If you're just looking to hold yourself over for the official dock, just get a cheap stand and pair it with whatever USB-C dock you want.
I say "cheap stand", but the one I linked was actually pretty hard to find. Most stands aren't made to support devices as thick as the Neo, and those that are often don't support cable routing of any kind. This one not only supports it, but allows the cables to already be plugged in when you stand the Neo. Seems like that's about the least amount of fiddling you can get with this setup.
Games that have Steam Cloud should sync automatically. Most other store launchers have cloud saves as well
Alternatively, you can use a tool called ludusavi to backup/transfer the saves:
Those buttons simulate keyboard inputs. So you could remap them, but you'd be remapping ALL keyboards using that function. So you could rebind Escape to something else, but then you have no Escape key on any keyboard you connect. Just something to keep in mind.
Windows PowerToys has a good remapping function, or you can use something like SharpKeys to make permanent changes if you don't want to rely on a background process always running.
I've been using this dock because it has a detachable cable. Being able to swap out and adjust the cable length has been useful, but I do wish that there were more short right-angle cables around. So far, I've used the Dock with my Aya Neo Air Pro, Steam Deck, Android tablet, and laptop, with no issues.
I have the original jsaux dock, and the one problem is that the cable that connects to the device is too short for my Aya Neo Air Pro. If it's too short for the Aya Neo, it's almost definitely too short for the Aya Neo 2. Maybe it's better for the dock w/ SSD, but I have my doubts.
My solution was to get a dock with a detachable cable so that I could swap out the short cable with a longer one. I bought this dock w/ detachable cable for the Steam Deck, and it works great with my Aya Neo Air Pro and Steam Deck. I expect it'd also work on the Aya Neo 2.

it exists, but you are probably correct in that they aren't being made anymore
I use these geekshare covers
Just about anything that says it is compatible with Switch JoyCon will work on the Air's sticks.
I did think the thumbsticks were not so great at first (I play stuff like twin stick shooters or metroidvanias that sometimes require precision aiming.) What somewhat worked for me are these pokemon ball thumb tick covers I originally bought for my switch. They add a bit of height and grip to the thumb sticks and they feel a lot better to use now.
Here's a link to the ones I bought if you want to check them out.
what about a screen protector for ayn odin? they are both similar . i will order one and try it screen protector
If you don't mind headphones or IEMs my suggestion is to buy the Apple type C dongle and the Salnotes Zero. Together they are both under 30USD

Nice. Looks decent and much better quality for the price compared to anything similar on Amazon. I got this one for cheap and that seems to work but might try and get a hold of one of these units. Will be a much cleaner setup.

For the keyboard: use Aya Space or my ReplaceOSK script. Alternatively, a native Bluetooth keyboard app will work without an extra device.
Not exactly what you're looking for, but I bought this 65w battery pack to keep my neo juiced while on the go- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JV4W4NY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_image?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It doesn't get hot at all. And it can keep you going for a long time. It is heavy and rather large, but it feels safe.
For my Ayaneo, I generally only play games using battery power. I then charge it using the original charger on the official dock. I never notice my charger getting hot. For on the go use we bough an Anker 100W charger + a 100W Anker cable like the one you have.
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerPort-Charger-Ultra-Powerful-Included/dp/B09B33D76V/
And we also have a 100W charging capable battery pack from Anker for when it's needed away from AC power.
About the temperature you are noticing. If you can still touch the brick, there is nothing to worry about. Another thing to keep in mind is that however hot it's getting is probably nothing compared to how hot some "thin and light" gaming laptops get.... We returned a Dell G15 because the surface temperature at the top of the keyboard (Surface not internal) was sitting at above 160* F while gaming and I was worried that one of my kids would get burned touching it.
I had exact same issue with mine. I used these springs from PS4 remote to fix it. They are slightly shorter than original springs but it seems to be holding up for a few weeks now. I just got my replacement trigger from AYANEO but I might use this one until it dies again. It works but it is slightly weaker spring compared to left trigger now.

