My recommendation for V2 is using a Raspberry Pi fan. Raspberry Pi Fan Amazon I feel like all you need is just SOME kind of airflow and you'll be all set.
I used a led strip like
Paired with a esp32 (basicly a faster arduino since a normal arduino was a little slow)
Not OP, but I have 2 hooks up in the ceiling like these and then use this kit with it. It works effin great.
Every single one of my charts have a hard difficulty, even a normal if it’s too tough and you wanna skill yourself up. (TTFAF does not tho as it was my first chart). I made Beat it and Clint Eastwood in your list so you may enjoy my others too :)
Anything in the left column with a dark green block has all difficulties released, and a download link attatched.

:)
ChromaToggle uses On-The-Fly manipulation of existing maps. They're general purpose rules, and custom gamemodes can be fully modified to your hearts content. Here's the XML File for Unicorn Saber, for example.
Basically, the player can do whatever the hell they want with it. However, certain features, especially Head Sabers, will not be available until the player goes through some specific procedures. These procedures involve reading a safety warning, and entering a special key that you can only find in the safety warning.
I purchased these off amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Handles-Gamepad-Controllers-No-Operating-System/dp/B07M9JJTBM but ended up returning them. They worked as advertised, but it was murder on the wrists and you'd 100% cause long-term damage playing that way over the long-term.
Even using the math from the old version of Beat Saber where max hit was 110 the max score for a 731 note song is 636,350.
Your SSS is a display bug.
Personally, the "haven't played in a while" part happened to me a lot before setting myself up with some cable management like seen here as well as expanding my play space slightly.
Feeling the cable tensing up behind the head or hitting random stuff irl whilst being in VR were huge reasons in me giving it up and not picking it back.
But now I play more often at least, also beating the motion sickness in blade and sorcery slowly but surely
I found the app on google play for web. Here's the link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.TempStudio.beatNinja .
If you want punk rock, check out maps by ‘DownyCat’. He’s got your green day and more there.
I’ve personally started mapping some AC/DC, and rock is definitely something I’m pushing more I’ve just been very busy with other projects. You can see all the songs I’ll eventually bring to the game here
All my maps from a certain point onwards have been charted with all difficulties and I plan to continue this going forward, I currently have 9 of them.
You can see them on my trello, which also have the download links attached: https://trello.com/b/asfLEO9X/freeek-beat-saber-customs
Anyone that’s tagged with the standard green tag indicate ‘finished song that’s been released with all difficulties’ so just look for the medium green colour tag.
SS requires greater than 90% of total possible score, SSS requires exactly 100%.
Here is an annotated screenshot of the game's source code.
And just for laughs here is a calculator I whipped up to help you see what you need to get what scores.
/u/wicked_ro /u/Victor4X The counter mod's score percentage function is indeed quite inaccurate. The more notes you hit the more accurate it becomes. At the very start of the map it is horrifically inaccurate.
You can use this Desmos calculator I whipped up to find this info and more if you like!
Also yes, Satan is over the max possible score on Lvl Insane.
If your computer is capable, then any of the lower range WMR headsets would be fine. eg Lenovo Explorer, Acer, Dell.
You can find them on sale for 200 or less, just make sure the controllers are included, in fact, ACER is on sale on amazon right now for $178USD
Some would say the controller tracking on WMR headsets is problematic, but I recently got an S on Angel Voices expert with a Lenovo Explorer.

