Thanks /u/Givemesomepaypalmomy for asking some great questions for me and /u/frippilin for providing some feedback. So some thing like this might be a good start? Also on Amazon, I saw there are a few bundles, but I am not sure about the quality, I rather spend a little more for something good.
I haven't personally ever bought a camera used but I know there are a lot of good places to get a solid deal on an a6000 as it has been out for a while and one of the more popular mirrorless cameras. Sounds like you have a good eye on eBay.
I would check out /r/photomarket as you can get an a6000 for $300-400 depending on amount of shutter count, overall condition, and if it comes with the kit lens. You also might search your local Craigslist and Facebook marketplace for an a6000, might not have any luck but it is worth a shot. You also might check Adorama or B&H as they occasionally have them as well. Your best bet would probably be /r/photomarket thought.
If you want new Amazon usually has it on sale every few months around $400 for the body only. You can check the camelcamelcamel here. If you want the kit lens with it they usually go for $500, again you can check here regarding the historic prices on Amazon. Usually if it goes on sale through Amazon it will be on sale on other sites like Adorama, B&H, etc. If you can hold off I would personally go for a new one via Amazon the next time it goes down to $400.
I did a photo shoot today with lots of clouds. An external flash can make your portraits much more dynamic and add drama
Here's the one I have. It's made for Sony and supports HSS
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYCAFFN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
If you get one, be sure to get one capable of HSS. In bright sun with your aperture wide open, you’ll have to shoot at a really high shutter speed so that your image isn’t blown out. When that happens, your background may be correctly exposed, but your subject might be underexposed. That’s where the flash comes in. With the flash, you’re able to expose the background and subject separately.
In addition, if within your budget, get a flash that you can use off-camera with a trigger and probably some kind of stand to mount your flash on. Depending on how you want your images to look, you may not want the flash directly on your camera.
I’m not a pro, this is just from first-hand experience and a little research. I didn’t do my research beforehand and ended up buying a cheap speedlight without HSS.
If budget isn’t huge: try this
If your budget is bigger: get this
I started getting spot issues as soon as I started changing lenses regularly and I’m glad to report the fix isn’t that challenging. Like the other commenter said, canned air is your friend. That’ll dislodge way more debris than the camera clean sensor function ever could. If that doesn’t work, you could pay someone. The $20/pop the other person listed is a great price, but it’s way more expensive where I live and they take the body 5-7 days.
I got over my giant fear of cleaning the sensor myself and now I do it without hesitation whenever I need it. I bought this sensor cleaner kit on Amazon and, although I was intimidated the first time, couldn’t believe how easy it was when I took the plunge. I use two swabs per clean, one with 2 drops of the solution applied to the tip to wipe and the other just dry. Spray the sensor first with canned air so you’re not dragging any chunks over the sensor with the swab, then one swipe each way across the sensor with the beveled edge on the first swab to wipe, repeat with the dry one to remove any streaks. That’s it!
I don’t know about other brands, but those do fit our APS-C sensor width almost perfectly and I’m on my second box of them now. I’m glad I got over that hump as it’s way cheaper over time to just do it yourself. I seriously felt kind of dumb as my local shop that charges $80/pop just does this themselves.
I saw this deal bundled with a camera bag, extra battery, sd card and some other goodies for $600 not too long ago.
I think it'll be cheaper.
Here's the old link to the deal. It's dead but you can kind of see what the market is valued at.
Awesome Deal available from Rakuten!!!! 209$
Item Price : 249$ Final price : 249$- 40$ = 209$
Coupon : BF20
I bought one from this deal and going to return the one bought from Amazon
As far as I know there isn't a super easy way without capture card. I also know you said without HDMI but these capture cards are available for under 15 dollars and they work fine. Not as sharp as an elgato but usable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DTDSJYP/ .
Don't have much help to offer but I bought this one a few months back and it works great, plus I can even use off of a big battery bank

yeah, I could only find one and it can be too expensive if it is just to see if you like that type of photography. I couldn't find extension tubes either. they are a cheaper alternative and you can use them with any of your current lenses. if you visit a shop, check if they have a set of extension tubes for Sony E mount.
Amazon has 20% off their amazon warehouse right now.
There's a good deal on used/like new Sony A6000 at Amazon warehouse!:

Sony A6000 body only: $385 - 20% = $308
Let it be known I'm a total noob with cameras. It's this model: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00I8BICCG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
with a Sony SELP1650 16-50mm Power Zoom Lens attached. I'm not sure why it's so grainly and I can't actually take a photo with it. It's not a refurbished model either. Any idea what to do with it?
here's the kit zoom lens. should fulfill everything you're asking for. You can also get the 70-200 used for under 200
I bought this one: Gonine AC-PW20 AC Power Supply Adapter and DC Coupler Charger Set, Replace NP-FW50 Battery for Sony Alpha A6500, A6400, A6300, A7, A7II, A7RII, A7SII, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D67LTIK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_ZAFaBzmH59fED
For the exact same reason (webcam) and it works perfectly.
Amazon link. This will allow you to see the rear display like a selfie. I haven't used it personally. It is on my wish list but haven't had a need for it yet myself.

