The key is that it needs to be STERILE and WATER-BASED.
I’ve been using McKesson Lubricating Jelly with my PES urethral amplifier and PES sparkler for several years now without issue. I do not use an entire tube each time. It’s my belief (perhaps, delusion) that the lube in the tube is sterile until it leaves the tube — even after the initial seal is broken.
Also, it’s really important to be hydrated before play. You want to be able to urinate a decent amount after so you clear everything out of the passage.
I believe Spectra 360 may be one of the most commonly used electrode gels in the medical community. https://smile.amazon.com/Parker-Labs-12-08-Conductive-Tubes/dp/B06VWSS7KJ/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1PLN396GVPDOS&dchild=1&keywords=electrode+gel&qid=1632141371&sprefix=electrode%2Caps%2C216&sr=8-4 I have used it for years and have found it to be great for the purpose. YMMV
I've got splitters like this Amazon link I usually use them for any bipolar electrode I want to make monopolar. For prostate stimulation I'll hook the bipolar electrode to the Y and then to one wire of the lead and then I'll use a conductive pad on the other wire and I usually put it on my taint. The thing to be aware of is the surface area of the contacts, say you have a large prostate stimulator and a small pad you will feel more stimulation in the pad and vice versa
The sound is a unipolar electrode, you need a second contact point to finish the circuit. the round pieces are snap connectors, you need something like these. Hope that helps!
I'll respond to your list of questions in the numeric order you wrote them:
There's no practical difference between a 2mm TENS socket and a 4mm banana socket besides perhaps the physical strength and durability of the cable/connector. The size you choose is mainly up to personal preference and convenience
As far as I have seen 4mm seems to be the standard "banana" plug size for EStim
Yes, though when purchasing various plugs/conductors consider what parts of them are conductive - it's best to stick with insulated plugs or to get some heatshrink to cover any exposed metal. If I were purchasing plugs like this, I'd be sure to insulate each connection as best as possible
This product, for example, seems to be a female connector on both sides of the wall plate that allows you to use banana, spade crimps, or bare wire. This seems to fit your requirements, though definitely consider my note about insulating in my response #3
Really anything larger (or lower AWG) than 26AWG should be plenty. You're more likely to break a thinner wire physically than to damage it from having too much current. EStim electrode outputs are pretty low current, generally speaking. 22AWG sounds fine to me!
As stated in response #5, EStim current is generally low. The split won't result in a loss of charge, rather the current will split between the two outputs. Note that increasing the surface area of electrode contact, which will happen when you split one electrode output between 2 electrodes, is that they will both carry less current each such that you'll generally feel less sensation on the split electrodes and more sensation on the other electrode.
Would something like this work? https://www.amazon.com/HealthmateForever-Handheld-Electrotherapy-Electronic-Management/dp/B00O7CM12W

Or something else on amazon?
Sorry for the late reply...
TENS 7000 (they all come with pads)
Channels refers to the number of outputs. Basically, this is the same as the number of power knobs, which is the same as the number of pairs of wires. Two wires connect a single channel to your body, current will flow into one electrode and out the other. Then the direction of current switches and this forms an EStim pulse. The TENS 3000 has 2 channels. Make sense?
You can also get these on Amazon. They are just 2.5mm jack connectors.
I’ve had one of these for a while and it’s definitely one of my favorite! It’s a conductive silicone and there’s no need for an external power unit with all the wires. My remote stopped working, but I have another similar toy by the same company that works for both. I recently purchased a flared plug version of this. It’s a bit awkward trying to get in, but once it is…HOLE-Y-FUCK. The spreading wings keep it in place so I can push back against it without worrying it’ll come out and it pushes directly on the prostate. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09C8D31K8
Pads or loops? if loops, use water based lube, or estim specific lube. Loop one around glands, loop the other around base of cock AND balls. TAPE half of that loop using painters or electrical tape so that the signal doesn't go thru the base of the cock. You can test this but having the signal traveling just thru the top of your penis, the dorsel nerve, is going to be VERY SPICY. You might like, you might not!

If pads, put one on taint, one on the top or bottom of your head. (Not tip. Underneath or on top.) Pads make it easy to try new positions. pause the app, move, hit play again. Lots of fun!

