They actually serve it at a little restaurant called Tony's Just A Bite in Blaine WA like 20 minutes south of my house (Blaine is a border town) so I've had it. First time I had it I was expecting plain ol' chili chili and was repulsed, but it grew on me. Anyway thanks a ton but I'm 2 hours north of Seattle just over the border.
I think there's too small of a sample size to make a definitive statement. And he's playing surprisingly well, but he's still 24th in receiving yards http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/player/_/stat/receiving/sort/receivingYards/year/2016/seasontype/2 .
> Even when they have shitty years, they're still drawing crowds
*hint for the downvoters: you'll have to scroll down quite a ways to find Cincinnati listed
Last 9/11 home opener was the 10th anniversary in 2011. We were underdogs against the Cowboys, but some wackiness later (14 point 4th quarter deficit, blocked punt TD, 50 yard game winning FG) and we had a classic Rex Ryan win-that-should-have-been-a-loss.
November in Cincinnati. In a word? Unpredictable. But with a heavy lean toward cold and rainy.
Here's a Weather link to the history of Cincinnati weather during the month of November.
OTA antenna? If you don't have one, get a decent one on amazon for like $30 (there are cheaper options too). I know it won't help you today, but it comes in handy when dtv goes out due to rain/snow or when there are contract disputes.
I'm not so sure about that. It's no secret that when they negotiated Marv's last extension, Lewis offered Mike Brown a deal that involved Lewis retiring in 2018 and handing the team over to Hue Jackson. Brown declined because he didn't want to guarantee the job to Hue in writing. There are articles about it here and here.
Hell, Marv was close to walking away back in 2010 after that disaster of a season. My point is, I wouldn't be surprised if Marv is just about done here and done with coaching in general.
Knee injury, Geoff Hobson wrote on his twitter
"Shipley injury looks bad. Knee in brace on crutches".
Not sure what to think after that, just bums me out the Bengals lose a fighter and good guy like Shipley to a tough injury.
So with it being the offseason and pre-draft, things can get a bit slow around here so I wanted to share a cool bengals-related item I picked up recently.
I think someone had posted a youtube link to the song on the record, but here it is again for those who missed it.
Obviously the song is goofy and dated as hell, but I am an avid record collector so I just had to add this to my collection. Here is the discogs entry for those curious
What odd/different Bengals merchandise do you all have? Post some pictures or descriptions!
One thing that Sky get right time after time across all their sports is picking superb analysts. They seem to have settled on a core team now and it's really working. Reynolds has been around for donkeys years and is really knowledgeable.
The thanksgiving games are the best when they all seem to lose the plot and have a full turkey dinner going on whilst the games are taking place - Cecil Martin normally carving it on screen during plays! Bizarre but true.
They have to be a bit more balanced and simplistic, as they need to cover all teams and be accessible to new-ish fans. We also don't talk about stats anywhere near as much as the US guys do.
Here's the Wikipedia article. Bear in mind that Sky don't cover all the international series games anymore, which is a crying shame as that should be their flagship stuff (the BBC cover it poorly).
> Wanton endangerment in the first degree is a class D felony. The felon would have to show a complete disregard for human life and endanger one or more persons life by their actions. The action would have to pose enough of a danger to someones life that it would not be difficult to perceive it as possibly fatal. The action must also be done with knowledge that the crime could indeed hurt someone but the felon proceeded regardless.

I wasn't familiar with the term so I hope I got this right. Sounds pretty bad.

Living in Canada not many of the Bengals games are on TV so I stumbled across this method on the NFL subreddit.
So basically the NFL offers every game live (in HD) for free to people in the Netherlands. Using Kepard you reroute your IP to the Netherlands and you can watch any game including RedZone. Kepard limits you to 30 minutes a day but you only need it to launch the GamePass app. Once it's loaded you should close Kepard to conserve your 30 minutes. It sounds a lot more complicated than it is!
Edit: I'm not 100% if it works for Thursday and Monday games now that I'm thinking about it. Guess we'll find out!
When I say shut down, I mean like what this article describes of Norman from last year. http://www.espn.com/blog/carolina-panthers/post/_/id/18133/panthers-on-whether-josh-norman-is-a-shutdown-corner-look-a-the-numbers?ex_cid=espnapi_public
No, but if you buy some orange, white and black acrylic paint you can do what I did and paint over this shirt I got on amazon. I just added little claws on the paws and changed the colors / added stripes. Took about 2 hours including letting different parts dry between coats

