You can create an ad-hoc wifi network in Windows with one notebook acting as the router, so you don't need anything else.
Here are two how-to's for Windows 8:

You may use this extremely useful tool for all your recipe calculations and tests: Crock Pot Simulator
Also there's an Android app of this. It makes a great companion for your gameplay !

That's so creepy. I feel like I'm listening on a numbers station.
EDIT: The best I was able to get out of a program I barely understood how to work was "miauaeasi aiauaeasi"
Here is a hastily/poorly cleaned up version of the morse code
I play on my Macbook Pro using bootcamp and a legal copy of windows XP upgraded to sp3. Here's a link to the bootcamp apple support site. It requires you to partition your hard drive and choose which OS you want to launch when you boot your computer. I set it up when I first got my computer so I don't know if it requires a reformatting of the mac side or not if you've already been using the HDD. If you do own a mac you can most likely take in for an appointment at the genius bar and they'll help you get all set up or at the very least walk you through the steps. I managed to do it and I'm a relative novice in the tech world so it can't be too terribly difficult. The biggest investment here is a copy of windows. Cheaper than a whole new comp though!
Hope this helps!
Correct. We were doing Wigfrid skirmishes.
Basically, everyone logs in as Wigfrid and fights with no prep, wait about half a day so everyone can log in, then duke it out. We usually do these with less than 6-10 people, but because Flare was streaming, we ended up with 42 people fighting all at once.
It's a nice change of pace from the standard who-can-rush STS/Pan flute first PVP.
I built my PC back in 08-09 and it runs very smoothly for me.
Mind giving us some specifics on your PC? It'd be easier to tell.
Also, <strong>'Can You Run It?'</strong> is a great tool to use as well.
Well... definitely don't know what the problem is, but I can suggest a few more troubleshooting steps. This site lists a few more ways you can try deleting the bin that's in use. If you upload your log file somewhere (like pastebin) after making the game say "how odd" and closing the game (it should be located in Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether/client_log.txt
), I can take a look and maybe figure out what's wrong.
I think it was a browser game, because I remember playing it back in HS at the school. I'm not 100%, but I think it was just N back then, then N+ when it hit the arcade.
Wolly is a new set piece in preparation for Shipwrecked, the new DLC coming for Don't Starve. Wolly is like a trader, and will give you small items like flint or feathers for feeding him certain meats.
Hints (no answers in the hints...put spoiler tags in case you don't want any help anyway):
[If you give the parrot an item, he will spout off a partial sentence. The items you give him are the items in the picture he is holding. I think people just spawned those items or something](/spoiler)
[Each game will only give a part of the clue. There is no way to get more from it. Thus, you'll have to collaborate with others to get the full puzzle](/spoiler)
[Solve the puzzles to get the input answer for the parrot](/spoiler)
[Now you have a bunch of new things. From there, you'll have to figure out how what do to with them.](/spoiler)
[If you figure out that answer, you'll get some more images with another puzzle. Figure out how to solve that to get another clue](/spoiler)

