that accepts Bitcoin instead of credit cards. Also get one that claims that they don't keep logs. They could still be lying but some VPN providers don't even promise that and others are known to be keeping logs i.e. HideMyAss.
Hallo Eidgenossen :P Ich biete über den Tor-Browser

SR is a hidden service on the Tor network. Nothing to do with torrents.
You need to download the Tor Browser Bundle and navigate to the SR address in the sidebar. Make sure to use the sidebar for the correct address.
See our Guides section in our wiki for more help.
I just tried https://www.reddit.com and it came up as unencrypted, so in this case I don't think it would make any difference because httpseverywhere isn't enabled here. I'm pretty damn sure it has to do with noscript, that's the only thing that makes sense to me, or maybe your particular node is blocked by reddit.
Yeah, I thought that it would show up on windows since it's FAT32, but it doesn't seem to. The Windows disk manager sees the partitions, but all it will let you do is delete them.
I just tested this next USB boot method and it worked. You might want to give it a try as an alternative to building the USB with the Tails DVD.
Download this program:
http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/
Insert your USB drive into a slot.
Format it with Windows as FAT32 / quick format.
Start up the USB installer.
Select "Tails" from the "Other Distros Alphabetical" in the drop down box.
Browse to your original download copy of tails (tails-i386-0.22.iso)
Select the USB drive in the next drop down.
Hit create.
This might work if your laptop is having difficulty with the boot block that Tails is creating. The boot block and disk layout on this one are different.
The downside to using this method, is that you cannot create a persistence partition on the USB. But, at least you will be able to experiment with Tails and boot it up a lot faster than off of the DVD.
You need a webserver running on a machine, then you need Tor running on that machine as well. You setup Tor with the private key you have generated for an onion address and point it to your webserver. The webserver meanwhile should have no access to the internet, it should be accessed purely through Tor.
Quick Guide : http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/create-hidden-service-tor-site-set-anonymous-website-server/ Official Tor Project documentation for running a hidden service : https://www.torproject.org/docs/tor-hidden-service.html.en
Great. Thanks for your interest. Alongside my email () I'm responding through reddit PM using https://privnote.com. I'm hoping that that helps with confidentiality, but let me know if it doesn't.
Don't use your phone for Tor or I2P, there's enough security issues with going full opsec on your Tails](https://tails.boum.org/) setup that going off your phone is a terrible idea.
Get an old computer off of craigslist for 50 bucks. Install Linux. Go from there.
If you are in the United States, you don't need to use a VPN to access Tor, because using Tor is not illegal.
Putting a VPN between you and the Tor network is really not necessary and is just one more thing to potentially cause connection problems. It will also make the connections even slower.
You would be better off investing your time in downloading Tails and learning how to use it to stay more secure.
You could do and encrypted partition on the usb?
Use the Disk Utility and make an encrypted partion and save the key in there. The encrypted partion volume is not erased each time you end your tails session.
https://tails.boum.org/doc/encryption_and_privacy/encrypted_volumes/index.en.html
Note to anybody in the future looking at this post,
Signed up with Private Internet Access. Best $7 I ever spent knowing I wasn't being watched. Much love to Walmart and his amazing products!
so I didnt use tails at all in the end. I used the step by step guide - I didnt actually use any of the links to software provided - I got Quick JS and FoxyProxy as an add on through the add on manager in firefox. I initially got a Windows prompt saying that i2p didnt install properly (windows 7), the wizard said the recommended action was to reinstall, which I did. I also had to change my firewall settings to make sure it allowed i2p. Best of luck :)
Truly paranoid users connect their local bitcoin wallet to the blockchain using Tor instead of a VPN. They do not use online wallets like but use a secure desktop wallet like Electrum instead.
Private Internet Access is a good VPN but a truly paranoid user would not trust them not to keep logs and uses Tor instead.
They would also use the Send Shared mixer instead of Shared Coin because a My Wallet account is not required to use Send Shared. Send Shared takes longer and is more expensive than Shared Coin but is more anonymous.