I think Samsung chargers use PPS for 25watts and above.
I see below that you found something that works :)
For anyone else seeing this, make sure whatever you get has 65 watts of PowerDelivery (PD), it is the name of a technical standard, not just a generic statement.
I personally have that ridiculous 130watt Razer GaN charger.
Anker has some pretty good stuff, too.
Might be overkill for charging just the AyaNeo, but this would replace 3 or 4 separate chargers at once :) Charging phone/tablet and AyaNeo at the same time from one plug is nice.
You'll need at least 65 watt PD output.
Then, depending on your budget and needs/wants:
- do you want to charge a phone or tablet at the same time?
- how fast do you want to recharge the battery?
- what capacity do you need/want? form factor?
This one looks pretty good:
https://www.amazon.com/30000mah-Baseus-Portable-Charger-Charging/dp/B08JV4W4NY
There are tradeoffs at each price point, and if there are no tradeoffs, then the price point itself is the trade off :P
Whatever you choose, be sure to carefully examine the output charts so you know which port is capable of what modes. For example, a 65watt output USB-C port might drop down to 45 watts if you plug in a USB-A at the same time.
I have an Anker PowerCore Elite III 26k 87watt (which is 130 USD), but I can charge my phone and ayaneo at the same time. I can also use it to charge my work laptop, and it takes 100watts in, so charging back up only takes a couple of hours.
I have the big hard case from Aya and its amazing but after some time it felt bulky when travelling so I got the smallest Tomtoc sling bag, less protection as its soft but amazing and takes the Anker 87w power bank with the device along with an external SSD, wireless earbuds and small accessories.
100watt input if you have a 100w pd charger. Otherwise, the BaseUS seems to be a pretty good value.

No matter which one you get, be sure check the documentation to ensure you are connecting to the correct port or if there any buttons to press.
For the Anker, I put it in trickle charge mode and then plug it in to the Aya Neo, otherwise the battery will *take* from the Aya Neo.
I use this one it’s not the cheapest but works in game mode, balance, battery saver and custom power settings

This is what I've been using for the last six months. It comes with a USB-C to C short cable that you can store in the unit itself, and a built-in wall plug. It's honestly all I even need to charge anything with USB-C, and it has a USB-A for everything else you might want to charge. In my opinion, this is the perfect charging brick/portable power bank. I would recommend one of these for everyone with USB-C PD demands. It appears to only be $50 at the moment as well :)
This is the one I use. It charges at 65w and can feed the AYA up to 65w . Very fast charging both ways.

This is what I use, but any USB C PD charger that does 20v 65 watts should exceed the aya neos requirements
I don't believe it would have enough output if your going to be playing while in the car. If your going to just plug it in it will slow charge but I bought this for charging while playing.

They aren't readily available and by definition of c to c there must be a basic power (5-20V, 3A) like I said above. I know you are trying to be helpful but answers like yours cause people to other think a very basic purchase. Any reputable vendor will have certified c to c cables that pass power. Due to how 99.5% electronics work with C to C they MUST be able pass power. For an average consumer to possibly find one without power in 2022 would either be a defect, uncertified cables or a rare cable for a very particular IT use that my IT guy cannot find a reason for, just walking into bestbuy (dont cables are the highest marked up item in their inventory) or buy off of amazon. Passing on this information is like passing cafeteria rumors and causing consumer doubt. I am sitting next to my IT guy right now and this causes him the biggest headache. My IT guys says go with Anker, everything at our FC is Anker.10 footer, he says this will give you length you need.
I tried velcro strips, but there was always play in the grips I didnt like, even though I wasnt worried about the grips coming off. they just werent stable.
been almost a week, grips are rock solid and the neo still fits in the dock with 0 issues.

