Not looking good according to weather.com
But at least most of the thunderstorms are expected early in the day. Hopefully it clears up by the time the festival starts.
Thanks for the reply, I have too but never in a city where it might be hard to find an available hotel room if we had to. I'm gonna research it.
Edit: That was easy to find, here's the info if anyone else needs to know.

Often true. But, Radiohead does play in Mexico City on Monday after the first weekend. They might want a day or two buffer for travel. Sunday would make it a tight schedule.

Songkick lists each Friday as their tour dates in addition to the whole ACL Festival weekends.
I got in with this pack in 2019, but I can’t remember if the rules are the same back then from now.
I found this 100 count of Sunscreen packets from Amazon. Not sure how soon it will arrive if ordered today.
I think the biggest problem with buying wristbands that way is fear of the purchaser claiming theirs was stolen and having it reissued, thereby deactivating the old one.
If you're just worried about it being a counterfeit wristband with an invalid RFID tag, once you've verified that it registers on the website, you can scan it with an NFC-enabled phone (most are) to compare the unique ID number to the number you used to register it. If it scans and they're the same, you're good to go. NFC TagInfo is great for Android, I'm sure you can find a similar app on iOS.
I brought in one of these last year (general entrance) and this year (family entrance), my teenage daughter also used one last year (general entrance), no issues. I don't even think it was ever opened. I had Rx migraine pills, advil, tylenol, caffeine, pepto, childrens iburofen, and childrens stomach medicine. lol. So I would imagine a pill bottle with all the pills you need should be fine.

I don't know - I use a tiny purse that has about 4 compatments. No problem. I just unzipped the larger ones walking through. I'll send a link these are must haves.
Women Crossbody Cell Phone Purse... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09D9531VS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
OUTXE Phone Lanyard Tether with 4... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JPG7229?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share - used at Life is Beautiful, Float Fest, and ACL this year. LIB & ACL this year and it’s saved me. Also, if you’re a woman, I highly suggest leggings with side pockets and keeping your phone there but chained to you Fanny or camel back. You’re definitely going to feel someone reach into skin tight leggings if they try something.
Highly recommend getting some high fidelity ear plugs for everyone and encouraging the teens to wear them. Hearing protection is so important, especially if they are likely to venture into the crowd. These earplugs will also make the music sound better and help avoid painful ringing at the end of a full day. Help them get set up to be able to continue experiencing concerts for years and years to come by starting the habit now.
I got this backpack from Amazon and I’ve used it for every single concert/festival/game ever since lol. I’ve never had anyone give me any issues. There are technically 4 pockets - one big pocket, two side pockets, and a small front pocket - but no one sees the side pockets. It fits all my belongings including a bulky denim jacket!
personally, i use these. they're cheap, light weight, and incredibly effective of dampening without making everything sound muffled like big crappy foam ear plugs.
i know i've seen kids at ACL wear like these big over the ear headset looking things. makes me wonder if they offer them there at the fest because all the kids i saw wearing them seemed to be wearing the same exact thing. either way, i assume if you're looking to protect kids hearing you might want to look into something like that, which i'm guessing are more heavy duty than the ones i linked.
Now that you mention it, I had two bags (one in the car just in case) because the dimensions specified don't actually exist in the wild. The backpacks I could find (in person and on the internet) only meet 2 of 3 requirements for height, width, depth. My backup was a children's backpack. I'm glad I didn't need it.
This is what I used: https://www.amazon.com/Backpack-Approved-Cold-Resistant-Transparent-Security/dp/B096W63YJ3
No issues getting in or with pickpockets.
Thanks to Always Sunny I use this for sporting events, but make sure you buy the “safety seal” (not included) because I have had to prove its not openedz
Beast coast tickets are available hella discounted on groupon!! Dropping the link in case that helps... seeing them at ACL would be preferable tho.

Even if you end up with a booking - be aware that a host can cancel you on short notice without much of a penalty (e.g. friends of host decide to come to ACL, just inconvinient to have guests all of a sudden, ...).
See e.g. http://www.paulsavage.eu/daily-life/airbnb-cancelation-experience/
I used this one all 3 days. It's basically a damn backpack but it meets the 3 total pocket requirement. I brought in a sunglass case, my Invisalign holder, I hid some gummies in it, brought my vaccine card in a ziploc bag. No issues, they only looked in the bag on Sunday at the west entrance. The mushed my bag around the first 2 days and didn't even look inside at the main entrance.
This bag was big enough to hold the merch I bought(hoodie, 3 shirts) and a full bladder with the mentioned above items.

Get one of those little water proof pouches on a necklace/lanyard, loop it around your belt loop and keep it in your pocket if you don't want it swinging from your neck all day.
Boom, I've taken these for 3 years and they work fantastically well.
Is this bag within bag policy parameters? So confused lol https://www.amazon.com/Approved-Crossbody-Shoulder-Backpack-Transparent/dp/B07QKPPDT7/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?crid=2NH5PIYJVZXZ9&dchild=1&keywords=clear+messenger+bag&qid=1633311866&sprefix=clear+messe&sr=8-6
Oooh! I’ve got this one!
I’ve got these great Loop earplugs and have worn them to a number of shows including Governors Ball this past weekend. Can’t recommend them enough!
If those aren’t your style, I’ve heard great things about Etymotic brand ones. Can’t speak from firsthand experience, but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the hi-fi ones.
My tinnitus-prone ears share a high-five to yours!
Handheld electronic fan—helps so much in the heat. I got mine from Amazon and it’s pretty powerful. Also having extra batteries helps since they only last about 3 hours. Links below

17 by 7 by 13 inches. My dumb ass didn't look at the measurements when I bought it. I looked up stadium approved bags and gave the dimensions and this popped up. My bad to assume I guess.
I'm curious if something like this is allowed? The specifications for backpacks is so difficult and I need one due to scoliosis.

This is the one I got. Fits the dimensions and seems sturdy enough. Haven’t fully used it yet but seems good quality
Check out Sojourner Hydration backpacks on Amazon! I have had one since 2018 and have had no issues with it. No leaks, no rips, etc… Holds a good amount of water, has plenty of pockets and space for other stuff like keys, money, sunglasses, etc.
FYI They let this in today (emptied all pockets ahead of time to speed it up) PLUS my fannypack. Get a young male security checker, don't bring much & you'll be fine! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QH7B1CK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I used this backpack for OSL this year and they had similar backpack rules as ACL. I tried emailing ACL about it got this as a response, so no help, "If the bag you linked to meets all of the restrictions listed here: https://www.aclfestival.com/information/#faq-general-5155 then you're good to."