For pads on cock, I use these small hair curler elastics my wife has. Stretch them a bit and they are perfect for keeping the pads nice around the curve of the penis. Not too tight after stretching. This also helps keep the signal consistent. They are dirt cheap:

Take it slow.
Avoid audio files for now. There is a bit to making it feel right.
I almost ALWAYS start with the "breathe" pattern on low. Play with the patterns and learn which one's you enjoy and do not. You can create a playlist of them and leave out the ones you do not like.

I might make a post about some good custom patterns you can make. I learned by using a user's hear called "Boom Boom". It was a good starting point.

Do NOT expect a HFO for a while. You've got a lot of experimentation ahead of you. And I really mean that. Placing a pad even an inch from usual can make a huge difference. (Don't underestimate the pleasure of a pad on taint, and one on small of back!)

For the pads I prefer the long rectangular ones rather than the square ones; especially if what you have on the other pole is an electrode used internally, the difference in surface makes it hard to use. However, if you use something like https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07179VF5J/ , put your 4mm to 2mm at the tip, and plug a pole of the cable on the back of one of the heads, you can use two square ones, one on each side of the base of your genitalia, and have a regular electrode on the other pole.
But using square pads together is just fine, and I do use them from time to time, especially when I whip out my weaker unit, so it's not money lost.
Also, I am not sure but those adapter look to be quite long, in the event of some metal hanging out, it might be a problem if it comes into contact with skin or lube. I'm not sure if cutting a bit of their tip is an acceptable solution or not.

This is incredibly hot, I'm going to try this out tonight. Would be good to do this with a Coyote and XToyz, but I imagine you can always close the tab to stop the pain.
If you were going to do this without xToyz and just the standard iPhone app, you could set it up to increase over time and then put it in one of the phone lock jails (https://www.amazon.co.uk/iDiskk-addiction-temptation-Multi-Function-Students/dp/B08HZ4LYHM/ref=asc_df_B08HZ4LYHM/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475148984837&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=7365313001167401818&hvpone=&hvp...) for a set period of time, that way there's no way to stop it unless you cut yourself out of the box.
I have one of these and while it does stay in place, it’s an uncomfortable stretch at 3” diameter. It’s ok for short play, but for anything more than about ten minutes it gets uncomfortable for me. It’s also a bitch to get in and takes quite a bit of prep.
I have one of these and while not estim, they’re super comfortable and the steel ballbearing in them make them a lot of fun when active (it bounces inside!).
What I’d love is the best of both worlds. Also my GF can’t take the first one I posted, so she’s stuck with the smaller ones I have.
In any case, maybe I’ll have to customize something. You got the gears turning.
I looked into that electron.box one linked from that google drive and seems to be the most easy to put together, and i already have a raspberry pi, powerbank etc, but while I can find a similar amplifier I cant find the transformers (on Amazon that is) they used in that one, and I'm not sure if I need anything else listed in the other devices.
TENS pads are disposable by nature. If you clean the skin well with alcohol pad or alcohol on cotton ball before you apply the pads then it will last even longer. If your concern is the recurring cost of replacing the pads then you can always use other type of electrodes such as conductive rubber loop. Though a TENS pads cost less than 50c on Amazon, and even cheaper if you buy them from Aliexpress, and they can last for weeks if you take good care of it so it isn't bad really, less than buying coffee every day.
I'm not sure if you can use ECG pads with TENS unit, I'm not sure if they are conductive in the same way. But ECG pads are disposable as well so eventually you will need to replace it and they are more expensive than TENS pads since ECG is more specialize in medical field and TENS are more available to the public so the pricing isn't as price gouging as medical supplies like ECG are.
As to your device coming with snap connector, you can get adapter to change it to a more common TENS pins (i.e. https://www.amazon.com/Tens-Lead-Wire-Adapters-Discount/dp/B01N0NPOUR) or other type of connector depending on your electrode.
First off, buy better sticky pads, then use this transparent film dressing to keep it in place.

