Amazon Black Friday Deal hunters - remember to make use of following resources to aid your shopping:
Install Keepa app on Chrome and see the lowest prices the item has been on sale for before you take the plunge. The keepa graph also gives you average prices, highest price, and much more.
Check camelcamelcamel.com for historical price data if you don’t use a Chrome browser. Remember you can also add price alerts for specific items you are after.
Use snoopowl.com to search all Black Friday deals on Amazon in seconds. You can also add keyword monitors and get an alert as soon as any matches are added on Amazon during the day.
There are two people creating these lists:
Vizio P series quantum 65’’ for 1400 through Costco is probably gonna be the best deal you’ll see.
Nw man nobody needs to know about thread counts until they're buying sheets.
Generally, look for 200-400 (anything over that tends to veer into pure marketing bs territory).
Spring mattresses you'll want a higher number to get the cool silky feel, if you have a memory foam mattress you actually want it on the lower 200 so the foam can "breathe" and you can avoid sweat stains.
If you don't want to go overboard looking for a luxe bedsheet try this for size: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NLLUMOE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
$5 off isn't a real sale but these sheets won't give you any trouble. I use them in my guest bedroom and have no complaints.
Highly recommend the Xiaomi Mai Gen 2/Roborock S50. Not only is it cheaper than the Roomba, it cleans better and more methodically. Check out the COMMENTS section here: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-robot-vacuum/
It is on amazon for $400 after a coupon now: https://smile.amazon.com/Roborock-Robotic-Connectivity-Navigating-Capacity/dp/B0792BWMV4
I have one and so far it has been amazing, it cleans thoroughly and has zero issues. The dust bin is always full when I empty it after the occasional cleaning, meaning it does its job really well. However, the company also does Facebook giveaways and promos - I got mine for $350 because of a discount code that I won by participating in a promo. For value AND efficiency, I really can't recommend this enough. But, do your own research as well - this is a big purchase. Don't just go with a Roomba because it's popular - the wirecutter article and comments, especially, are a good place to start reading.
$50 off the HyperX gaming headset at Amazon has me tempted... I'd probably jump on it if I hadn't already used Black Friday to buy a new phone.
been price tracking the headset for months and this is the first time it's gone on sale.
You are mistaken :)
I mod /r/consoledeals and have been keeping an eye on all game deals.
The Last of US Remastered (Digital Card) is for $22.99 at Amazon and $19.99 at Boxed Deal.
GTAV was being sold for $49.99 last week via eBay's antononline (Deal is over)
So if you need both games, go for the Amazon Bundle ;), if you need one game you should purchase this console.
Red Dead Redemption 2 (Xbox One) for $50 - $10 off w/ promo code BF20 = $40. Shipping is free. https://www.rakuten.com/shop/altatac/product/REDDEADREDEMPTION2-XBOXONE/?scid=af_linkshare&PublisherName=Slickdeals+LLC&ranMID=36342&ranEAID=lw9MynSeamY&ranSiteID=lw9MynSeamY-E2V_G3MixShP0LbsTPpBeA&siteID=lw9MynSeamY-E2V_G3MixS...
I think it'll be this one. Same brand as the 32" for $69.99, and temporarily had one in stock recently that was sold and shipped by Amazon, like the 32". We have no official info about it, though.
It's still a price drop for Amazon, just not nearly as extreme as they're claiming: http://camelcamelcamel.com/Instant-Pot-IP-DUO60-Programmable-Generation/product/B00FLYWNYQ?utm_campaign=chrome_ext&utm_source=&utm_medium=camelizer
Looked up same product on Amazon, then cameled it.
http://camelcamelcamel.com/Samsung-UN60J6200-60-Inch-1080p-Smart/product/B00U9U9AAM
Lowest price available on Amazon ever, so I'd hazard a guess that it's the lowest on Best Buy ever also.
Jet.com also looks like it has the same deal. Plus no taxes, free shipping and 15% off if it is your first purchase from them (promo code: 15NOW).
TN panels are older, but not obsolete. Like Psualx says, "Worse viewing angles, less color accuracy; generally faster refresh speeds, and higher res because they are cheaper to produce comparatively to VA and IPS panels (in ascending order of quality, TN < VA < IPS)"
Since OP didn't bother, here's the source: https://slickdeals.net/article/deal-guide/list-of-all-black-friday-tv-deals/
Too hard to say, I don't own a tv that big. I just hear they can be of less quality/reliability at such sizes (which is why people may go with projectors). It's your decision to make in the end. I did find another deal that may interest you though:
Costco Vizio 4K HDR TV for $729.99 -- This might be the Vizio E70-F3, which has a fairly decent rtings rating! It also has Dolby Vision which is nice.
I can’t personally, but there is a discussion on SD that might be helpful for you.
Amazon price matched this
Shark ION RV750 on sale for 220. Plus if it breaks or you dont care for it return to amazon. Kohls also has a black friday deal where you get 60$ kohls cash but its $250. It seems to be a better vacuum compared to the Roomba based on video reviews and its cheaper. Shark has a larger debris cartridge, 2 edge spinners ( roomba has one ) and seems to clean better since it bounces around more and doesnt move in straightlines like the roomba. Newer Shark ION has shit reviews so stick to the older one.
