Your question isn't annoying at all; don't mind responses like that.
I saw you mentioned that you like the outdoors. For hiking, a lot of people use the Washington Trails Association for information. All Trails is another resource that I find helpful.
As for your questions, the nightlife is okay. There aren't any places to go dancing (as of recently) so you'll have to travel to nearby towns or Seattle for that. The music scene is alright, though. There are some bars that host bands (e.g., The Anchor and Tony V's Garage are a couple) and the city puts on music events during the summer. I concur with the others' answers in regards to the people and cost of living.

This adapter will allow you to connect your laptop directly to your router.
Using a wired connection will help to eliminate wifi as a bottleneck in your connection. If the connection is still bad, then it's a router or ISP issue. If it works great, then your wifi is the problem. We can't continue troubleshooting until you figure out this portion.
| They've replaced my router and had a tech come by that shrugged his shoulders.
The router they provide is not the best. You would be better off not paying them the $10/month to rent their router. Get your own.
| I tried a wifi extender which I still question if it does anything at all.
Wi-Fi extenders are problematic at best. If you need additional coverage that a single router can't provide, you would be better off with a Mesh System. There are a number of mesh systems available at various prices depending on your budget and needs. The Mesh router REPLACES your Ziply router.
We have Ziply Gigabyte service with a Google Mesh system and get very close to advertised speeds at the router.

You can get it on amazon or ebay, or probably a toy store too, for those adults who want one.
Yeah, it's a pretty sweet sled. Usually over $200. Picked it up for $100 on Amazon in the middle of summer 2020. I use the site CamelCamelCamel to get price alerts on things like this that can change price pretty dramatically.
FYI there are some ridiculously cheap flights out of Everett right now. Hopefully this lasts, it's way better than having to drive to SeaTac and pay for parking.
I just booked nonstop round trip flights to San Diego on Alaska for $112 per person in March. It looks like it's gone up to $133 now, but still a good deal. Use Google flights and click the 'price graph' button to explore your options.

Mozilla just suggested this to me, it's got some interesting articles about how viruses spread and some of the psychology as well as virology.
I saw a similar dog missing post around 20 hours ago? This is from nextdoor:
Small cream/tan dog heading south 2200 block of Baker (west side of Baker). Looked like a terrier and/or poodle mix. Didn't get close enough to see if there was a collar. Approx 12-15 lb, cream/tan, curly hair. Last seen approx 10 min ago.
Please sign up and post this on Nextdoor.com as well. Everett has a pretty active community there and hopefully you will get a lead. I'll keep my eyes and ears out when I walk my fella. I'll probably go south tomorrow with him in hopes of finding your guy. There's also coyotes around Grand so I really worry. I hope you find him soon.
Here's a great book
UV is more for disenfecting, getting a tan, or blinding yourself...