The stuff is a PITA to use (it sticks everywhere) but works.
I'd recommend rather than one of these, just get a regular TENS device like the TENS 7000. Units like the one you're considering have preset programs that may or may not feel good for erotic stimulation. Most of them just plain don't...
Great ideas! Instead of alligator clips, I use the power connectors of old IDE harddisks. Computer IDE connector

I don't mind at all. Unfortunately like I said, I'm very new to estim and only very recently discovered this is an actual thing people do, since I just thought I was doing something very weird. I use two tens units, and I'm not too aware of what kind they are, but I'm posting links to the Amazon pages in India for both the units.
1: https://www.amazon.in/Physiogears-Transcutaneous-Electrical-Stimulation-Electro/dp/B07F7CPC7D/
This one is my primary one. It has a more direct and more vibration less heat kind of effect so I always place these closer to the head of my penis. The two red pads go on top and bottom of my head, and the two blue ones go on the bottom of my ballsack, on the left and the right bottom.
2: https://www.amazon.in/Physiotrack-Digital-Physiotherapy-Stimulation-Stimulator/dp/B08LBNNJJ5/
This is my secondary one. It is a bit more subtle but rises in pressure as it increases, causing almost a warm sensation. For these, the red pads go below the other ones on the middle of my penis front and back, and the blue ones go on top of my ballsack, top left and top right.
They are very standard run of the mill tens units and I probably shouldn't have used such products long term in the first place but here we are. I'm happy to answer any other questions as well. Just hope someone has experienced something similar with regards to the numbing for long periods and has some solution.
I bought this one and I love the fit but the shock was just too much for me and forced hard contractions. I only used it once and am afraid to try it again but I do want to try other settings.
I used a Bluetooth amp exactly like this. The original I purchased in the BOM is no longer in stock under that name. Yep I modified it as described in my original post to add physical volume and balance controls. One change I’ve made to the posted design is to use a linear volume control but it didn’t make a massive difference in control.
I used these, I wedged the end in a sturdy bracket to hold it as I hammered/bent it to bend it at 90 degrees about an inch and a half from the fatter end so into kind of an L shape, I wrapped it with electrical tape to insulate all but the inch and a half that gets inserted and touches the prostate while I can then comfortably sit on the longer part that is taped up and insulated, the thin end I used electrical tape to attach the lead wire. Very conductive stainless steel with no hot spots, and very smooth and not too big or too small for me.
I tried one as a sound too (the thin end, took off the rubber covering which slid off) but I didn't like that too much, it is just a bit too wide for my urethra so a bit too much of a stretch and I'm not really a fan of estim through the urethra anyways, it did work though but I didn't like it so didn't bother with it again, it feels better for me to just hit the nerve on the outside just under the frenulum with a small pad and hit the prostate with the L shaped one.

I tried one (button connection on the top, flexible silicone sound)
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Dilator-Urethral-Stretcher-Electrostimulation-ELECTRO/dp/B07LB4FSJ9
And yes, it is junk.
- The silicone is sort of "sticky" and causes irritations
- You can only use water based lubes, (of course), but these tend to be absorbed by the skin/sound and thus the sound tends to stick
- when you clean it, you can see carbon residue on the wipes as if you are wiping a pencil.
Conclusion: Not safe, do not recommend
> ...just to get the data/power cable, didn’t need the other stuff.
Then you only need THIS cable from Amazon or one to exactly the same specs:
When I bought it what seems to be a lifetime ago, the case was a dark blue, but yeah the unit itself still looks the same as this https://www.amazon.com/InTENSity-5000-TENS-Unit-Professional/dp/B082N6CQ6J. I have yet to try the Coyote with the Moaner, but using other accessories I haven't had much success with it so far (although I haven't tried the audio file functionality yet, only the presets and playing a bit with the wave functions with the editor).
Maybe I'm just dumb and don't know how to use it, but my biggest complaint about the 2B is that I can't get the 2 channels to sync on the frequency. Like, I can tie the power of both channels so they stay at the same relative power when I adjust, but if I adjust the frequency of one channel, the other doesn't change, which means the waves end up destructively interfering with each other, which results in lower power. And if I use it with only one channel, I don't get the same power I can get out of my InTENSity 5000 when combining the channels together. And they are both powered by a 9V battery, so it's not like the 2B has all that much more power potential to provide. Maybe things would be different with a mains adapter, but there are enough cables already, it gets rather unwieldy to add a power cable to the mix. Plus, I like being able to move around freely, and being hooked to an outlet doesn't give me that freedom (also, the 2B is too large to wear on yourself anyways).
Hi there, just have a look for a "dimmer" on 220v basis ... That should do the trick.
https://www.amazon.de/dp/B07FMTDTBJ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_D1YE1RX4QCGK4PBXJYWN
Check if it has enough power for the magic wand, if not choose another one. If you buy on Amazon and if it does not work as expected you can return the stuff then easily.
I don't know if it works, that highly depends on the internals of the magic wand you have. The original magic wand was very simple and had just a hardware button with three ways, Mode 1, Off, Mode 2 where mode 2 was more intense. A dimmer or similar could be use as there were no intelligence within the unit. Don't know if the magic wand you have has a built in chip which will get "underpowered" and stops working when trying the stuff with the dimmer. Therefore be careful with that solution.

