This is 100% true. Trump was an objectively bad, socialist leaning president (massively expanding the federal governments power and overrunning budgets to essentially direct the economy is socialism, btw) that did absolutely nothing out of character for a United States president except say silly things on the internet. He was 100% in line with how executive branch policy and procedure has been operating since forever.
There isn’t a real logical argument rooted in voting for Biden 2020 as the lesser of two evils unless you consider just switching things up to be beneficial. It factually wasn’t as of now. In a time of obvious economic decline brought on by bad federal spending over decades (much of which Biden was already responsible for having been in government since he was born, and Trump was obviously part of this when in office the first round), he has forced us even further into debt with massive spending increases that are, as with almost all federal spending, kickbacks to campaign donors.
Russiagate was an entirely fabricated scam created by a habitual liar and known con man who was butt-hurt at Trump for personal political reasons I can’t recommend this book enough if you want to understand Russiagate/how completely fake and retarded the modern corporate/government “intelligence” apparatus is. This book has been out for years, yet pseudointellectual redditors continue to toss around Russian asset allegations, despite the obvious fact that the DNC/CIA are buttfucking each other and have generated rumors of Russian collusion for everyone from Tulsi Gabbard to Bernie Sanders.
All of this egregious overreach and outright lying just being passed over by “liberals” (you aren’t actually liberal in any meaningful sense) because Trump said a mean tweet has done more damage to the American narrative and potentially our outcomes than Trump even did himself.

I’ve spent far too much time debating people on the merits of such a system that aren’t familiar with the literature and instead only question it from a more shallow “pragmatic” point of view. Instead, I’d recommend reading the source material on the matter from an economic perspective in Rothbard’s Man Economy and State. He makes a wonderful case that is much more comprehensive than Malice’s arguments.