This guide is really useful, it explains a lot, combine it with this graph and you should have a complete understanding of how the pp system works.
The curve applied to your raw pp to calculate the net pp: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/jvap6rwekl
The parentheses vs non-parentheses is simple.
We refer to the number outside the parentheses as raw PP, and the number inside the parentheses as net PP.
Take my page for example. Notice on the first page, the number in the parentheses (raw PP) and the number outside parentheses (net PP) are the same. On the second song, the number in parentheses (net PP) is lower. On the third song, the net PP is lower than the raw PP, but by a larger amount. This is called weighting. The raw PP is the PP you earned from your performance on that map before weighting is taken into account. The net PP is the actual PP you gained from that performance.
How does weighting work, you ask? Well that's quite simple. For each performance, starting at your best, the performance below it is worth less. For example, your first performance is worth 100%, hence my Freedom Dive net and raw PP are the same. The second best performance is worth 95%, which is why the net PP is worth 5% less than the raw PP. Third is worth 90.25%, fourth is worth 85.7375%, etc.
I whipped up this desmos graph so you can view it in a more visual sense.
The complicated (and secret) part is the actual calculation of a map's difficulty, and how much PP it should reward per score. This algorithm is constantly being changed anyway, in an effort to constantly improve it.
Well, shit, don't do that. You want a firewall, you just want to pass exceptions through.
I use TinyWall which silently blocks everything unless I tell it not to.
I don't know what's going on with your system. Your connections should be consistent. Something is buggy, but at least you know it's not a beatsaber issue.
Yes, sorry about the confusion, it’s actually a newer version of the plugin then what you have installed. Just download it by clicking on that message and overwrite it with the one in your plugins folder and it should all work. AMVR glasses protector for quest 2 (whatever Amazon is in your country).

Otherwise I got tired of that and bought "VR optician" lenses. And that helped me relax more in beat Saber as I was not worried about jerking my head and damaging my lenses. There is a also a glasses spacer for the quest 2 in the box.
VR optician (make sure you know your IPD and glasses, can consult your optometrist. VR is fixed focus around 1.5m)
I usually wear one of these when I play Beat Saber with my OG Vive. Really helps keep the sweat out and off the headset.

Either get a new cable

Get a new graphics cars (Which are hella expensive right now)
or If you have an AMD Gpu try older driver versions because their driver are wack asf
Vive, the 14mm or whatever fake leather. Rift, get the interface replacement then there’s some cheap ass vive ones on amazon for 20 bucks that fit the rifts replacement interface.

Be warned they perma on the sensor to turn on the headset. I also wear bandannas. Helps a ton,
Well garbage is pretty subjective, but they give a very playable experience. I edited my post because that's closer to what I'm seeing at this exact moment on amazon. From a quick 10 second search...
Lenovo Explorer for $210 on Amazon
They go on sale very frequently though. Check buildapcsales. WMR headsets that aren't the Samsung Odyssey are all substantially similar except for styling so dont worry too much about which one ends up on sale.
After a year+ of foggy lenses I finally bout this diving mask “Spit” stuff from Amazon, put a BB sized drop on one lens and used a lens cleaning cloth to divide it between both lenses and haven’t had any fog now in two weeks playing 2 hour sessions of Beat Saber.
Just Add Water JAW1795 Jaws Spit Antifog Gel, 1-Ounce
I use default grip and have 3 solutions. One and two cost money and the last one is to look at how pros hold their controllers. Now for option 1 and 2. I have bought a custom strap from AMVR that helps me play infinitely better than without them. I highly recommend these ones as they are possibly the closest things to the feel of the knuckles for the valve index, but on rift s. Also come in blue and red straps which is extra cool: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07X117LPR/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_7JxxFbKEH89KZ If u wanna get ones that are a bit cheaper but also have a similar function here, they are from KIWI design, same company that make those silent cable pulleys to give you a wireless feel to your VR experience: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07XXZWKLG/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_oOxxFbVV23RH5 Again I cant think of any better ways to hold the controllers without the straps. They genuinely make your swings much better and especially the AMVR ones kinda balance out the weight a bit more, again increasing swing quality. If you need any more help please reply to this comment.
This is the cable I am using currently. The quest is a good headset and if this works then it's better than spending like $1000. There are shorter options for the cable if you want them. As long as you keep the cable around your headset or attached in some way where it can't break, it should work.
Also, if you haven't already, in the oculus vr pc app, go into settings, beta, and restart oculus. It's fixed random things for me in the past. Also, that this one's weird, but make sure both your controllers are at 100% battery. My link became unusable and it was because the right controller was at 30%.
Protip for rift and rift s.
You can buy an extention cable (like this one, and a hdmi repeater adapter). Put your cv1 cable in a backpack with a power bank….. and run the cheap easily replaceable extension cables accross the floor.