They advertise it like it’s a monthly cost, but in reality you have to pay $107.55 upfront. I’d be very wary of any company that expects you to pay 3 years upfront, especially one that has been pushing advertisements as hard as NordVPN has.
GooseVPN has a $5.19/mo plan with no annual upfront cost
Edit: If you prefer a better known brand and don’t mind paying annually, cyberghost is doing $63/yr.
StrongVPN is doing $52.49/yr.
IPVanish is $58.49/yr.
In any case, don’t let something as pedestrian as a VPN service try to take $100+ from you in a single transaction. It’s a saturated market, and consumers deserve better then to be bated into a Verizon Wireless style pricing scheme.
I'd wait! It was just on sale for much lower.
I spent the last week looking up TVs. I was just looking at that same TV a few days ago and almost pulled the trigger. I waited overnight and the next day it was back to this same price so I passed on it. I don't have any proof that shows the price, but I made this post over on slickdeals that has more stuff to it, but it was with these QLED tvs.
The 55" was for $699 everywhere. Best buy, Amazon, B&H, the Samsung site itself too. So this sale price they are showing, is not a real sale. In face I want to say the normal price was shown as the $1000 price it is now. I doubt it was a price mistake as it was priced the same way everywhere.
Anyways, I ended getting the Vizio P55-F1. Here is a comparison between the Samsung and Vizio. The Vizio has higher ratings on all categories they test and it is $200 cheaper. The main difference for gaming that you might want to look at is the input lag between the 2. Stats are typically a tiny bit better on the Samsung and almost twice as fast when HDR is involved. Even so, on the Vizio, the input lag isn't going to be major unless you are trying to be super competitive in which case you should be looking for a gaming monitor instead.
A pretty good deal going on at Best Buy right now. Even the limited edition Pokemon one's are discounted.
The refresh rate affects motion blurring/ghosting (lower hz results in more blur), and so for viewing settings with lots of motion (e.g., gaming and sports), you'll have a noticeably better experience with a higher refresh rate.
As mentioned in some other comments, the ms delay (or latency or display lag--all these terms refer to the same thing) is most important for gaming performance. Basically, ms delay refers to the amount of time between when you move the stick on your controller and when the movement shows up on your screen. There's nothing worse than playing on a screen with a lot of delay.
Old TVs have very low delay, but new ones can have considerable lag. Anything under 50ms is acceptable (in my opinion). Here's an article that compares lag among various TV and projector models: http://www.cnet.com/news/game-mode-on-cnet-tests-tvs-for-input-lag/
Hope that helps.
I was actually addressing the idea that there aren't good deals on Amazon for Black Friday. You have to look, and you have to evaluate carefully, but the level of competition (depending on the category) means some sellers are "racing to the bottom."
Regarding pricing, camelcamelcamel will tell you the entire price history of any item on Amazon, so you can always check to see whether a "sale price" is legit.
Fully loaded HP Spectre 13.3 4k 8th gen i7 16gb 512gb ssd for $1150
Deal came from the $250 off from HP, and then another ~$250 off from cardcash 16% off HP gift card deals + Ebates 10% off
Huge shout out to BornSupercharged over at slickdeals for the idea https://slickdeals.net/f/10917211-hp-spectre-x360-laptop-13-ae052nr-plus-refundable-3yr-warranty-ymmv-895?v=1&src=SearchBarV2
Costco has it for $529. Not nearly as an amazing deal but still $100 off.
Sorry for the shitty link. The URL has parentheses so I can't format.
Unfortunately retailers and manufacturers have realized that they can take advantage of consumer demand and for a long time now they manufacture models that are missing features, are way-off brands, and use substandard components. Buying a TV now on black Friday is considered a bad idea by most deal hounds in the know.
When you sign up, it should say that you will be charged $0.99 immediately, and $9.99 after the 3 months are up. You can cancel before then.
click here to ensure you’re on the $0.99 promotion page. This may not work for existing premium users.
Have you tried the Koss KSC32L Fitclips? $13 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DE8DB9C
Koss have a great reputation for sound quality value for money. I have two classic pairs and they are great.
The Fitclips are the budget pick on http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-wired-exercise-headphones/
If you live near a Micro Center they have a very good deal for $249
http://www.microcenter.com/product/470075/Aspire_ES1-572-37X2_156_Laptop_Computer_-_Midnight_Black
Only 4GB RAM, but is DDR3 (not 4) and has 2 RAM slots with 1 occupied, so you can harvest RAM from an older laptop or just buy more.
In-store pickup only
This has been my "baseline good deal" from Amazon, available all the time, $299:
Think this is the same thing on amazon for cheaper
AirPods are unlikely to go on sale (as they have had no trouble selling them).
fwiw, Here's the link to the EA Origins BF/CM sale, with previous expansion packs at 1/2 off, and bundles at 20% off. Check out the base game and pack bundles. :
https://www.origin.com/usa/en-us/store/browse?fq=price:on-sale&sort=rank%20desc