I happened to have some of this tape already cause i use it around the house for various small things. its a bit gimmicky sure, but it worked like a charm for the grips.
I've been contemplating using that really thin velcro, because the with the grips on it doesn't fit in the case. Something like https://smile.amazon.com/VELCRO-Brand-Fasteners-Perfect-4in-Tape/dp/B0013AIAQ2/ref=sr\_1\_1\_sspa?crid=12X7O1HRTXL0K&keywords=thin%2Bvelcro&qid=1644877657&sprefix=thin%2Bvelcro%2Caps%2C174&sr=8-1-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlm...
I'd like to help you, I can find my way around Ayaspace but I don't fully understand your question.
I don't mean to offend. If English is not your native language try a translator like DeepL. https://www.deepl.com/translator
IPA = Isopropyl alcohol. It's a solvent that's very good for cleaning off various adhesives and such in electronics. You can get it from any general pharmacy.
Any modern M.2 laptop wifi card should be compatible (the Neo is basically a small gaming laptop packed into a handheld form factor). This is the one I used: https://www.amazon.com/OKN-Module-2400Mbps-Support-Windows10/dp/B07SH6GV5S/
You don't have to be super technically knowledgeable to do this. If you've replaced the wifi card inside a laptop before, you have the skills for it. Just be patient and don't force things. (As the other commenter notes, you really don't want to be gentle on those antenna connectors).
I use this one by gorilla. it seems pretty good so far. I usually use 3m brand outdoor/indoor double stick tape. This one seems just as good, and doesnt seem to leave anything behind. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M7VCYFA?ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details&th=1
I bought this switch oled grip on amazon, I just double stick tape it to the back. its so comfortable now. I try the 3d printed grip, they are not as comfortable as these. it comes with 3 size. You can trim them if you have time and the skills for better fit. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J4HNJ57?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2\_dt\_b\_product\_details
You need a Power Delivery 3 charger. There are hundreds of them. I use this one and like it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08YJLMQGD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but anything that supports the PD3 spec will be fine
I bought a significantly smaller Anker unit. Mine came with a 10ft USB-C cable as well. Works great and packs/travels way better. My original charger stays plugged in at the side of my bed.

Not to be rude, but you're asking for more than Amazon even..... Anyway, good luck with sales!

Thank you so much for the reply.
So currently (as of December 2021), this means 2TB max, right? Like this one?
If I get an Aya Neo Pro, and that drive, how easy would it be to install it and restore the Windows install with Aya software, drivers etc? (aka factory state)
As near as folks in this sub have been able to tell, this case which is sold on Amazon is identical to the larger case sold on the Aya Neo Website: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B083XR9V3Q/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_asin\_title\_o00\_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Prior to the Steam Deck being announced I was planning on getting an Aya Neo to run Garuda Linux which would be amazing on this device. If I continue down that project though I don't think I'll be sharing it here and now there is doubt on whether I should buy one. https://garudalinux.org/
JoyToKey is ancient—for remapping controller functions to keyboard/mouse, AntiMicro is much better.
But I can assure you that's not how the extra buttons work. Xinput doesn't have arbitrary extra button functions to do whatever you want. They simulate keyboard presses. I already wrote software for it, and I have other experiments in the works (e.g. emulating analog triggers with digital).
The keyboard button sends Win + Ctrl + O. Task Manager sends Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Escape sends... well, Escape. Which is a pretty optimal solution, honestly. It's the only thing Aya could have done to work with the OS natively rather than require custom software.
>this stand
If anyone is still interested... I just got this from amazon Germany: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B07438NMTX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
Holds the Aya perfectly and the vent at the back is only partially covered (max. 20%).
It'll work, but it depends on what you want out of it. Since the Win 3 has an SD card slot, there's no slot on the dock, for example.
Personally, I just made my own dock with this stand, a generic USB-C hub, and a cable tie to keep it in place. Cheap, flexible, and fits perfectly. (Also fits the Win 3, interestingly enough.)
I was amazoning around and found a chip like this
https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B07T7HSVDH
and maybe... I can connect it to a few buttons/paddles and hide the whole thing in a 3d printed grip? The keycode seem to be programmable.
Yes, it's an M.2 2230 SSD - this is what it looks like without the EMI (or whatever) shield that was on it. On r/steamdeck there is some debate about what that shield is, but the engineer mentioned the interference with the radios and so some people think it's likely for electromagnetic shielding, and that likely it can be pulled off the old SSD and put on the new one.
I have been using this power bank with my 1st batch neo. works well.
https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Baseus-20000mAh-Charging/dp/B08THCNNCS
I even play games with the power bank plugged in so that the power is used up by the power bank instead of the battery. Reducing the ayaneo TDP to ten watts, I can get another two to three hours of additional game play.
I use this one with a different brand on it, works great.

I think I made a mistake then because I did pay for an Aya neo on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Latest-Update-1-5-Version-512GB-Handheld-Console/dp/B0992D5JM9/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?crid=2K9NVN31VC964&dchild=1&keywords=aya+neo&qid=1631369715&sprefix=aya+Neo&sr=8-4
I ordered through them because customs in my country are messy, and because of the value of the item, price would inflate a lot, so I ordered through a company that takes care of customs and everything for you, and give a price including everything.