Yes, the name of the station is 700 WLW. You won't find any official radio stations that stream the game online as the NFL won't allow it.
You may try NFL GamePass or TuneIn, but I don't have experience with either of those. https://gamepass.nfl.com/ https://tunein.com/radio/sports/

What are you working on? I binged on Dark Souls for a while and now Skyrim is my evening relaxation.
Been using ExpressVPN and gamepass Europe for years. I use my pc with steam to throw the signal to my smart TV or amazon/apple box with the steam link app. You can also just use and HDMI cable from a laptop.
That’s the legit way. The pirate stream sites are option B if you don’t mind fighting through dead links, pop ups etc to find a good stream.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

It’s supposed to be the national game on CBS. If you live in one of the few spots that will be carrying the Raiders (I think it’s the Raiders) game just go with the IPVanish and laptop route. I live 150 miles from the stadium and do this quite frequently because WOWK has a hard-on for the Steelers most the time
Yes pretty much. Just run IPVanish before you pull up the CBS site or you will still get your local stream.
I signed up for it so long ago and don’t really pay attention to the bill but I’m thinking it’s around $10/mo.
I’m not sure if the FireTV version would work because certain apps can recognize a VPN (DraftKings/MLBTV) but I know for sure the laptop browser works.
Here is where NordVPN has servers. No Cincinnati.
Atlanta Buffalo Charlotte Chicago Dallas Denver Los Angeles Manassas Miami New York Phoenix Saint Louis Salt Lake City San Francisco Seattle
Here are some cheap knockoffs. The real ones are close to $2,500 so probably best to go knockoff
Get a VPN. I have ProtonVPN and it has an app for my Google TV even. I just connect to whatever city is showing the game (check ) and then launch the CBS or Fox app.
Now, ProtonVPN might not be the best choice for this. They don't have servers in most of the Midwest, in Baltimore, or in Tampa, which can be troublesome for several games. I can usually watch about 70% of the games at home, with the other 30% having me seek alternate means (a bar or a less-than-legal web stream).
Sounds like people missed the key word "legit" in your post. The only legitimate option to watch live, out-of-market games that aren't nationally televised while you are in the U.S. is NFL Sunday Ticket.
You have to actually have DirecTV service to get it, though if you live in an apartment building, condominium, or other residence that prohibits the installation of DirecTV you may be eligible to get a streaming only version of NFLST.
You can also subscribe to a VPN service and use TV maps to see what the television market is for each game and then connect to a VPN server in the market for the game you want to watch and then watch on CBS' or Fox's streaming app (if you have access to a cable subscription from a national provider). Note that not all VPN providers have servers in all markets. I use ProtonVPN but it doesn't have servers in Baltimore or Philadelphia, which are particularly problematic sometimes.
I pay for a legit VPN service (NordVPN or ExpressVPN) to make it look like I’m connecting from Germany. Then I pay for NFL Gamepass international, which lets you stream the games live.
It’s as legit as you can get for accessing out of market games.
Nice to meet you, fellow South Floridian! This exact issue gets my blood boiling every year. The NFL makes it so difficult to (legally) watch out of market games while MLB solved this like 10 years ago with their amazing product (except for them spelling Cincinnati as "Cincinnatti" in their PS4 app).
Here is what I do:
That's it. The only legal way to watch an out of market NFL game live is by subscribing to DirecTV and NFL Sunday Ticket. If you are a cord cutter, there is no legal way unless you live in an apartment or condo where the building prohibits DirecTV or it is otherwise unavailable and then the NFL lets you get NFL Sunday Ticket streaming only. You can also subscribe to NFL Game pass, but can't watch the game live.
It takes some fanagaling, but last season, I figured out the best value in terms of cost and video quality. You need 3 things
You only need the latter 2 if you're fine watching on a computer or using an HDMI cable hookup to a TV, but the Firestick has a way to download the gamepass app onto the TV if you don't wanna always have to pull out the laptop
It's far cheaper than Sunday Ticket, but more safer and more reliable than crackstreams. Plus, you can use the VPN for streaming services to open up new movie/show options, so it can pay for itself.
this is where I got mine.

