Thanks but I have tried every one of those and more.
Windows "emulators" of Windows 95 that should but can't. gog.com, I looked up reviews on the games I like and they weren't really great. Oh, well. Plenty more games out there.
I took my computer to geek specialists who charged me a couple hundred dollars to set it up and It did play BotF but not CIV. {I don't like later versions of CIV}
That computer died and I'm not paying for it again...it's just a game.

Here is a fun python drawing machine: 🤖👾

click on the run button, then click on the console tab and write the number of repetitions (I suggest 20-200) and press enter.
Then click on the "result" tab to see the drawing.
If you have any problems or comments message me here. 😊
Amazing things- the amount of air a racehorse shifts is staggering. It’s also why this poor little chap caused such an outcry.
Indeed. The volume I found over at Amazon contains excerpts only. The unabridged translation is a massive, multi-volume tome and it costs over $800!
Excellent post; I'm learning a lot. Essen, do you know of anywhere online where one can read Avicenna's Canon in English? I've been trying to find it, but with no luck.
I've managed to find it over at Amazon, where it's available in both hardcover and Kindle format.
Wow! That's amazing. I was thinking the costume looked too good to be any kind of amateur production. I just looked it up and see that it's an adaptation of Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. It's available for streaming from Amazon (at least in the U.S.) here.
Looked around but it'd not on any immediate streams I could find, but here is the set on Amazon. Worth every penny for a fan, and I paid more upon it's initial release...

Yes it sucks. Found a workaround for America. Its a surge protector too. every outlet should have one LOL.
This post reminds me that it's been way too long since I've read Strunk & White's The Elements of Style. For those of you unfamiliar with it, here's Rule 17:
>17. Omit needless words.
>
>Vigorous writing is concise. A sentence should contain no unnecessary words, a paragraph no unnecessary sentences, for the same reason that a drawing should have no unnecessary lines and a machine no unnecessary parts. This requires not that the writer make all sentences short, or avoid all detail and treat subjects only in outline, but that every word tell.
If you haven't read Strunk & White, you've got a treat in store. It will improve your writing and thinking more than any other book of its tiny size (87 pages, not counting the glossary and index). You can buy a copy here.
here is a drawing program.
I am not too happy with it but i am not sure what is wrong.
Let me know if you have any suggestion!

Here is a heartfelt code to play around.
It has some random elements so just press run button if you don't like the result 🥰
Several random thoughts raised by this video:
Love the use of space Star, you are definitely showing signs of improvement. I would like to see a little more shading and structure, but overall it looks great. Tomorrow we will be working with GLUE!!!!!!!!! :P

This is an example you can use to help you in the future......... :)
Fun article. My favorite passage: "I bought several packs of Peeps and opened them on alternating days in the week leading up to Easter. I wasn’t just making them stale — as I joked to colleagues, I was dry-aging them."
By the way, if anyone is hitting a paywall, as I was: Brave browser is your friend. This works for the New York Times, Medium, and other paywall sites as well.
That's an excellent tweak to the Serenity Prayer.
Michael Pollan, the food writer, recently released an audiobook titled, Caffeine: How Caffeine Created the Modern World. He makes the case that modern society, as we know it, would not exist if it wasn't for coffee, and the corollary: To function well in the society we've created, some degree of caffeination is now necessary.
The dog, the dog - this is what was lacking in this poem. Poe is no stranger to animals: the Raven and the orang-utan in one of the Dupin-story. And there must be animals in the narrative of Arthur Gordon Pym.
But you are right, it's the pinnacle of cheekiness to mangle this poems like this.
I'm an avid fan of the Delmore Brothers - the moment I heard for the first time a song by the Brothers I was hooked and in the meantime I have all of their songs on my harddrive.
Alton Delmore wrote a fascinating Biography:
That was fun. One of my favourite books is Pegasus Descending, a collection of very bad verse from (mostly) very good poets. Out of print for years but available on Amazon.

If you are being blocked it is coming from your side. IPVanish or any vpn will get you through. I was having problems with the guardian but it was because I took away a web sites ability to reload pages on its own.
It's possibly a highly effective preventative.

In the meantime, I've been using First Defence every time I've been out and return home - three squirts up each nostril. It's probably going to reduce any viral load considerably, though I've not seen anyone quantify it for Covid. My old friends at Porton Down think it's worth using, as do many of my friends who work in this area scientifically. It's widely available in UK, but is available in US as well. Basically, encapsulates any viral particles you have inhaled in a gel that then goes down your throat to stomach (where acidic environment kills things). Don't wait to get symptoms, just use it every time you come back to house. Not clinically proven, but many of us who do science in this area are using it. You will get a runny nose when you use it, but that is the point - the lower the viral load, the less likely you are to get a nasty bout

ps not an endorsment, we don't know it has a positive effect, just a calculated guess, and I have no commercial connection
