How will we handle the opposing skin and clothing tones of the pin sharp subject against a bright and blurry background??? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

The lighting on certain parts seem slightly off, this may be due to the fact that the image wasn’t scanned but instead photographed under uneven lighting. If you ever find a scanned version of the image, be sure to drop me a dm and I’ll try again.

Deepai’s colorization appears just to have put an api around the public repo of DeOldify which is free to use via google collab links available on the DeOldify page.

Maybe try on r/estoration, but scan the photo. Even the Photoscan would help.

ya, i only learned about him from watching Louie (Louis C.K.s show) when his daughter dresses up as him for halloween. I think I'm going to read his book Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave since they have a copy of it in the library at my university and i know sweet F.A. about Black-American history: he seems like he'd provide a pretty good purview