I purchased a tens unit without doing enough research to find out I should have bought an Ultima 5 or the 7000 if I was trying to be cheap to ease into stun play. Well I only have preset modes at the time and electrode pads. I am going to order a Ultima 5 with the CR loops. So getting down to it I am wondering if I could get some help understanding why at times my session feels like needles hit my skin under the electrodes and when the wife tried she was freaking out most of the time from the pins feeling under the electrodes. She seemed to have way more pens feelings than I did. She was freshly shaved on where the electrodes were placed so maybe that was to fresh of skin? The best feeling I could get was when I put and electrode on my back above my crack and then on my Taint! I could feel either my prostate flexing or the base of my penis behind the taint inside of my body. I really would like to explore with here insertables that cause her to contract if that is a thing that can get women off. Again I know some of the problems could be because of the Tens I have, but I am about to order an Ultima 5. Also the unit came with larger pads. This is the unit. https://www.amazon.com/Rechargeable-Stimulator-Upgraded-Self-Adhesive-Electrodes/dp/B06ZZ19MS3

Hi,
Assuming both files are stereo, you'll be dealing with 4 separate patterns to choose from. I think a simple 2-channel mixer like this will do the trick:
I've never used a device like this; but, judging by its look, I believe it could be used for such purpose. There are two stereo inputs for players and one stereo output for the phone's mic/line-in. After everything is set up correctly, you can start playing with the dials to bring it to life⚡
Here's my final assessment. One of the modes I used caused me to cum unexpectedly. But my main goal here is role playing, not so much sex.
Pad Placement
I have channel A on one side, channel B on the other. The lower pads are less than an inch apart, close together, but with no risk of touching.
Modes
Lifting-pinching manipulation (TENS)
This gives a constant sensation and I believe most resembles menstrual cramps. I experience discomfort, but not agonizing pain. After a few minutes it radiates into my lower back. I could sit in front of you with this running and hide it, but I would be uncomfortable. I set it at full intensity. I wish I could go higher. I plan to shave the areas where the pads go to see if that increases intensity.
Fibrillation massage-1 (PMS)
This mode I believe most resembles contractions and being in labor. A lot of pain and then at the end really intense pain with a painful squeezing feeling. Then it goes back to regular pain. I can only go to about 75% intensity. It was this mode that caused me to ejaculate at which point I had to shut the thing off. It was simultaneously the most pain and pleasure I've experienced in my life.
Fibrillation massage-1 (TENS)
This is very similar to the mode above, but not quite as intense. The highs are less high and the lows less low. I still can't go over about 75% with my unit.
My TENS unit
My experience
I've only been at this around 24 hours. My only regret is not discovering this sooner.
Menstrual cramps and contractions?
Yeah, yeah, I'm weird.
I hope I'm not too far off-topic here. It is a sexual fetish. :-)
I bought this unit. I went cheap because I wasn't sure if this was going to be my thing. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZZ19MS3/
I was trying to simulate pain/cramping in the same area where a uterus would be in a woman.
Pad placement, I hope this renders correctly. The * is my navel.