I recommend City Living and maybe Get Together. The bundles are less expensive than buying their packs individually.
Found this one on Groupon https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-cm-comfort-essentials-ebony-2-5-5-zone-ebonite-memory-foam-topper
By far the best TV Deal I see (in my opinion), is the VIZIO 50" Smart tv. I know you said you're not interested in a smart tv, but hear me out. It has a 240hz refresh rate, is one of Vizio's M-Class tv's, and was included in Cnet's Best of 2014 TV list. It'll be $499 (I believe) as Black Friday approaches and you can even snag it as early as Nov. 20th if you have early access buying. Puts all other tv's to shame in my opinon. Cnet 3rd one down^ Best Buy *Out of Stock atm, but will restock before Black Friday
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 has a top notch display - I would go so far as to claim the best display available in the $750-$1000 price point range, and it has decent hardware to back it up. There are several deals going on right now with Surface Pro 4's, including one at Groupon. More are bound to follow tomorrow (Cyber Monday!) The Groupon Surface Pro 4 has an i5 6th generation processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB SSD. You're going to lose out on a lot of raw horsepower from the Lenovo listed above - the Lenovo has a faster CPU, 4x the RAM, and 2x the SSD size, plus a 1TB drive in addition! But, the Surface Pro 4 will still run any Adobe application you want, has a much better screen (Microsoft reportedly hand-calibrates the screen on each individual Surface Pro 4 at the factory so the white-point is accurate), longer battery life, and weighs less than half what this laptop does. Personally I think neither is a perfect solution, but if you're serious about graphics EDITING and DESIGN, the Surface Pro 4 would be my bet at this price point. The touch screen with pen is a nice feature for designers, too. If you're looking for a true laptop and not a tablet, consider a refurbished HP EliteBook with a DreamColor display. The DreamColor displays are certified to encompass the full sRGB and Adobe RGB color spaces.
It's not necessarily a Black Friday deal, but if you're a Costco member, they have been running a deal on that exact combo you want for a while.
$400 off, so $1299 total (pre-tax).
I've been itching to pull the trigger for a month now on this deal...
Edit - here's a link: http://www.costco.com/.product.100120819.html?cm_sp=RichRelevance-_-categorypageHorizontalTop-_-CategoryTopProducts&cm_vc=categorypageHorizontalTop|CategoryTopProducts
Edit 2 - If you're willing to go down a step, Best Buy is offering the D7000 with 18-140 for $799.99 using code D7000DEAL http://www.bestbuy.com/site/nikon-d7000-dslr-camera-with-18-140mm-vr-lens-black/2071002.p?acampID=0&ref=8575135&loc=0&id=1219068635598&skuId=2071002
I just bought this: https://jet.com/product/Acer-GN246HL-3D-LED-LCD-Monitor-24-169-1-ms/fa69b2fa6d43446889bed92e0af8222f
Use code 20Now and get 20% off so total is $143.20. Good until the end of today.
I believe Direct is the type of LED screen, not the brand. I'll let Consumer Reports explain.
http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2012/05/what-is-a-direct-lit-led-lcd-tv/index.htm
tl;dr "Direct-lit LED backlights are an offshoot of full-array backlighting...they're less expensive than edge LED models, since they don't require the lightguide plates. And in a tough economy, this lets manufacturers offer less-expensive models..."

