Many ways depends on what are your needs.
If you need low current, you can piggyback your 12v in the fuse box (safe method begginer level)
If you need high current, you will have to find a outlet in the fusebox. Put a fuse, install the wire, secure everything.
My matrix has two 12v, two 2Amps Usb outlet plus inside temperature and Volts of the battery.
All fitted in the extras space left for accessories in the dash.
I've had great luck with Krylon flat black. I did the wheels and hub caps also, and they've weathered well, granted it's only been a few weeks.
The phone mount was cheap and has held up for over a year so far.
Thanks! I will likely fix this for peace of mind. For now I put a little tap light on my windshield and thats working for me so I can get familiar with the interior controls. https://i.imgur.com/W2eCjtU.jpg

Not perfect, but an simple solution solver .
I purchased these last year. These definitely flickered with the naked eye with the Daylight Control Module.
HIKARI 9006/HB4 LED Bulbs,12000LM... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0943KWM41?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
My solution to get these to work was to disable the Daylight Control Module. Most do that by cutting a wire. I made the effort of getting a spare module from a salvage car at a junkyard and pulled a specific pin out of it to disable automatic headlights. I did that so I could switch back to automatic headlights if I wanted to. And not have to worry about splicing wires.
I did verify the Daylight Control Module underneath the steering column is the same from a Pontiac Vibe as a Toyota Matrix.
The Pontiac one I pulled is what is automatic controlling my Sealight bulbs. I moved the Hikari Bulbs to my fog lights. I actually have 3 daylight control modules. The original. A spare from a different Matrix I pulled the pin in. And a Pontiac Vibe one I'm using now.
The only exterior halogen bulbs I have left are my high beam bulbs. Everything else I've upgraded to LEDs. I had to purchase a LED rated turn signal flasher to get the turn signals not behave with LEDs like I have a burned out bulb with hyper flashing.
Can't for the life of me find them online but it was a 2 horn kit from a big box auto parts store in Ontario (Canadian Tire). Looked kinda like this and came with not enough wires to hook everything up. So I bought a couple more wires and spliced the two horns into the original horn wire, connected the grounds with a couple metal brackets and away she goes
the monitor was the last part to go in, which is plugged in via cable after the unit is installed and the plastic trim reseated. I used this for mounting:

I settled but got them on Amazon

They do a pretty good job holding melting snow and ice and fit well in my '05
Pick whichever pioneer head unit on Amazon or whatever you like, based on the features. I ripped an older double DIN pioneer head unit out of my old car and put it in my matrix, and I used this complete wiring harness that goes from Toyota OEM to pioneer. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078GBDRVX/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_api_glc_i_ZF2SEFCBBHCEG5BW3Q8C I didn’t have to do any wiring/crimping.
I can't find the post, and the kit for the first gen doesn't work on the second gen. It's possible that the kit for the same gen corolla will work, I will post a link to it from Amazon. But to not down vote you into oblivion,I'll let your smart answer slide.
This has been a good basic code reader for me. $30 is a good budget and even does live data.

I got these for my fog lights (as they are cheap) and got auxito ones for my headlights. The main thing to watch out for is where the led is positioned. You want it to be in the same place as the factory bulbs so the beam pattern remains the same. This provides more light in the right place and ensure that you don't blind anyone.
Seems like you've decided on a bt stereo. I put this one in my cr-v in July and it's been excellent.

I just got this one installed in my matrix enjoying it so far. If you reach out to the seller too with order number they give you a free reverse camera, dash cam, and obd reader as well you just pay taxes and it's delivered prime.
The rear calipers are screw in type. A lot of people try to use a c-clamp but it sometimes won’t have enough twisting force compared to its compressing force. A caliper wind back tool like this is really the best way.
Below is the one that I use in my Matrix. You don’t necessarily need the wireless charging one, but I like all of the iOttie “one touch” mounts :)
FWIW I live in Florida and haven’t had issues with the sun melting the mount off my dashboard in the summer like I have with other brands haha

$35 on Amazon, it'll help you get an idea of what could be going on before going to a shop. My current 2004 Vibe had a faulty oxygen sensor, my previous 04 Vibe was more serious with a slipping transmission.

it works nicely, but I wouldn't mind swapping it out for some bluetooth!
