Super simple. I hadn’t setup a Fidelity account yet so did that first. Took 5 mins. Then went to transfer from another firm into Fidelity. Hit RH. Entered my RH account number (under account scroll to bottom in RH) and presto. Took like 2 mins to initiate. I think actual transfer takes 1-3 days. Fee is $75 if you’re transferring less than $2,500 in stocks. Otherwise free. Didn’t have that much but figured it’d still be worth it bc: moass. Holiday weekend so prob won’t be finished till next Thursday but it cool. Just been hodling since January anyway 😂 Smooth-Brained Instructions
Edit: When I setup I chose the third option the FCASH account ! And it’s better if you already have money in your RH or Fidelity account, cuz that’s where the fee will come from but I didn’t so I initiated a transfer from my bank to my Fidelity account bc it said money transfers on RH would delay the transfer over to Fidelity.

You will need to contact Customer Support to change it to a CASH account. If you are on GOLD and use GOLD Buying power, then you are only digging yourself in a bigger hole. Either contact RH customer service and switch to CASH Account (this is a permanent change) or transfer out of RH. There are some apes saying they can't get out of RH for some reasons. Remember always verify information by yourself. Be safe out there apes.

Just a heads up, there can still be tax or penalties for money withdrawn before 59 years old. Also, Roth IRAs are such incredible tax advantages that the cap is a measley $6,000 a year. It's that powerful. By pulling money out you not only incurr those early withdrawal penalties, you take out money that's quite difficult to get back inside there with that yearly cap.

There is. Robbinghood to “cater” for its users always open accounts in instant accounts (which are margin) so that people can deposit money and have it lent to them to trade right away. You can however downgrade it to a cash account if you call them.

One search warrant for that, cell phone providers, one for the cell phone itself, one for the hard drive. And you better have it written up correctly or your evidence gets tossed. And each one of those requires probable cause to obtain.
Then you have to analyze the data on each. And prove that that no one else was using at the particular time in question.
Then we talk about different algorithms being used. Now you have to bring in experts to analyze that.
Then you have to jump through hoops to attempt to talk to the suspect(s). But in this case, they’re billionaires with attorneys on standby.
We skipped the part where when analyzing the data it brought you down a rabbit hole/treasure trove of other information leading to other suspects.
This group particular focuses on one particular individual (Kenny). But you have to imagine there are other forces at play here as well.
Picture how many individuals are involved in this case, both on the investigative end and then on the criminal end.
All while handling other cases as well and doing so much paperwork for each.

Nearly a year ago, Adam Aron said "Retail investors are 90% of the ownership base of AMC". Things have changed, and I like to be conservative in my estimates, so I'll concede to retail ownership only being 85%.
Regarding the estimate for 1.75B, that comes from some interesting calculations you can find on AMC-Shares.com.
Regarding how brokers normalize down their share counts to what they're supposed to have, there's a great book by former DTC employee, Dr. Susanne Trimbath called Naked, Short and Greedy. There are many other sources on how share counts work with brokers, but this is a great read that covers in details with historical examples.

SHFs can use FTDs, Synthetic Shares, and Options contracts to create Phantom Shares. And when brokerages give share counts, they normalize their figures down to the share numbers they're supposed to have.
Example:
- Brokerage is supposed to have 100 AMC shares.
- Brokerage retail investors have 125 AMC shares.
- Brokerage institutional investors have 30 AMC shares.
- Brokerage reports that they have 100 AMC shares with 81% Retail ownership (normalizing down to 81 shares) and 19% institutional ownership.
- Adam Aron says, "I see no evidence of synthetic shares. But retail owns over 80% of AMC shares!"
- While retail may own over 80%, it's way more than should exist.