You can download IFTTT, which does tons of stuff, mostly unrelated to yuor request, but I think it can get you what you need. It stands for IF This Then That, and basically it links various apps and phone functions so that if something is triggered on one medium, then something else happens where you set it to, which is very convenient.
You can make your own recipes or just download the ones made by others (what I do.) For recipes that fill your request, Check out these. I (conveniently) just got an email with this link a few hours ago, courtesy of one of the other recipes I have already!
EDIT: just for the record, most of this will apply primarily to online shopping
The multi-award winning Dell Ultrasharp U2415 is currently 40% off on Amazon. I'm very pleased with mine but I don't know if it is good at gaming.
https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Computer-Ultrasharp-U2415-24-0-Inch/dp/B00NZTKOQI
If that TCL is the same one amazon is $20 cheaper unless Target will have it cheaper Black Friday.

I assume he's talking about the Goliathus. I use this one that I picked up off of Amazon for a fraction of the price and while their peripherals are great, I seriously can't imagine Razer is adding significant value here. Anyway I prefer the clean black color without the print / branding.

Why is PIA better? 1. My experience. I've been with them for years. Fast servers, good customer support. Never once servers down. 2. No log policy. Torrentfreak does a yearly check up on the vpn service providers. (PureVPN is kinda shady on this. They explicitly say that they will turn over your information by a valid court order). 3. Cheaper than most other poor quality VPNs.
Note that there are people saying Pure has bad support and slow connections. They also screwed up w the customers info last year i think.
Sooo 3 months of Xbox Live is normally $10.50 on just about any deal website.
Also Xbox One Controllers have been selling for $40 for a few months now, and there were recently deals for ~$34. Here is a controller that also includes a Windows cable for $40 from Walmart. Not even a Black Friday "Deal".
Fuck Newegg. Fuck Black Friday.
Hey everyone,
I'm currently looking for a 55-65" TV for mostly streaming and occasional video games. I haven't owned a TV for almost 4 years and don't really know what to expect in the terms of quality. I was planning to spend $400 max.
This very nifty link from slickdeals that someone posted is recommending the TCL 55-inch 4K Smart TV (model 55S405) for 55" and LG 65-inch 4K Smart TV (model 65UK6090PUA) for 65. Now I was eyeing the TLC 65S4 from walmart for 398 but I've been reading that this series had poor brightness. Should I consider the 55in Samsung from Bestbuy if I end up sticking with 55" over the TLC 55" for $50 less or the 65" TLC for the same price?
FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN THIS DEAL....
It was in store but I saw it online here: https://slickdeals.net/f/12108463-costco-in-store-offer-t-mobile-galaxy-s9-w-200-costco-cash-card-680-activation-required?src=SiteSearch
It's a thread of about 230 comments talking about the deal.