Although beat saber shouldn’t be an issue as there is no turning around
Yeah, Xyonico who's an admin with us at the modding Discord and is also the one who made the song loader (that probably almost every person that plays the game has) is the leading the project. The goal is to make an open editor that will easily be expandable with additional features down the road. It's in the early stages, but when release, it'll have full copy and paste (lighting included), variable BPM support and a whole lot of other features. If you have any feature requests, please add it to the Trello page here: https://trello.com/b/cvfsZXzi/new-beat-saber-editor
Sand it off, then use progressively finer sandpaper until you end up using a 1500 or 2000 grit, then go over it with a plastic restore finish for cars like this one.
Fellow Index user here, if you're going to be playing beat saber a lot, please invest in this, it makes such a huge difference
You can try questcast (it's a streaming app for twitch, YouTube, or OBS) although it is kinda buggy it wouldn't hurt to try right? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.panjava.streaming.casting.oculus.quest.twitch.youtube.questcast
Either use the claw grip or buy some third-party straps. For example, I use some AMVR straps with my controller. There are better one but these were found to cover less tracking points.
No problem. I just realized I put the same link twice, my bad. Here is the controller grip link. I haven’t used the wrist strap that is included with the controller since picking these sweet little numbers up. I felt I had a lot more control using these. Keep us updated on your progress.

I use this cable for when I play wired to my PC. When I want wireless I'll play the modded standalone quest store version (also good for playing at a friend's place) since airlink is ass.
These are the headphones I’m using in case that’s important Silensys E7 Active Noise Cancelling Headphones Bluetooth Headphones with Microphone Deep Bass Wireless Headphones Over Ear, Comfortable Protein Earpads, 30 Hours Playtime for Travel/Work, Purple https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09FXCV23L/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_6AFK5VR0ETPGT8KXZMWW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Oh, and if you would want a not as expensive link cable this one works good. It's the one I use about every day for at least 3 months already.
Do these not improve tracking?
It seems like they're an optional accessory for Rift S. I was under the impression that these would have improved tracking accuracy, though I wasn't sure if it had any impact in BS.
I forgot to mention in the original post as well, does Rift S etc. with a DP connection have better latency/lag compared to the USB-C on the Quest 2? Thanks for the reply.
There's the regular elite strap and the one with the battery.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09CZ4QV5S/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_A7KBJPF3N9H99ZF1C9MP
That's the one with the battery, kind of expensive but if you're definitely getting a strap and want an extra battery with no hassle (and the money to spare ofc) I think it's worth it.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P1N8LDQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_PRH05X5N1X688MQV4JAJ
This is just the battery bank, it fits on the base strap and the Kiwi elite strap (may work on the regular elite strap by Oculus but I can't test)
Can't help you without the zip of the map. Actually you'll probably find better help in the #mapping-discussion channel of the BSMG Discord server: https://discord.com/invite/beatsabermods
Best thing I've found so far, for the Quest 2 I'm using lately:
https://www.amazon.com/KIWI-design-Controller-Accessories-Adjustable/dp/B09J8DJLLW?ref_=ast_sto_dp
Their extra length and girth gives me the perfect grip, plus the super solid and easy to adjust handstraps are the best design I've seen so far. and they even come with higher quality wrist straps
I got glove things that slide over the handle of the controller that actually strap the controller to my hand. Now I barely have to hold them at all and can focus more on how my hand, wrist or arms move rather than my grip. I haven't progressed passed hard levels yet, but it made a big difference!! controller grips
Im not sure if this is suppose to happen but adding the "-vrmode oculus" in the launch options just keeps bringing me to the beat saber store page on steam when I press play.
Yeah I have a 3m (~10ft) 3.1 gen 2 (supposingly) type c to type c cable (https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08FY28Z8F/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1), my mobo has a usb-c port, I just use that. I've set my oculus Quest to 120hz in the app, but performance doesn't really look that different to 90hz for beat saber at least.
I'm closing on 500 myself haha.
That's one of the reasons I made this mod. I'm entirely disinterested in the direction difficulty has gone - maps getting simply faster and more intense, but barely any more complicated.
CT is my solution to this, among other things. Not only does it have gamemodes that are simply hilarious, it also has a range of built in modes purposed to change the gameplay up and increase the difficulty, but in ways that aren't obnoxious.
And to boot, you can create custom gamemodes out of XML files! Here's an XML that doesn't change much, but adds powerups. You can see a lot of options you can mess with though (and this isn't even all of them).
If you are talking about converting videos: Handbrake
If you are talking about shortening / cutting videos: Lossless Cut
Both free.
Gratz on beating Logan.
Anywho, as for the actual question, you don't.
Using the calculator I made back in like version 0.9, the max score possible (without modifiers since they didn't exist at the time) for a song with 198 notes (from your screenshot) is 167,310.
Asking around in the Discord, Faster Song is 1.07x and Ghost Notes is 1.11x, and they stack additively. This could be wrong. I don't know anything about modifiers, I fucking hate them personally, so I haven't been keeping track of how they work and what their multipliers are. But assuming these values are correct, that means the max possible score for that song on that difficulty is 167,310 * (1 + 0.07 + 0.11) = 197,425.8
That means the #1 score is a cheated score. Which has happened before. Actually, it's happened before a lot.
I'm still trying to get the same trophy.
Use this. Adjust the number of notes to see the max score for the song you are attempting, multiply that number by .9 and that's the score you need for SS on that level.
As for levels, I'm closest on Legend (about 200 points off SS). Also find Beat Saber very doable and I know other people have had better luck with I need you.
Good luck.
I made a calculator for this ages ago. The built-in values are for the Expert
difficulty tracks, as the OST's didn't have Expert+
back then, but you can type any number into the n
field and it will show you a bunch of information!
SS requires 90% of the maximum score of the song.
Additional tips
For No Mistakes, you can use Slower Song Modifier and choose any 15 levels that you can manage. This includes additional game modes within Free Play like One Saber and No Arrows. I got 4 of the 15 needed for No Mistakes using Slower Song Modifier in the One Saber mode. In my experience, once you can get S Rank on any of the songs, getting Full Combo (if you don't already have it), is an easy follow-up by using Slower Song Modifier.
For Flawless, you need over 90% of max score possible. I found this as a reliable source for what the Max Score of each song is. From there you multiply by .9 and whatever the result, you need +1 or more points more than that for the SS Rank.
If interested in seeing video of how I have progressed on my path to Platinum including some of the Campaign Missions that initially found harder until I improved my skills, you can see my Beat Saber playlist on YouTube.
This is a third party strap, that some say has more value than the Meta Elite Strap at a fraction of the price.
Moral of the story, never buy official Quest accessories.

