If anyone is looking for some summer reading material (few weeks left!), highly recommend Can't Knock the Hustle by Matt Sullivan.
He obviously dives deep into the creation of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving joining in Brooklyn, but also goes deep into the history of player empowerment in general. In addition to the Olympics in Rio and the whole China/Daryl Morey tweet fiasco.
Tons of quotes from players, agents, coaches, general managers. Some great sports journalism here imo.

Autowin survey for Alonzo Gee/Tayshaun Prince is up.
Prince has two potential autowin bids to consider: if TOR does not manage to win Gee, Prince is the next target. If TOR does win Gee, its bid on Prince will be declined, and Prince will then consider DAL's autowin offer.

Well, in terms of who the main voice will be, it's always been Dwyane Wade. Nobody commands the respect of a lockeroom like DWade.

This can't be what Chris Bosh was hoping to hear.

Appreciate it. A few disjointed thoughts:
RL PHI medical staff is a train wreck. They did the same thing with Simmons as with Embiid a year ago: Allowed them to play with an injury (Simmons hurt his back in practice prior to their game vs. MIL and they let him play ... and he made it through 4 mins, SMDH).
Is your schadenfreude indicative of being down on Hinkie and/or his "process"? If so I'd suggest the Full 48 episode with Yaron Weitzman about his book on the Process. I think Beck and Weitzman do a good job disecting the mythos around "the process" (I, as you can imagine by posting this, agree with much of what they point out.)