Fun note too: SanDisk Extreme is also on sale. Though costing more for the 512, the 256GB is an excellent price: https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDXC-Memory-Adapter/dp/B09X7CRKRZ/
Biggest difference is speed improving 15-16%. Go with the Extreme for performance, Ultra for standard storage
I'm seeing a discount on Amazon Kindles: https://www.amazon.com/International-Version-Paperwhite-adjustable/dp/B08N3J8GTX/ref=sr_1_3?__mk_es_US=%C3%85M%C3%85%C5%BD%C3%95%C3%91&crid=1JLAELY8GWRZD&keywords=kindle+paperwhite&qid=1669053936&refinements=p_n_is_free_shipping%3A10236242011&rnid=10236241011&sprefix=kindle+paperwhite%2Caps%2C155&sr=8-3
Do you think it will change/get better for black friday?
I bought this one for the fiancee because she mentioned camping out for black Friday for a new laptop. I've done it once and it sucked. She basically just uses laptops for movies, word processing, and web surfing. This also comes with a free set of skullcandy headphones.
It's a nice little add on and totaled about 250 after tax AND I don't have to waste my days off from work standing outside.
Now if you do enjoy the black Friday hype, the Asus touchscreen has 2 GB more ram and a much better processor than my suggestion.
While a decent deal I always factor in the amount of time I could be doing things I wanna do rather than saving a hundred bucks.

Actually, true 120Hz TV's do not create that "wooshy washy" effect also known as "the soap opera effect". The number of hertz determine the number of frames it can display a second. (Refresh Rate [Hz] vs Frame Rate [FPS])
Common television frame rates in North America are 24, 30 and 60fps. If you watch a 60 fps show on a 60Hz TV, you see 1 image/sec. 30 fps on 60Hz = 2 images/sec. 24 fps on 60Hz = 2.5 images/sec... or not.
Your television will create copies of the image to make the 24 frames fit into a 60hz refresh rate because it cannot display half an image (.5). We call this interpolation. This causes the image to appear faster & smoother, but your brain knows there is something wrong.
Here is where real 120Hz TV's have their advantages. 24, 30 and 60 are all multiples of 120, so no interpolation and no wooshy washy effect.
24fps on 120Hz = 5 images/sec 30fps on 120Hz = 4 images/sec and so forth.
So why do people think 120Hz causes this effect? Brands created fake refresh rates (a.k.a. TruMotion, MotionFlow, etc.)
Here is a post from 2013 that might be helpful: http://www.cnet.com/news/fake-refresh-rates-is-your-tv-really-120hz/
I'm leaning toward that (partially just because I'm not sure if I'll my trigger finger will be quick enough for Amazon), but is the M really $180 better than the E?
The cnet reviews for the e0i and m2i series seem to be pretty much a wash- they specifically mention on the m series that the picture isn't significantly better. The user reviews on Amazon are also more or less the same.
Yeah I am hesitant about that too. There are some on there that are 3.5mm. I'm not going to get a USB one.
What about dual USB and 3.5?
As for my webcam it's some shitty one from Creative! Linked here
I'm heading out to get this one now.
It's a Vizio E550i-B2 55" 1080p 120Hz Smart LED TV for $529.99 at Costco. Hoping they have it in-store for the same or less, because their online shipping kills it.
Other retailers have variations on that deal. Amazon gives $100 gift card or $120 discount to prime members (final price $528+tax). Best Buy and Target offer $100 gift card with purchase.
If not that, then I'll probably get the LG 55LB5900 for $599 that has been available at several stores over the weekend.
Hi, I'm looking to buy a TV for my bedroom. Currently, I'm deciding between the

