I modified it a bit in the comic, but the main recipe is above. It worked like a charm, with my slight adjustment, and I thought this subreddit would enjoy it.
I was gonna make tzatziki sauce to go with it (instead of just plain yogurt) but cucumbers are expensive now. There's a link to the recipe anyway, just in case you have your own magic cucumber farm in your backyard or something.
I've found that the proportions of the mug brownie are too small for a full egg. What I've been using is a modified version of this recipe: http://www.instructables.com/id/Mug-Brownie/.
I like this recipe because it is simple and creates a denser brownie rather than a cake:
Microwave for one minute.
The recipe in the comic is basically this bread pudding recipe except using Jimmy John's bread. OP forgot to mention that you need 3/4th's cup of sugar.
I found this recipe online. It looks like they crush up some ice in the blender with flavoring, and then add club soda at the end, and freeze it for 15 mins to get the consistency right, but the picture looks like the consistency is a lot thinner than a slurpee.
I made this tonight! We get veggie boxes every month and I always get a tonne of onions.
Pro tip: if you buy a wedge of gruyere and need to use it up beyond just the soup topping, use it in this: http://www.instructables.com/id/Tart-Apple-Pie-with-Gruyere-Crust/
Seriously, the best pie, EVER. :-)
I found a recipe for cranberry sausage stuffing 3 years ago and have used it ever since. It combines savory with sweet and just enough salty to be interesting.
I could quite frankly eat nothing but stuffing at thanksgiving and be very, very happy. :)
I use this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/awesome-sausage-apple-and-cranberry-stuffing/detail.aspx
edit: I suppose to be technical this is dressing, not stuffing...but who cares. It's OM NOM NOM is what it is.
Too lazy to make a whole thing up, but right. fucking. here.
This is quickbread, motherfucker, which means you don't need to borrow your girlfriend's breadmachine. This shit goes into the oven. </like-a-boss attitude>
Girlfriend and I just made this. At the stage where you leave the oven door open a crack, and the whole house smells BALLIN.
EDIT: It's off the fucking chain. Put some butter and honey on that, and enjoy with a Smithwick's. And a happy St. Paddy's Day to you!
Allrecipes has a pretty good slow cooker section. Also, there's this although the focus here is more cheap/simple slow cooker recipes.
This is delicious - sweet, chocolate, and slightly nutty tasting. I took this to a party once and nobody believed me that there wasn't flour in there. A friend of mine used Egg Replacement and she it was good. Just make sure not to shake the pan when inverting after cooling or your whole delicious mess will fall apart.
A friend brings this to parties all the time. It's always the first to be cleaned out.
If you want to go fancier you can poach (boil) chicken and chop/shred it yourself.
just spent 15 minutes checking out feedback left for the sharpener, and seller is legit
Here are my two favorite. These are the kinds of deserts you decide to make instead of buying some of those crappy premade stuff because they are just so damn easy. Every one is just a matter of mixing it together, and baking.
And...
This isn't dinner food, but if I was a lady and you made this for me I'd kiss you so hard a baby came out.
That's how it works, right? We had abstinence only education at my school :-X.
Are you sure she didn't say caster sugar? That is only sugar with no additives and is superfine. I think mrsroark is right about there being no difference between confectioner's and powdered sugar.
Looks great! Yum!
When I make banana bread, I keep my bananas till they're nearly solid black (if I am not making banana bread anytime soon, I toss them in the freezer to wait). Disgusting to look at, and would never eat them raw this way, but they are PERFECT for banana bread.
ALSO, I add chopped walnuts to mine. I use this Banana Banana Bread recipe as a guide and just add nuts. And I make mine in muffin cups so I have easy single-serve muffins (more yummy crust, fewer crumbs from slicing).
Chicken Taco Soup. There are several ingredients, but the only actual work involved is chopping an onion and shredding some chicken breast. Everything else comes in a can or a packet. This recipe is a family favorite, and is always popular at potlucks.
I like the everything slow cooker recipe book at amazon. If you don't want to splurge for that, sign up at allrecipes.com. That site has some many awesome things...
I'm eating a slow cooker made beef stroganoff soup right now!
I came up with something close to this accidentally. I was trying to make this recipe -- not sure exactly what I changed, but the cookie balls didn't flatten in the oven -- they kept their shape.
So I made a giant cookie the size of the pan with the batter that was leftover, formed it about 1/2" thick, and ended up with one of those giant cookies you find at the mall.
I'm hoping that was an accident that I can duplicate, because they were delicious. The recipe sounds close to yours, but add some instant pudding mix.
i've had my bottle for about 3 years and it's still much stronger than any extract i've bought, in a gourmet store or imported from mexico. this website recommends using good vodka because you might have the stuff for 10 years or more.
