Does Photoshop not handle 32-bit TIFF? You might be able to do only one render for the HDR effect if you use 32-bit TIFF output in Chunky.
I don't use Photoshop myself, but I was able to use Luminance HDR to generate HDR images from 32 bit output.
8 hours. It only took about 25 seconds to render each frame, but I had to restart 3 times. One at about 150, then at 172, then again at 165. I kept losing track of my sun position and cloud scrolling. Would have probably only taken about 6 hours if I didn't keep screwing up.
And the GIF creator I used was THIS. Very easy to use, it accepts all the frames in a single ZIP file instead of individually, and allows you to change a bunch of things like frame timing and such.
The ONLY download via torrent (original 8K in PNG and misc raw files): magnet-link
You can use the free and portable Tixati client to download. The raw
folder only contains different SPP samples, you may want to exclude it from your download.