I think its a good price, its currently $899 on Amazon and from CameCamelCamel, the average price seems to be $1,026.90. http://camelcamelcamel.com/MSI-GE62-APACHE-276-9S7-16J212-276-15-6-Inch/product/B012AQH9AU

Stacksocial and keepsolidvpn aren't the same.
Review of Keepsolid from same website.
I grabbed one of these a couple weeks ago for PC gaming and I have been very pleased with it.
I don't believe it will work on xbox. And I think it feels more like a playstation controller than an xbox controller if thats a dealbreaker.

I was scrolling through amazon deals and came across this Samsung Galaxy s21 Ultra 5G
I am wondering if this is too good to be true? I was planning on getting just the base model s21 but if this is the real deal I won't pass this opportunity up.
Most of the questions asking if the phone would would with Verizon (Also my carrier) got the answer "YES" but there was one answer stating (very detailed/long) "No".
I am really hoping someone can help me out and give me an answer on whether or not it would definitely work with Verizon.
I live in the U.S.A.
Ok so I'm torn on what to get maybe someone can sway me one way or the other. Wd easy store 14 desktop storage drive .. got this at best buy actually ready for pickup today... Or a wd red plus 10tb drive on Amazon for roughly 5he same price. I am not sure all the specs of the drive inside the easy store but I think the reds worth is pretty well known Wd easy store https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-easystore-14tb-external-usb-3-0-hard-drive-black/6425303.p?skuId=6425303
I'm pretty sure the easy store is a 5400 rpm some drive The 10tb red plus I'm pretty sure is a 7200 cmr drive
What should I get. Need something reliable that's gonna last. 10tb or 14 would be sufficient for me

I'm looking for Beats Fit Pro True Wireless earbuds. Reviews say that (for my purposes) they will likely be better than the Apple Airpods Pro, which are $160 right now. So I'm kind of torn between saving $40 and better functionality. Any deals on that particular model of Beats? I have seen older models that I'm not interested in on sale.
I'm in the same boat, trying to get a wireless headset. I'm waiting until Cyber Monday, but this is the current best deal I've found.

Looking for a good deal on a 70" TV. In laws insisting on 70 over 65 for the living room, mainly do movies and sports.
Looks like there are very few 70" TVs out there vs 65" so having trouble finding anything worthwhile.
This looks good but reviews are meh, I wouldn't put it in my living room

Nice! A couple simple clicks, if you already have a Microsoft account, to join Bing Rewards and then click on the 100GB offer.

You even get a "credit" for doing this, whatever that's good for. I haven't looked into Bing Rewards at all, but thanks for the free storage Microsoft.
I've now got 125GB of free OneDrive storage for the next couple years. What to do with all that space?

I’ve got a Schlage Connect. They sell them at Home Depot, but you can usually get them on eBay for about 30-40% off retail new... I got this model because I rent out the guestroom in my house, and I can remotely enable and disable user codes so I don’t have to change the locks every single time someone new moves in. I think if you were just getting started, pick up a 3rd gen echo dot.. they’re like $18 on Amazon today which includes a Bluetooth lightbulb so you can get used to being able to turn off your bedroom lights with your voice. I have a different routine set up, like “Alexa, it’s bedtime” which turns off the bedroom/kitchen/dining room lights, activates the motion sensor for the front door light, activates the motion sensor in my bedroom that turns on the light over the toilet on 10% brightness from 2 AM until 7 AM of I get out of bed (so I don’t have to fumble for the light switch every time if I wake up at some point and need to pee), locks the doors, and sets Alexa to “guard mode”. Super handy.
I mean, I could do all of that manually, but doing it this way saves like 2 minutes a day (so 14 minutes a week, or 12 hours a year). It’s not much, but it’s worth it. Plus, it’s fun.