I bought this as they unscrew into single grips plus u can go darth maul style which is really difficult but feels like playing another game. Nice grips tho OP I’m in the U.K. too curious as to how much you would charge for a pair of these ?
It definitely can be done.
In SteamVR you can "mirror" the Rift audio to another playback device - the caveat is; you have to have the RIFT device set as the Windows default audio FIRST before running Beat Saber.
If you're bypassing Steam and using it via Oculus (command line switch) then you set up the option in Oculus that says "mirror to default window playback device" - then make sure your default device is your TV BEFORE running Beat Saber.
You can use a batch file to launch BeatSaber and flip the audio playback using something called NIRCMD.
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html
I can provide samples.
You can run one of many monitoring programs while the game is running for a bit, then minimize the game(while it is still running) and bring up the monitoring program to see what the temperatures are.
Give the temperatures in Celsius if you could!
If you are seeing either over 85-90C, then something is probably up. It isn't uncommon for GPUs to run perfectly happily at 80-85C, even if they get much hotter, they just clock down until they are in that range. CPUs on the other hand do not like to be over 90C really. That is super pushing the envelope. At around 100-115C you are looking at your processor possibly getting damaged and almost certainly shutting off due to temperature protections kicking in.
HWMonitor is accurate, free, and from a trustworthy source. You could use that or any others. RealTemp is another one that is pretty good, but it might take a little fiddling in the settings to get the GPU temp to show.
The main things you want to read concerning your temperatures: CPU temp., GPU temp., and if there is any other GPU temperature information--memory, power controllers, etc.
My thought is that your temps are getting too high on either the GPU or the CPU and one of them is throttling which is eating at your performance. The likely cause is dust, especially if you've never cleaned out the heatsinks and fans. Dust will get caked in there which will decrease your cooling efficiency considerably. If you don't feel comfortable following a youtube guide on how to disassemble your laptop to clean it, you could take it to a technician somewhere to do it for a reasonable price I'm sure.
You won't get in trouble, but it can be VERY VERY frustrating to spend a ton of time producing a video only to have it struck down, loaded with ads or you are forced to mute part of your medley because Song 4 of 6 is outlawed.
Vimeo has very loose copyright strikes. https://bittubers.com/ seems to be another possible home.
I've used both in the past to bypass the nonsense with youTube.
You didn't mention what tool or version you're using.
I recommend a tool called EVERYTHING (www.voidtools.com) ... you can use Windows built in search too, but Everything is something you can use every day that is faster and better.
Anyway, search your PC for info.dat and/or info.json .. one of those will hit your custom map folders.
not enjoying the cloud storage download experience, clicked download for each file, very slow progress, returned 12 hrs later to find both files on 98% and ......................