https://www.amazon.com/External-Headphone-Microphone-Computer-Desktops/dp/B07BT5V18R/ref=sr_1_10?crid=B6LI0GE9XEDG&keywords=usb+type+c+sound+card&qid=1641111691&sprefix=usb+type+c+sound+card%2Caps%2C190&sr=8-10
I'm using a Huawei Mate 9 for this experiment.
I'm not very privy on new cell phone tech so I'm a bit out of touch with it. So with a little digging the newer flagship phones can record in stereo. Some phones are equipped with duel mic. Unfortunately mine has duel but can't record in stereo. But I found this that has potential of working with a phone with those capabilities. I see a scenario where you could use the 3.5mm on the same phone if it has it or another source mp3 player. Using trs cable that would split out left and right and plug into this device feeding into the USB C for the stereo mic input. It might just work I just can't go any further then creating a crazy cable that comes out of the 3.5 Jack's audio and then feeding it back into the mic for simple mono. if I wanted to keep everything on the same phone. The device will handle line load as well. But maybe such an expensive phone might just be handling these files in stereo, I don't know. https://www.amazon.com/Splitter-Cubilux-Microphone-Lavalier-Compatible/dp/B07YJHM7XZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_27?crid=3D906QZ9U1WH2&keywords=usb+type+c+dual+mic+input&qid=1641024353&sprefix=usb+type+c+dual+mic+input%2Caps%2C169&sr=8-27
But still the two channels are independent in your findings and you can mute each channel independently through software and not feel anything on that particular trode. that sounds like stereo. When you say when channel a increases channel a decrease, this ive been able to see this visually using Audacity. It's through the usb-c i think your able to get left/right mic input. Or just get new cables, the ones they sent broke in just a few months of use. Poor copper used.
I use these pads found on amazon. Very sticky and they last. You can cut them to whatever shape suits you.
I tried the large hair clip. It did not work very well for me. Maybe I got the wrong size. I found smaller clips about half the size work nicely. Question about TENs pad size, what sensation do you get using a bigger or smaller pad? Is it better to use smaller pads to pin point areas or just hit them all with a big one?
Considering this: Amazon tens pads
May I ask your advice about midistim parts? I was able to source the transformers and the rest of it exactly as laid out in the link you posted. I'm just trying to figure out which of the amps is correct. There are a lot of TPA3116 choices. This one seems correct--do you think that's a decent choice?
I was having problems too. Problem seems to be their mail server - must be on some blacklist so that it can't send emails to many recipients.
I tried using a temp email from https://temp-mail.org/ to make the account and that worked.
I recommend the tens 7000 for about $28 on Amazon. I have bought dozens of these units for both classes and individuals interested in introductory experiences in Stim.

Haha believe it or not I’ve actually squeezed 2 or 3 HFOs out of this little starter kit below (with the bipolar cock/ball ring and once with full metal butt plug and cock/ball ring) but it’s not good. Occasionally it feels good, most of the time it just hurts and burns regardless of lube or hydration.
Also while I’ve got ya here - on a unipolar setup does it matter which electrode has the black or red wire? Thanks again, stimaddict!
First off, generally speaking a TENS/EMS/Health-related device can give you electrical sensation, though I think most say it's not the best feeling for achieving an orgasm. If you REALLY want to feel EStim, you either need to get a made-for-play type EStim box or build a DIY Stereostim box.
If you do still want to purchase a device, I'd recommend the TENS 7000, or really any device that lets you adjust the power level with a knob. The devices you listed all seem to adjust the power level with buttons, and in my experience and from what others have said the button selected levels tend to provide either too much or too little sensation. You don't get a fine adjustment of power with buttons, which is typically needed to orgasm. Here's an option with knobs, it is notably pricier but you may be able to find a more economical alternative.
In case you missed the EStim Wiki. Has lots of information, debatably it's a bit too detailed in some areas.
PS: If you delete all the text after "ref=" on amazon links you'll be able to remove unnecessary characters thus shortening the length of your pasted link :)
I have one of these, it's a stand alone unit but has a nice smooth sensation and also give a great pelvic floor contraction.

