You make an account here: https://ifttt.com/ and you want to Create an “Applet” which you can do after you’re logged in by clicking on your profile in the top right (on desktop). It would say IF and then you click the add button and search for Reddit where it should show you different Reddit related options. The correct one would be new post in subreddit or something similar. The subreddit would the acturnips, and the THEN part would be email in this example which you wouldn’t have to fill in anything for since you signed up with email.

It’s a really neat website that is SUPER powerful cause you can connect so many different websites and services into chains of notifications or actions with zero programming.

I feel like all the reasons for which the mods banned turnip exchange exist for that new app, with the added reason of it requires users to download an app.

So if you're gonna ban turnip exchange, then ban the damn app, too.