> As for Harrison, he has certainly calmed down in recent years, but I think his situation earlier in his career was very similar to Burfict's.
The only thing that's similar are the fines and suspension. I'm not really defending Harrison here either because those same people in the old threads had a point (excluding wishing injuries). If he couldn't adapt to the rules then I'd want him out as well but he did. Also, I think there's a very clear difference between wanting to hurt somebody and wanting to injure them (quote by Harrison).
>Both have had plays, whether after the whistle or not, where they purposefully intended to injure another player. Because of this, I personally don't think you can say that one is worse than the other, and I'm sure that there were some Steelers fan who defended Harrison back then.
The problem I have with that is control. I'm not saying it's impossible for players to control themselves during play but the game is fast. To say that helmet to helmet hits are somehow just as bad as twisting ankles after a play is a bit misguided. I don't hate Burfict because of helmet to helmet hits or even when he hurt Bell. He can't really truly control stuff like that (especially when he doesn't understand the head contact rule lol). He CAN control what he does after the whistle though and he still does stupid shit. That's why I and many others hate him. If he never did idiotic things after plays I don't think we'd even be having this conversation (I mean who can forget this?).
He'd just be another defender with one or two helmet-to-helmet hits and a couple questionable low tackles, AKA any other defender in the NFL.
This is the stuff:
It's pricey online; you might be able to find it at Kroger/Fred Meyer affiliates.
Total yards, yes it was bad. But they were 18th in Yards/Attempt. Not great, but not much worse than average. Defensive performance is notoriously hard to rate in a holisitic sense, but data and context can certainly help us get closer than a gut feeling
Buy these spice packets instead and make it yourself with high quality beef;

Skyline literally manufacturer's these and I firmly believe it tastes just like the stuff at the restaurants.
Not sure if you have looked, but Covington/Newport right across the river might have some places to stay. Uber and AirBNB are both great (Uber is way way better than a taxi). There is also a trolley that crosses the river and is only $1/ride. Don't recall the name tho. I would highly recommend not staying out by the airport, Downtown is much better.

I believe there were ankle issues as well, the sports hernia was the tip of the iceberg. My point is, seems to be a history of the injuries that don't work out for us. I don't pay this close attention to other teams, maybe every fan base feels this way.
Normally you can get your feed going and then turn off the vpn and it will still run. I've used Kepard as a vpn service the last couple seasons and it's worked fine. I've checked on and I'll get like 9/down which isn't bad.
I get these, cheaper than buying in store.
EDIT: For me they are $2.69/pack in Kroger vs $2.14/pack on amazon
Yeah it's thin. Order some of this shit, follow the directions, and try it out. I recommend adding some hot sauce to the pot while cooking. Something not vinegary. Then when you are ready to eat it (usually poured over spaghetti with a mountain of shredded cheddar on top), put some Franks RedHot on it. (But then again I fucking love hot sauce so that may not be your bag. Just go for the Franks if you're luke-warm on it. Franks is also from Cincinnati -- though the company moved years ago. The OG Cincy chili parlors had Franks as a condiment. (Not Skyline! it's not OG and not synonymous with Cincinnati chili, it's just the biggest chain.)) Oyster crackers should be added to the plate as you eat it (like a delicious pie -- no twirling!). The crackers soak up the extra juice. Eat them when they are soggy. Perhaps with some added Franks. Fuck the cans of chili, btw. The spice packets plus your choice of ground beef are far superior. You can add chopped raw onions (between the chili and cheese) if you want, and/or beans. I don't really dig either, but with chili/spaghetti/cheese you've got a three-way. Add one of the others and it's a four-way "with beans" or "with onions". Add both of them and you've got yourself a five-way. Get drunk and have a fucking three-way, my friend. Or a four-way or five-way if that's your thing. It's like ambrosia and nectar had a baby.
I just hope no one gets hurt with all that D that's gonna be whipped out on Sunday. It's games like this one I really wish we had a healthy Vontaze Burfict.
Only UK stockist I could find is on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Chili-Orig-Recipe-Pack-24/dp/B008X8R8R4/, not sure I need 24 cans though.
Does anyone have a good recipe? My girlfriend might make me some if I ask nicely.
If you want my opinion, this is the way to do it:
This seller doesn't seem to ship internationally, but if you scour around, I'm sure you can find someone who does. The main point is that it's much cheaper to ship little envelopes of spice powder than the cans. You can use your own local water, ground beef, and tomato paste. :-)
700 miles checking in. Boom! Its a little pricy, but its like $3.50 a can back home so it isn't too bad.
