NAD: Did a quick search for toothpaste without mint, this is one that came up. There's a whole range of toothpaste flavors other than mint. I also checked the ingredient list and mint is not listed.
Get yourself some closys silver mouthwash and use it liberally after eating/drinking & if your mouth is feeling dry at all. https://www.amazon.com/CloSYS-Silver-2-Count-Fluoride-Mouthwash/dp/B01M347XMA
If your floss game isn't good enough to coax the food out of there and the gums are swollen up, try tying a few loose knots in the floss and dragging them through the space to catch the stuff. If you still can't fish it out try something like this :

Thank you for your advice. I suppose the one below I linked. And will the second one below work as well?
NAD, but I get these a lot too - they're just canker sores. Not serious other than being seriously annoying lolol
They can be triggered by stress, acidic foods, and a number of things (vitamin deficiency being among them).
I personally use this and this when I get them and they help a lot. Good luck!
This is a grape fluoride mouthwash with no menthol.
Oh I love it! It gets my back teeth way better because my teeth are crammed together so snug. Heres a link bud!

Nice, thank you! It does seem difficult to get non-fluoride-substituted HA in Europe. I'm American, though, so can fairly easily get Remin X-Pur (which lists 10% HA) forwarded to me (X-Pur). Do you have any thoughts on why HA might have improved efficacy for remineralization over BioMin C. My understanding is that Novamin works well b/c sodium substitution w/ intraoral free hydrogen ions raises mouth pH and allows for Calcium Phosphate and HA to precipitate on dentin. Biomin F is similar except causes a stable fluoroapatite to form (dissolves at ~ ph 4). I'm curious if the chloro substitution really affects BioMin C efficacy in forming stable HA.

I just want to confirm, you are talking about this one right? https://www.amazon.com/Apagard-Premio-toothpaste-nanohydroxyapatite-remineralizing/dp/B0016GCZSC?th=1
You can get an emergency filling kit at CVS until you can make it to the dentist. I'm not a dentist but I also had a filling come out once and I used this stuff. https://www.amazon.com/Dentemp-Maximum-Strength-Fillings-Recommended/dp/B00E4MK604/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=2G79XAH24VEO6&keywords=emergency+tooth+filling+kit&qid=1651335882&sprefix=emergency+tooth+filling%2Caps%2C69&sr=8-1
Ooh - this looks like it has the "expanding" idea as well, right? Maybe this is a middle road without spending designer $ on floss. But the coco looks awesome too :) https://smile.amazon.com/GUM-Expanding-Dental-Floss-Yards/dp/B01LXFT6WX/
Hi, Thanks a lot for your response. I have never faced any dental issues till now. but sometimes my gums bleed. So, i wanted to know, whether i should switch to extra soft toothbrush. At Present, i am using Sensodyne Expert Toothbrush.https://www.amazon.com/Sensodyne-Sensitive-Toothbrush-Expert-Color/dp/B018FPEAMK
Sounds like a reasonable plan. Keep up on the excellent hygiene etc. Even if you are one of the people who has the odds stacked against you it will still help slow the damage. If you don’t have prescription mouthwash from your dentist, go to a pharmacy and get this and use it either at lunch when you aren’t brushing and/or half an hour after brushing Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Antigingivitis Rinse Peppermint Twist - 16.9 fl oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N0ZOG4I/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_RXA9CR46MJXSXSN8AJ9F?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 It helps some, tastes a bit medicinal though. Stash floss picks where you chill to maybe get in a little extra flossing. Tepe also makes some fantastic ‘proxy’ brushes for between teeth in all sizes. If you are gadget friendly and wanna try waterpik, that can help clean deeper in the pockets, but you gotta do it 100% correctly. I’ll post instructions if you want.
I ate normal about 10 days after but that’s because I’m paranoid 🤣
To clean, the best thing ever is a dental syringe that you can get on Amazon: Dental Syringe 8pcs 12cc Disposable Curved Syringe Irrigation Syringe with Curved Tip https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0746H8M15/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_KHWWAYCC41APCK1DYB6K
But WAIT till you get the stitches out to use the syringe, you will need to keep using it for a while as the holes take timeeeee to close.

I'm 30 years old and still have a lot of trouble consistently brushing my teeth. At the worst of times, I only brush my teeth maybe 4-5 times a YEAR (ADHD and bipolar disorder with long depressive episodes make it incredibly difficult to focus on self care). I didn't see a dentist for 5ish years. Bleeding gums is common after not brushing for a while. The important part is to try to keep yourself on track (use an app, sticky notes, write a reminder on your mirror with a dry erase marker, whatever you can do to remember to do it). I can't speak on what kind of dental work you might need though.
As another commenter said, focus on the future for now. Make an appointment with a dentist ASAP. If you haven't been for a while/it's a new dentist they'll likely do a thorough exam on your first visit and let you know what work needs to be done.
In the meantime, I might suggest getting an ultra soft bristle toothbrush (something like this ), it won't completely stop the gum bleeding, but it's not as abrasive so it will cut down on it a lot (as well as being less painful if your gums are sensitive)
NAD: I have used these for the past 6 months with success. My dentist actually recommended a temporary boil-and-bite style to see if I could tolerate it before sinking the cost of a real one. https://amazon.com/gp/product/B07TZNH89Z/
NAD. The Oral-B iO series is probably the best. The 9 features the most brushing modes and most advanced tracking with the app. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oral-B-Ultimate-Toothbrush-Revolutionary-Technology/dp/B089MXSYF2/
Keep in mind that the most basic iO model, the 6, charges its battery much slower than the 7 and above.
Please try to check this link with two more pictures. https://files.fm/u/46fgac3nc Let me know if you can open.
Size is the same for at least three months now (was checking some old photos I had) same with color.
In terms of shape it seems that the borders might be more visible... Texture : it feels flat. But I can push the underside of that lesion with my nail