I have pictures on the pinterest board of me cutting the bread as thin as I can. It's got quite a bit of elasticity and cohesiveness to it, it should work great for sandwich bread. I like my slices really thick, so I don't have as much experience with thin slices.
Texas Sheet Cake. It looks complicated, but it's not. It's mostly made in one bowl, then cooked in one pan and then you just take the cake out of the oven and pour the frosting on top. EVERYONE loves this cake.

Use pecans instead of walnuts.
These are delicious and very easy to make. :D Note - I usually make a half batch because otherwise you'll have a ton. Although they do freeze quite nicely!
I recommend egg drop soup - no chewing required, still has lots of protein.
According to AllRecipes, this one is pretty good.
Egg Drop Soup
Ingredients
1 cup chicken broth
1/4 teaspoon soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon cornstarch (optional)
2 teaspoons water (optional)
1 egg, beaten
1 drop yellow food coloring (optional)
1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper (optional)
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce and sesame oil. Bring to a boil. Stir together the cornstarch and water to dissolve cornstarch; pour into the boiling broth. Stir gently while you pour in the egg and yellow food coloring if using. Season with chives, salt and pepper before serving.
Here is a great place to start with vegetarian recipes, and it even has a section where you enter which ingredients you have, and they will find recipes to build a meal around them. Good luck!
What has all those ingredients in it? Nothing. I'm sorry but I did try.
Incredibly forgiving, incredibly easy, freezes beautifully.
The only change I make is that I roast all the veggies instead of cooking them. Just toss in a little oil, spread on a foil lined baking pan and roast till softish (30 min?). I think it would also stand up well to improvisation. If you have an immersion blender, that works great, but I'm sure a regular blender or food processor would be just fine.
"No he tenido sopapillas desde el verano pasado cuando estaba en Nuevo México. Ahora, las quiero más que nunca. ¿Alguién sepa una buena receta?"
Google Translate is poopy :( This might help. Also, this.
I've used this recipe, subbing a lot of chili flakes for the whole chilies, fresh ginger, and left out the peanut oil in the sauce and it turned out pretty good. I also just dusted some chicken thigh pieces with cornstarch and browned them in a skillet instead of deep frying them. I haven't had restaurant chinese in a while (still finding a decent restaurant) but it was good.
Crazy Cake - a Depression Era recipe that is incidentally vegan.
I LOVE to bake, but this is the only chocolate cake I've ever liked.
Hop on BetterWorldBooks or Half.com and get her some vegan cookbooks or low-fat vegetarian recipes (often fairy free if low-fat)
Great recipe, I do something very similar. This one is pretty good as well, but not very spicy. Add cayenne or Habanero Tabasco.
OP, basically a buffalo wing sauce is just butter and a vinegar based hot sauce (like Louisiana Hot Sauce, Crystal, Frank's, or Tabasco--although Tabasco seems to be too concentrated for most). In my experience, the ratio of butter to hot sauce ranges from 1:2 to 1:1 depending on the recipe.
The first just omit the chicken, the second use vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
Bonus tip for carnivores: We call the second recipe Bacon Soup at my house, so...render 6 pieces of bacon in the bottom of the soup pot, drain so only 1TBSP of grease remains... cook soup and add crumbled bacon back in at the end.
Is this the pepper jelly you speak of? http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pepper-Jelly/detail.aspx
Late summer, ask around in the farmers market for the ugly peppers they can't sell at the normal price, or negotiate a price beforehand for a larger amount. Make your fucking pepper jelly and can it, so then you have it all year.
Use the hersheys special dark cocoa. and mix it with the oil first to help it "bloom". it makes a more chocolaty flavor and less alkaloid. also when i make this (american measurements ) http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/chocolate-oil-cake/detail.aspx
I have also used lemon juice or anything acidic when i had no vinegar.
This dip is actually really really good and I get requests to make it a lot. Here's the link to the original recipe. A few things:
I had to look up quorn. Here's a recipe based on black beans, that has gotten good reviews:

It might be that your burgers need some bread crumbs or rolled oats to absorb more of the liquid.
Just bought one and donated $5 to you. Can't wait to get it.
To everyone else wanting to order it. You can get 25% off at lulu using the coupon code APRILREAD. Always check RetailMeNot first. I think that coupon is valid until the 30th, so hurry the fuck up and buy one!
>Salmonella enteritidis can contaminate the contents of clean, intact shell eggs as a result of infections of the reproductive tissue of laying hens.