The legendary bee that took down TeoSS69. Some say it became the bee king following that feat. Taking full command of killer bee set pieces everywhere and wielding the power of 1000 stings at will.
What’s your budget…? I presume this isn’t the only game you’re going to be playing right? I mean eventually you’ll play other games.
You don’t necessarily need a ton, I’m a huge fan of the Asus ROG line, something like this is a good one
ASUS 2021 Flagship ROG Strix G 15 Gaming Laptop Computer 15.6" FHD Display Intel Hexa-Core i7-9750H 16GB DDR4 512GB SSD 4GB GTX 1650 RGB Backlit WiFi HDMI Win10 + iCarp HDMI Cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JGG9Z9G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_F0CHAPKCY0BXKRQPGXC3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Like 16g ram 4g vid ram is well above what you’d need for a late game DST world, but if you want a good laptop in my mind you want one that will play all the current Gen games for a few years.
You can also find one that would run dst just fine for like… $700, i can look up a few other options if you’d prefer. But that would be a good laptop, spring for the 32g and 1 tb ssd if it’s in your budget, but it’s not strictly necessary
Thanks for the feedback, I mostly want to make friends and have fun playing with others, since the pub experience is not that fun anymore. I don't monetize my twitch. Is there a way to disable sub button or anything, to prove it. I just wish to have some folks to play and form a community.
As for the second video, that one is not mine, I'm not volx. The other post was from volx, not me, which I enjoy watching.
For unmodded, I agree increased boons is unfair, but alliod loves playing with them just for the dopamine hit. I play without them, but other than that we have no server mods enabled. I have just the usual client mods people look.
As for the gamme, thanks for noticing that I will fix it next time since I have flux installed, for less eye-strain and that affects the stream.
I won't use alt accounts, that's dishonest.
It's a wiki. Anyone can write whatever crap in there, and as long as it's not obvious trolling, most people won't know to reverse the edit. Always treat with caution. But there is no need to argue; with don't starve anytime we have a doubt, we can just go look at the code and see for ourselves.
This being said, in this specific case, I'm pretty sure it's just badly written. As in, the editor wanted to say "a strike outside the lightning rod range can ignite stuff inside the range", (ignite radius is 3 around strike point) not that lightning rods are useless because the lightning was given the ability to do whatever the fuck and jump to go hit anything it wants inside the rod's radius.
Ye I already thought of it but i didn't want to exclude anything except the random recipes with different outcomes, so that you can really look everything up on 2 wallpapers.
Oh, and the files: Crock Pot Wallpaper Files
Your teleportato pieces falling into the water have nothing to do with Chester, it has to do with a bug of, well, stuff spawning in or falling on water. Have you reported the specifics of your experience to Klei so they can look into it? Or have you just complained about the imperfection without following up with the folks who can fix it?
They promised 6 months of free updates after the release, and spent far more than that on it, offering content fixes and really listening to the feedback/suggestions/complaints of their customers/fans to resolve issues. They provide a real person-to-person acknowledgement and communication/conversation that's extremely tough to find in this day and age. To this very day, they continue to listen to players and make adjustments to the gameplay experience.
A fandom that wants to buy plushies? Is > $151K worth of support good enough for you? Or would only millions prove their worthiness?
As a passionate player of this game, and a customer service employee myself, I downvote you. Klei has offered the service and support that I stay awake stressing about night-after-night, only dreaming my company and coworkers had the ability to offer our clients. Your entitlement and ridicule is insulting.
I like the new rules so far, particularly the one about Art since Klei themselves do a lot of art streams themselves. A dedicated meme-day sounds good too; that way what feels like the majority of the posts being posted isn't solely memes.
For Rule 2, can the link be updated to include the DST Trading Forums, as that seems to be much more active than the currently linked one for DS.
Similarly, under the Useful Links section, can that include the DST Klei page as well?
Other than that, I have to think of what else I want to suggest (probably more flairs, if it's something I can figure out to do).
I do agree on the subreddit needing an uplifting as well, since I do see the differences in the sidebar between people using old reddit and the new reddit (like the Useful Link section), among other things.
> This is so easy, I need it to be harder, you guys are scrubs /smug
That's a rude accusation man. I never said I was good, and I never said that Summer was easy. I like challenge. I encourage challenge. Just listen to what the devs call the game: "Don’t Starve is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic." (Source: https://www.kleientertainment.com/games/dont-starve )
The Devs even state that this is an, "uncompromising wilderness survival game." So If it is uncompromising shouldn't it be playable, but as hard as possible? I highly encourage a buff to seasons across the board. I'm the kind of person who enjoys a challenge, so extra difficulty is always a great thing in my book.
I was way into FTL as that was my first rouge like. I asked my buddy who is a game developer to recommend a game for me along those line. He mentioned Don't Starve. I watched the trailer and a couple of let's plays and immediately was intrigued.
So I decided to buy two copies right then for myself and my brother. The game took over our chats for a while as we kept sharing survival strategies.
What I enjoy most about the game is the high replay value, uncompromising difficulty and frustration. Wish each run I learn something new or re-learn and old lesson. When a run is going well, I get into a flow where I really get immersed into the DS experience and it just feels great.
RoG breathed a whole new life into the game for me by making it tougher and adding more content. I have been enjoying the frustration of mastering it.
I am really looking forward to DST to play with my brother or even some other members of the community that I have began recognizing.
I was frustrated by launching games and finding out that I had massive updates to do, so I figured I would make an app to solve this problem.
Patchify will send you a notification when a game you are subscribed to updates, and will also provide you with the latest patch notes for it.
Patchify currently has support for 48 games and aims to integrate many more.
The app is still in its early stages, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
Also please join the discord, where you’ll be able to vote for features and games you want to see added to Patchify.

If anyone didn't know it existed, here's a very useful app I'm always using for Android
Not really, sorry. There are already good apps that list and order the various recipes.
Maybe just focus on making the crockpot simulator? I think that might have some value as a standalone app for people who want to just throw in some stuff and see what comes out, rather than working backwards from a recipe.
But please don't mistake my optimism for expectation of success. In my personal opinion this app is DOA.
The app Launcher for Don’t Starve (available on the Play Store here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.iplay.assistant.mod.donotstarve) claims to be able to load mods. Haven't tried it yet but when you launch the game via the app then there's a "Mod" option in the menu just like on the Desktop version.
I googled and found it in the app store online even though I could not see it on my phone. I then purchased it online(on PC) and it remote installed it onto my phone. I AM STOKED!

Update: Runs beautiful! Worth noting is that I did not have an option to install it to my S4, only my S5 from work. I expect there to be limitations on the hardware right now.
