Definitely recommend sticking to coco but i couldn't tell you which to use. Best off researching whatever is generally best and checking each one until you can find something.
You can also get coco bricks like this
Will expand once you've recieved it, which should cut shipping.
But whatever you do highly highly highly recommend coco.
I've used canna coco myself with pretty great success, about 20% perlite mixed in and it can't be overwatered.
Coco is basically a hydro medium so you have total control over it which allows you to rectify issues at will and keep your plant healthy the whole way through. With coco you can also water to runoff every single feed, and test the runoff to monitor how your plant is doing and whether she needs more or less food, or if you're having salt buildups or if shes getting too little water etc. Really forgiving medium and very conducive to quality results, especially for new growers who want to smother and love their plants as much as possible.
Free hand, it does have a tri pod but I never use it. I have a jewellery scope too but my hand isn't steady enough and I end up getting it sticky haha. My lens
Ah ok sorry your seedling looks about the right size then.
Have you tried measuring the lux at the seedling? There s an app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.doggoapps.luxlight
That does a pretty good job at least on my phone. You're looking for about 5000 lux at the seedling at the moment.

I use two of these fans for a grow box the size of a bar fridge and it works great. USB powered and has three speed settings
You can then combine it with this 3D printed filter to reduce odour
I use this.
Well, fill the bowl with weed light that bitch and smoke it!! I find the holes to be a bit large on glass cone pieces, maybe I grind it too fine but either way it falls through the hole. You can cut a bit of steel screen (steel screens can be bought from any smoke shop) or a glass daisy bead, which makes the hole a bit smaller :)
50/50 mix of BHO & RSO. Not doable for everyone, so next best option is MCT. Your emulsifier is the most important part, and you have to get a very specific type of lecithin. Not soy, not granules, not powder, you need liquid sunflower lecithin. Can buy it on amazon - https://www.amazon.com.au/NOW-Foods-Sunflower-Liquid-Lecithin/dp/B00J8ET8IO
MCT, and the type of lecithin matters. Granules - no. Soy - no. You want "liquid sunflower lecithin". Can buy it on amazon - https://www.amazon.com.au/NOW-Foods-Sunflower-Liquid-Lecithin/dp/B00J8ET8IO

The lecithin is the most important bit. Once you get that right, doesn't really matter whether it's coconut or mct, but mct is still better.
just my good ol' iPhone 11 Pro which honestly brought back my love of filming shit and taking pics, since i can't afford a really really solid camera just yet
i used the macro lens in this 3-pack
i'll throw up a quick video for you of that same weed, also check out this moth i found the other day it looked wild up close
...
alrighty homie just finished putting it together enjoy! https://youtu.be/4S8JTmwm9wM
ps. the moth and the weed were never near each other hahaha
I sent QB an email asking if they have them with AU sockets and have been contemplating using a 240v adapter. I emailed Niwa also who have a new-ish grow hub out, they said they'll add au sockets eventually & looks to be a cheaper version of the trolmasters.
Don't bother with a loupe just get one of these; 2K Digital Microscope from amazon
As for the plant it looks like you've still got a way to go, at least a week. Take the breeder time frame with a grain of salt as they can vary. Keep checking it and you'll be fine 👌
I bought these Ezebesta 10 Pack Square Compost Bin Filters for Bamboozle Spare Activated Carbon Filter Sheets for Indoor Kitchen Compost Bucket Countertop and Recycle Bin (5 Inches) https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09F6793ST/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_W30550MK4PCE285HF90H?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 Jammed them between the ones I’m not useing and pulled em right, tbh they just showed up one day after an impulse shop and they’ve come in handy
Well that’s not necessarily true in my experience. I’ve had bud that an Oz would barely fit in two of those bags, and other bud that would barely fill about 3/4 of one of those bags. Density of cannabis can vary a shit ton, so makes eyeballing stuff extremely hard.
I’d just recommend a scale obviously, but in addition to that buy a hygrometer. The hygrometer will tell you if the bud is still too wet or too dry. You’d want the bud to be around 58-62 relative humidity in a closed jar at room temp. You can pick up both on Amazon for $20 total and it’ll take the guess work out of it completely.
These are the hygrometers I use linked below, they’re $5 on Amazon. Highly recommend. You can pick up some bovedas or integra boost packs, and or a hydrostone to help regulate or fix most moisture issues. If the bud is too dry then put in a fresh pack, if it’s too wet throw in a dry hydrostone, and it’ll soak out some of the excess moisture.
In the US I almost never get wet weed anymore. It was pretty common when I was buying 10-15 years ago, but now a days if it’s anything it’s way too dry. Both are bad and can cause the cannabinoids and terpenes to degrade way faster than one might think. Even under ideal storage conditions THC loss is around 15-20% after just one year. It’s way higher if the bud is too dry or wet.
I get your point, and don’t mean to be an asshole with my comment. Just wanted to share some additional info pertaining to the topic that’s all. All love for my Australian BUDdies

Got my seeds from them Monday. Don't know if the seeds are good haven't germinated yet. It may be my fault they haven't germinated, first time growing, so not going to leave a review or email them.
People saying in review's there seeds not good.
I will be ordering somewhere else next time.
They removed the link to the reviews from there site lol. Look at how they respond to reviews.
Ps I’ve got a little set (almost toy level). They say 30x. but I am gonna get something like this which is $20 and up x120. Just not gonna buy it from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com.au/Carson-MicroBrite-Lighted-Pocket-Microscope/dp/B00LAX52IQ/ref=asc_df_B00LAX52IQ/?tag=googleshopdsk-22&linkCode=df0&hvadid=341792345759&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15096995615303443216&hvpone=&hvptwo...
You wouldn't need this big for one or 2 plants hun. But Mars Hydro has these 2 in 1 tents. You could have a veg and flower going at once.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CSBYPGM?tag=coa_row-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 seemed to be the common advice.
Oh - and I could use some seed starters. Saw these but reviews are mixed. Anyone use them?
For four nice big plants with room for humidifier , stand up fan etc I’d go something like this, lights dim able and when you expand you can daisy chain. This wattage will get you nice deep penetration and good yield. MARS HYDRO TS 3000W LED Grow Light & 4x4ft Grow Tent Kit, Large Commercial Grow Lighting Daisy Chain Dimmable Full Spectrum Plant Growing Light IR Sunlike Led Grow Lamps for Hydroponic Greenhouse Veg https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08KVWGG5P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_wkp7Fb9BGF6WV
Plenty of videos online for growers who use the same concept. Good for small tents, can’t confirm or deny the effectiveness of them but they definitely make co2.
Just google diy co2 generator.
Going to leave it for a week or so and then upgrade the bottle sizes and add an additional clean water bottle so I can easily see how many bubbles are going through
What about something like this?" https://www.amazon.com.au/Phlizon-Thermometer-Humidity-Adjustable-Spectrum/dp/B0752CL6KJ/ref=sr_1_5?crid=1IJWEWUTLAIRF&dchild=1&keywords=ufo+grow+light&qid=1603419444&sprefix=ufo+%2Caps%2C324&sr=8-5
How important is it to have a switch from veg to flower? And the fact that it's full spectrum is that a big plus? God so many variables haha
Is there any reason I can't use USB PC fans, into the power board, for airflow?
i used this for my last grow, turned out really well:
I stored it in this in my garage. No idea how it got moldy. Should I put it in a plastic bag inside of the container maybe?