Are these good? There's a bundle price with that and the TENS 700, and Spectra 360
The recommended product for external electrodes is Spectra® 360 electroconductive gel. You can get it inexpensively from Amazon here in a 5-pack.
Unfortunately, nobody stocks anything useful. I spent 45 minutes searching major retailers for you and only Walgreens stocks one that is not very good. Even vendors like CVS who sell the TENS 7000 online charge more than twice as much ($83) as other online retailers like Amazon here for US $29 with free delivery.
I'm sorry, but you need to order online. Please consider ordering extra pads.
I like split wire loom better because it is easier to install the wires. When using wire loom, use vinyl electrical tape or heat shrink on the ends to reduce fraying.
When loading expandable loom, run one stiff wire through first and use it as a "puller" for the bundle.
You might try "Tensive Parker Labs Conductive Adhesive Gel", It is very sticky, like grade school rubber cement. We use it to keep pads in place.
Use just a small bit, about the size of a pea (or smaller) and spread it to make a coating. Be careful, it can be a bit messy. However it might do the trick.
Here is is on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0011YY9YM/
>u/rottywell: I'm unshaven and I'm wondering if that's getting in the way
I also am unshaven, but I use electric clippers with a 1/4" spacer comb to trim; this can greatly-improve results. If you don't want to trim everything, just trim the area where the loop will contact skin.
Keep in mind that Spectra 360 gel improves conductivity primarily by making better contact between skin and electrode; it is not especially conductive, which is why it may not be used for defibrillation. If you don't want to remove hair, you can make Spectra 360 more conductive by adding baking soda ONLY to the amount you're going to use immediately (to avoid bacterial growth, do NOT mix a lot ahead of time). Great bulk buy of Spectra® 360 on Amazon.
I've been working on a project to enable remote control of an ET232 over the web. I've used it on my local network, but haven't tried setting it up to run over the Internet, yet. There are two parts to it: the service which interacts with the ET232, and the web app which provides the UI. The service which controls the device runs on your computer, and the web app is a separate application which can run on the same computer or run on a server or cloud platform.
The ET232 and ET312B both have serial interfaces which lets other devices send them commands and control them. Both devices require a 'ErosLink Serial Cable'. Erostek provides the pin-out diagram to make your own. You can also find these cables on Amazon and eBay (called DB9 to 3.5mm TRS cables).
My software's not ready for release, yet, but if you're interested, I can try to answer questions about it.
This power supply works well: https://www.amazon.com/ZOZO-Regulated-Switching-Replacement-Electronics/dp/B015PXUHYA/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?keywords=zozo+12w+3v+4.5v+5v+6v+7.5v+9v+12v+regulated+multi+voltage&qid=1570668960&sprefix=zozo+12&sr=8-1
This works perfectly for the Connect/Commander connection cable: https://www.amazon.com/Green-utech-Ft232rl-Ttl-232r-5v-aj-Programming-Windows7/dp/B00XSOELNW/ref=mp_s_a_1_fkmr0_2?keywords=green-utech+ft232&qid=1570669266&sr=8-2-fkmr0
I assume you want something like this which is 2mm male to snap converter. It's the male part that you need to be looking for I think.
I decided to get this unit (less than $30 actually) based off of the advice here. Got all the high quality connections/extras and everything now, ended up being around $150 total. I'll buy the ET312 In a year or two when I have more money/space. Part of the cost was getting these but they seemed like the best ones from what I was able to find.
I use this, what you linked looks to be adhesive not just lubricant. It's gel, it isn't runny and it gets tacky but not sticky.
I've been doing a lot of reading and it seems the Spectra 360 is very similar to a water-based lube. Are you referring to a contact adhesive like this? Looks like it'd be way less messy and doesn't dry up.
I was just talking this up in another thread, but it seems relevant here too. I get great results from hurt-free tape in combination with two tens pads. One pad (small and round if I can get it) just below the head of my penis, and another (larger, square or round) at the base. The hurt free tape (doesn't stick to skin) gets wrapped around the shaft and keeps the pads where they're supposed to be and makes sure they keep a good electrical connection throughout, so no hot spots or zapping. Or at least not unintentional zapping. Different sized pads give different sensations. Smaller tend to focus the energy and feel more intense, larger tend to be more diffuse. Preferences vary. You can experiment by trimming pads to size so long as you don't cut the little wires inside the pad. If you hold a pad up to the light you'll be able to see really clearly where the wire is, and thus where you can trim and where you can't. Happy zapping.
