Yes but it's quite tedious especially if you recently switched: https://github.com/bakkesmodorg/BakkesMod2-Plugins/issues/2#issuecomment-847534855
Basically after one of bakkesmod's updates it wouldn't detect and inject itself into rl when run with proton. Therefore someone wrote a program to so do, which the guide uses. If you want you can follow the guide and compile it youself if not I uploaded my inject.exe
Keep in mind if you're using a different proton version it would result in different file paths so you'd have to change it accordingly. For example I used Proton-5.9-GE-8-ST rather than Proton-6.8-GE-2.
The path of the script at the end of guide used to launch bakkesmod can be added to the manual script option in lutris so you can just use the execute script button in lutris rather than using the command line every time.
To update bakkesmod in the event rl gets an update later on, you'd need to run just the second line from the script (the command to run bakkesmod in proton and not the one to inject it) which launches the bakkesmod gui which will prompt you to update. You may need to run the line without the WINEESYNC=1
at the start.
Its a bit of a hassle to setup and not the usual experience you'd come across but once its done its easy to use.
it's great that you used G2A and everything works fine.
If you're happy with shopping at G2A and you have a free moment, we'd be super glad if you dropped by and gave us a rating on <strong>Trustpilot</strong> - (just like Mario we are collecting stars). If not, please share with me any feedback you might have to improve the quality of your shopping.
Thank you!
Remove it from your Registry. You can find it setup here: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