I use an insert very similar to this one on Amazon.
It allows me to keep my camera in a bag that doesn't scream "I'm a camera! Steal me!"
I keep it in a bag that's similar to this.
Everyone I run into loves my setup. I got my bag at a military surplus store, taking the insert with me to ensure it fit. You could definitely do the same thing at REI or whatever is convenient to you, or, if you don't mind sending things back to Amazon, try a few bags from there. The one-strap shoulder bag works great for me; easy to swing down and access and swap lenses or cards on the fly. And as you requested, it's small, not as hot or burdensome as even a school-size backpack.
Not sure about the tablet too, as I don't have one, but I was able to fit a Kindle, a mess of maps, 2 language books, and a pocket guide to Paris all in mine, and that's atop of the camera, 3 lenses (one always mounted), batteries, and a rain jacket rolled up in the side pocket. Plus little odds/ends. If you get creative with how you store it, you can fit almost anything.
Thanks, is this the one you're referring to https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-SELP18105G-Mount-APS-C-18-105/dp/B00ENZRQH8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8
I'm going to japan so I want to take pictures of the scenery. So this is a kit lens?
I use some Neewer or Meike or something from Amazon. These are metal. They'll work with whatever lens you want, but make sure the focal length is greater than the extension tube focal length.
The raynox should work, as the extension tubes fit between the lens and the body.
MEIKE MK-S-AF3A Metal Auto Focus Macro Extension Tube Adapter Ring (10mm+16mm )for Sony Mirrorless E-Mount FE-Mount A7 NEX Camera A7 A7M2 NEX3 NEX5 NEX6 NEX7 A5000 A5100 A6000 A6300 A6500 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRXL7Q1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2FZ9BbEEAM1Y6
I'm using this sling bag to carry camera+both kit lenses, spare card and spare battery, and a couple of other odds and ends. My biggest gripe is that the outer pockets do not have zippers, but other than that its great.

Here’s what I have:
AmazonBasics 50-Inch Lightweight Tripod with Bag https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XI87KV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_bpphAbZ2QZ9Q4
I can’t imagine needing anything more robust than this, since I’m not doing pro shoots or anything. It’s super versatile and lightweight.
you need a FD to E-Mount they also go by FD to NEX adaptors. I bought this one for a FD 50mm 1.8 and it works great. I even used it on some Vivitar lens a friend found and it also worked.
I don't believe you can use filters on the adapter. Does it have a Φ number? As you noted, without threads and a Φ number you can't fit a conventional filter. You could use something like this I think?
I've been looking into this for a while. I'm new to video/photography and I can't stand poor audio. From all the test footage I've managed to track down, none of the mics which will allow internal recording are good. Unfortunately, when you compare price versus quality, I don't believe that the sound from any of these mics (like the Sony hotshoe) are worth the money. As far as I'm concerned, they all sound bad!
The solution that I think will work for me is the Rode Smartlav+ (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rode-Smartlav-Lavalier-Microphone-Smartphone/dp/B00EO4A7L0) while recording onto my iPhone.
I'm similar to you in that I would prefer to simplify the editing process and record internally for vlogging on the go. Most of the time I ask for recommendations, I am recommended an external mic hooked up to an external recorder. At least if I can record to the iPhone I can transfer files to my MacBook pretty easily and don't need the additional cost of an external recorder. At the moment the Smartlav is £43. While the quality isn't outstanding, the price is quite low and it will increase general sound quality when blogging without going to too much trouble.
I'll probably have this setup within the next month or so. If it turns out to be a good (or bad!) choice then I'll update.
Do you want something robust and expensive that can handle rough surf and watersports, or are you looking for something a bit more basic?
I've have friends who have had a lot of uccess using stuff like this DiCAPac underwater camera bag
Until I hit the big time, I don't think I'll be buying any more hard plastic housings, this style looks like it'll do good enough for me for quite some time.
You can actually see some photos from users on Amazon in the reviews! https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FM5MY9C/ref=ox_sc_act_title_8?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A25BIGUW7MK12R Neat function of that site.