gutted. never mind. looking forward to having the playlist. many thanks.

p.s. uloz.to is a great free online locker
scrcpy lets you view and control Android devices (like that HMD apparently) over USB or the network. It was probably running on the laptop in the bottom half of the video: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy
It might be a limitation of Chromecast (which is what many people use, I'm not sure). You can get the delay to be pretty minimal with a fast wireless router though (I think the average person who uses it just doesn't know the difference between things like 5 GHZ vs 2.4, Wireless AC, etc.)
If you hook up a PC or laptop to your TV, you can use https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy and I believe people can wirelessly get that down to only around 45 ms delay
The fun thing about Beat Saber being written with Unity is that there are free tools (e.g. dnSpy) that make it pretty simple to take the game apart and see how it works.
The class that manages the energy is called GameEnergyCounter, and is part of Assembly-CSharp.dll. You can also find all the parameters in there.
In particular, in a game without modifications:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Beat Saber
, Oculus will be different)Beat Saber_Data
, then Managed
. You should see a bunch of DLL files.Main.dll
, and drag it in to the left side of ILSpy.Main
with version 0.0.0.0
and .NET framework, v4.0
).-
(global) namespace, so double click that to expand.GameEnergyCounter
.I make them manually (it's just simple JSON), but to ease this task there's a number of tools.
Elliott summarised them recently here: https://www.notion.so/beastsaber/Playlist-Creation-Tools-0a5eb9bf57d84426a0a26fd5ee329210
I'm a bit lost.
The Beat Drop 2 tutorial says I need to install "Mod installer" first, and links to a tutorial on Beast Saber. But the tutorial is for modsaber, everything in that tutorial is struck through (crossed out), and the way it is worded makes it sound like the patched modsaberinstaller is supposed to be a temporary fix until Beat Drop 2 comes out...
I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
Hmm, really odd. Feel free to DM in the Discord and I can walk you through some stuff. Our new bplist file format is essentially the same as the .JSON file, it's just triggered to be handled by the modsaber installer instead. Feel free to just rename it to .json and use it like you did the other playlists. Here's a guide to playlists that might be helpful: https://www.notion.so/beastsaber/Playlists-BeatDrop-Tutorial-e3faf856c3b14b08a51190d8a65a033c
Thanks so much for the feedback!! I'm VERY aware of some of these things. I actually typed up an overview of that part in a "Site Project Status Report Here: https://www.notion.so/beastsaber/BEASTSABER-Current-Status-Summary-fdf87b5d76f742b8910a916d1af944b8
As amazing as our team is, we're still all feeling stretched thin with all that needs to be done. Would you be interested in helping with some of the UX UI work? Thanks!!
Originally, it was just a neck fan. After that, I tried a vent I found off Amazon. It works amazing! Amazon Link
Here are the things I've done/tried:
I'm kind of at a loss for what to try next. I basically can't even full-combo any Expert charts because of this and it's extremely demotivating and frustrating.
get yourself some grips with those strips so that the conteollers are fixed to your hand. i use these for example: https://www.amazon.de/AMVR-Controller-Oculus-Anti-Throw-Protective/dp/B07X117LPR/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=amvr+grips&qid=1619213110&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A2D6EGLHHW2L8K&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyUzJaNl...
Yeah summed up well, one thing I’ll add is I just got these knuckle straps and they make playing half life alyx feel so much better.
this is the one I got but it might be worth looking more because the adapter doesn’t transfer the microphone (at least I think that’s why it doesn’t work for me) so you have to use a separate mic.
I feel like these would be okay for a boxing VR game at the very least