Try some potassium nitrate. Works like a charm.
Here's what I use exactly (for a different reason, however. I use at home whitening products) :
EZGO Remineralization/Desensitizing Gel 10... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B081NF8ZGJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They're not really that effective. I got Whitestrips with light for Xmas, did the 10 treatments in a row, and barely had any results. What worked the best for me was the "WhiteBrite Pro" at home whitening kit with 35% Carbamide Peroxide. It's excellent, and whitened my teeth by at least 3 shades. It comes with a remineralizer and desensitizer in case you get sensitive teeth and to protect and rebuild your enamel. Whitestrips are marginally effective at best.
Here's a link to the kit I bought, I highly reccomend it:

You should not be using bleach or alcohol-containing mouthwash on dental appliances.
OP, get a denture brush and brush it on a regular basis. You can also use something like this on a weekly basis or more to keep it nice and clean. https://www.amazon.com/Retainer-Brite-Tablets-Months-Supply/dp/B07GGDRPNF
Once it starts building up that "white crust" (calculus), it becomes very difficult to remove without scaling it with metal instruments. Also, make sure you brush your teeth well before using them.
Maybe I'm not looking at the right version, but according to the ingredient list on Amazon it contains both xylitol and sorbitol.
So, I don't think it's a cold sore. I would lay off smoking for a few days, it can aggravate the pain you feel. I would ideally ask you to try Orajel on the spot for a week. If it doesn't improve, you'd want to see a dentist. Also, I would recommend getting the chipped incisor fixed. Sometimes they can have a sharp edge and Nick the tongue ( the tongue has a natural habit of pushing up against open spaces). I've dropped a link to the Orajel on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CBQ59CB/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_XE760DPQ6RDXDWVZBT43
It looks great since it has a large capacity so don't need to refill the water regularly, because I chose a carry-on size water flosser from MTeeth since I am considering bringing it with me on the trips, so far so good but the water tank is just enough.

Your dermatologist is wrong. Nobody has a fluoride allergy/sensitivity, that whole perioral dermatitis thing was disproven years ago. You're probably reacting to the sodium lauryl sulfate. You can find many pastes without it, try this paste: https://www.amazon.com/Hello-Oral-Care-Sensitivity-Toothpaste/dp/B01N4IEXJK
This particular basic Sensodyne variety (seen HERE on Amazon) also says potassium nitrate as the active ingredient (not stannous flouride). Same active ingredients as Pro-Enamel. So I guess I'm still not clear if there any particular advantages to this basic Sensodyne variety vs Pro-Enamel.
I’m really sorry to hear that, and I can’t imagine what you’re going through.
Perhaps you can have a look online for some dental laboratories near you? You don’t need a dentist for a simple denture repair.
Worst case scenario you might wonna try a denture repair kit online from amazon or eBay or the like. (Dentemp Denture Repair Kit https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0019EYEPI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_QN9BB00X1DGHJE8HWTG8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1)

Also other tips: * She can switch between heat and ice for the swelling and just leave it on her jaw (if she has any which she may with the pain) * Get an antiseptic mouthwash for her to help prevent infection and help it heal. I used this one: https://www.amazon.com/Colgate-Peroxyl-Mouth-Sore-Rinse/dp/B00WOSEKP2 but there's other brands that work as well
I hope she gets better soon!
NAD, I love mine, but it’s unfortunately unavailable. this one is identical! It works really well and has survived being dropped a few times lol
Thanks for the reply. The toothpaste I'm currently using says it's SLS free but I'm still having problems. That's why I was wondering if it could be another ingredient like fluoride. I'm using this this which ingredients are
Active Ingredient; Sodium Monofluorophosphate
Other Ingredients; Water, Hydrated Silica, Glycerine, Sorbitol, Xylitol, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Benzoate and Titanium Dioxide Water, Hydrated Silica, Glycerine, Sorbitol, Xylitol, Cellulose Gum, Sodium Benzoate and Titanium

I’m not a dentist, but I’m in a similar situation to yours (probably worse, actually, because I also need braces and possibly jaw surgery). My teeth were in such bad condition that a dentist referred me to a dental school for a full mouth rehabilitation. I was on a waiting list for a year before they called me in for a consultation. My dental insurance will only pay out $1k a year, so the dental school was the only way to make the rehabilitation affordable for me. It’s still a lot of money, but it’s MUCH less expensive than the alternative options. So far, I’ve been receiving very good treatment at the school. The students receive lots of training before they are allowed to do clinical work and they’re very careful because their work is constantly being checked by a teacher.
You’re taking good care of your teeth now and that’s wonderful! You can also protect them from further wear by using a night guard. This is a custom night guard by J&S Dental which I purchased a couple of times. They fit me perfectly and did a good job protecting my teeth, the customer service was good, and they are relatively inexpensive. $130. (My dentist quoted me $700 and the insurance company I had at the time wouldn’t cover a dime of it.)
Don’t give up! Your situation is not hopeless! You were dealt a lousy hand and unfortunately you can’t change the past, but you can take steps to prevent things from getting worse while you research your options and save up for repair work. Always remember, you are so much more than your teeth. You’re a bright and valuable person who’s worthy of love and care, so you must treat yourself that way even if no one else does.
