go to https://windscribe.com/ and download windscribe for free
you should connect to "best location", your internet turns off for a few second so wait a bit and then launch the game "vindictus.exe" when your internet is back.
once you are at the main menu of the game which has 3 options like "start game", "options" and "exit", you can turn off windscribe, wait again for internet to come back and press "start game".
tada, you can play the game.
you can bypass login by using any free vpn that give you korean ip then disconnect before you hiting start game i use this to play in eu i am from north west africa i use VyprVPN it's free and it has korean vpn you can try it but not sure that it will work.
but the bad news is that we are too far from korea so you are going to sit on 300ms without using a gaming vpn.
I have played both Mabi & Vindi.
Well you kind of have me there, all I know is that the characters of Vindictus are the ancestors to those of Mabinogi. The Season 1 of Vindictus takes place mmmm.....several hundred years before Generation 1 of Mabinogi I believe? The humans at this time believed that they could bring back Morrighan, who would bring them paradise, if they annihilated the Fomors. Because of this view, however, it kinda ties into the game of why you have so many dungeons to run, endless war for those hundreds of years. All just a legend though.
Thats all I know.
Did a deeper search and found this:
http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/991388-vindictus/58639288
And this might help as well. I should read through that. I know that is information that is 4 years old but hey its only part of the puzzle. If you run into anymore please post back here. :)
Cheers :D
If the launcher is the problem, here's a non-fishy launcher (source included) that does the bare minimum to launch the game from the .exe directly.
Gmail isn't the only mail provider, try https://protonmail.com/ it doesn't require phone number, that being said the game isn't that great as to jump through hoops with a vpn to play it.
Call me a noob but I was under the impression that it is best to look for single-thread performance when buying cpu's for this game.
According to this website a G3258 has a higher single thread performance than a 4460, so wouldn't that actually make the G3258 better?
I will probably look for a 4690 but not the K version since it is a helluvalot more expensive
http://www.filedropper.com/hshield_4 Use this to overwrite the current folder you have, the current version most people have has bugged out. This is on the Vindictus Forums if you don't trust me.
Edit: Otherwise try reinstalling, that should work as well.
My fps were all over the place. After I deactivated Windows fast boot ( https://lifehacker.com/enable-this-setting-to-make-windows-10-boot-up-faster-1743697169 ) I have a constant 144fps (my monitors refresh rate). Maybe try that. I have no Idea why it helped, but from what I've heared it has something to do with nvidias gsync. So maybe it helps with AMDs Freesync, too.
Official EU/NA website received a large number of visits in December of 1.06 million compared to 600k in November and 520k in October. Seems that there is more visits that comes from NA countries (43% US, 5% Canada, 3% Mexico, etc)
Source: https://www.similarweb.com/website/vindictus.nexon.net

Steam charts says too that we had some more players in this last month (peak of 658 players on december)

We can't know exactly how it is, because the visits count is not accurate at all and its not meant that they all will play the game, same with steam because there is people playing without steam.

But the player base seems decent even with this numbers and not much information, NA server should be more populated than eu as visits location says, but I play in EU and I usually found players to do content so it shouldn't be a problem.

I wouldn't say that worth playing sacreficing your life for it, know some friends that left the game playing like that.
I'm enjoying the game playing just casual, If you like so much the game maybe you can manage to play as you want.
Do some research, find a VPN that you trust. If you want actually good service you're gonna have to fork out cash. I can't remember any good/dependable free VPNs off the top of my head. Many years back I was using Hotspot Shield to play on NA but the connectivity is pretty terrible and there's a limit to usage duration. Instantly ditched NA the moment SEA server opened, because playing with VPN (and nexon) were pissing me off.