This AMVR one for quest: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07X117LPR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_KAWNR5F212JWF6NRSWTC
Really any that have that strap on the side helps. I keep a really loose grip on my controllers now and that gives them the most free range of motion.
I usually wear wrist support of some sort. Either just like a stretchy cloth wrap or something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JBJYVY5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_4T36TWAJMS6VWTM4P7SH.
You can also focus more on using your arms instead of your wrists.
Np. You're looking at the quest 2, which is oculus's standalone VR headset. Which means it is wireless and doesn't need a PC or console to run games, it runs everything off a cpu in the headset. The Oculus rift S on the other hand is a PC only VR headset which is wired to your PC, but you get better graphics and comfortability. You can also get a pulley system to make your experience essentially wireless.
You get better graphics on the rift s since you have an entire dedicated gaming rig working on producing the graphics compared to a small cpu in the quest 2. There's ways to connect your quest 2 to your PC using a cable (which you must pay for) or wirelessly over good wifi but there's some latency issues and the graphics don't look as good running it natively off a PC using a rift s.
Ouups sorry spelt them wrong: AMVR Beat Saber handles.
Here's a link. But look for them based on Quest or Quest 2.
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07T1MSK8J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_O9e3FbR6JEFHQ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It'll solve the latency. Compression is still visible with default settings, so you'll want to spend some time adjusting those to see what your PC can handle.
I'm using a 10 foot USB 3 Anker cable with a 16 foot CableCreation USB 3 active extender for a total of 26 feet of cable for half the price of the official link cable (although the official cable is a bit thinner and lighter if that matters to you).
Not sure what headset you're using, but my husband found some silicone gasket covers for our Index on Amazon. It took a little getting used to, but it keeps us from sweating into the pads and ruining them. I have a Quest 1 and I love it, but to be honest I can't recommend the Quest 1 over the 2, the 2 it's just way too good. But well, if you want to use it mainly for Link (PCVR) it could be a good option (I use it for both). Just try to go for a Quest 2 and if it's imposible just go for the 1, it's technically obsolete but it's still a really good VR headset.
Also for PCVR I really recommend the 2 m Anker cable + 5 m CableCreation extention, it's 7 m, the quality is really good and it's way cheaper than the official Link cable, here are the links for you to check it out:
get some hand straps, like the mamut vr grips (I have these), or the kiwi straps on amazon (not used these but reviews seem ok?). This emulates the valve knuckles controllers so you don't have to death-grip the controller for hours.
If you can spend a few bucks, you can get locking wiimote straps on amazon or eBay. I picked up a 10 pack and gave a few to my brother for his WMR controllers and they work great.
2 sensors is good enough for 360° tracking, I played killer instinct and robo recall with only 2 sensors as well as other games that benefited off 360 tracking, if you have them placed on your desk you will not be able to get 360° tracking so make sure you put them high up on your wall facing down towards you to get the best tracking, amazon sells mounts to hang up your sensors without damaging your wall
I have this green screen from Amazon and 2x these lights.
I have two hooks in my ceiling I hang it from so I don't have to bother with the stand every time I put it up :)
Make sure to read the README for Mod Assistant! That might help you get things set up.
Also, I highly recommend getting Wii Remote style straps for your touch controllers off Amazon, and also buying small springs from Ace Hardware and putting them in the negative side of your controllers. It will increase your tracking consistency tremendously.
Here's a video. You don't need to buy Wii Remote straps and tie them like this anymore as there are ones specifically made for touch controllers. I'll link the Amazon link too.

Keeps the battery door from slipping off and you can relax your hands without dropping the controllers.
It is possible with an Android phone using this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.sisik.hackendebug and you can follow this guide: https://github.com/the-expanse/SideQuest/wiki/Installing-with-a-Mobile-Phone if you don't have an Android phone, you're going to need a PC.
VRHealth from the VR Institute has also been coming along swimmingly and I'll never not take a chance to pimp them out:

Rift S user here. I use the default grip method. The reason why is because there are custom AMVR grips that I have which help your play. The knuckle straps help you hold your controller in place allowing you to swing at a better quality. If you can afford them I would totally recommend buying them. I cant cope using the claw/inverted or any other method. I'll link them here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07X117LPR/ref=cm_sw_r_apa_i_xN1jFbDFPM6JR Also happy cake day!
I invested in this set of pullys on amazon. I mainly got them in preparation for the 360 levels although I cant believe I didn't get them sooner. Definitely worth the $16 in my opinion.

edit: I tried using hooks and rigging up a custom thing before but it was nothing compared these things. I ended up not using it almost as soon as made it.
Usb 3 is actually very sensitive about cable lengths, so you need something called an active cable
Plugable 5 Meter (16 Foot) USB 3.0 Active Extension Cable with AC Power Adapter and Back-Voltage Protection https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076C91NNB/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Vz1YDb082RN42
And yes, the usb cable carries tracking data
The Panic at the Disco cover was just one of an entire remake of the album by top stars:
Pink's cover of A Million Dreams is my favorite from the album.
For me it ended up being the onboard Usb controller (Usb 3). I ended up buying a pci-e Usb 3.1 (gen 2) card that has 4 ports. It has 2 separate USB 3.1 controllers on the board dedicated to 2 ports each. It pretty much eliminated lockups and lag. I run all 3 USB cables to the card. Most motherboards have only 1 controller for all the USB ports, and it just can't handle the bandwidth of the sensors and rift. I bought the card for approx $130 canadian on Amazon. Here is the link for the one I bought.
There's custom Queen songs available on beatsaver.com, but you can't play them on PSVR, because PSVR version has no mod support or support for custom songs. Plus, there's no Queen songs available in the base game. Go for a PC VR headset or Oculus Quest, as those can play custom songs and have mod support. I'm assuming you don't have a VR-ready PC, so I'd recommend getting an Oculus Quest, since you can play it untethered without needing a PC. You can get it here if you want. Hope this helps.
retractable ceiling cable management. under $20. works great. been using with my vive for over a year.
I put some zipties on my cable to make it catch in a specific spot, otherwise, works great out of the box.
I was hooked on soda a long time ago. If I had any suggestion for you at all it would be to get a water bottle like this
It keeps water cold for 24 hours - like ICE cold. It goes with me everywhere and chugging water, especially when playing beat saber feels and tastes so good.
Breaking the soda habit is NOT easy but I’ve never been happier with the switch. You’ll end up being able to tell the difference between crap water and awesome water too. Get a Brita filter :)
You shan’t regret it, promise.
Not sure if this is your only reason, but we have a box of alcohol wipes and stridex pads for exactly this purpose. We tried using those vr covers (https://www.amazon.com/VRCover-ocv01nf-Oculus-Rift-Cover/dp/B06Y6DC1R2 ) but I found that it was harder to get those clean because they held onto sweat whereas the sponge on the oculus dries super quickly after a swipe with an alcohol pad.

They also sell disposable face masks for VR specifically for things like conference demo booths and VR arcades, but generally my friends are more cool with playing after a quick sani wipedown even if the headset is still a little damp than putting those things on their face.
Going straight to SSD is a lot smoother. When your OS is installed on an SSD, your computer feels much faster. It's the upgrade that everybody should be focusing on instead of other not as great thinks like excessive RAM memory. It makes your computer have a really short boot time so it turns on and initializes quickly.
You could go hard disk first but only if that's the only way to stay in budget. With hard disks being cheap, get a good 1TB drive and then later, get a reasonably priced 250GB SSD This Crucial is good and clone your OS onto it. It'll feel like a major upgrade when you see the difference.
