Press release for anyone who is interested.
Also I am considering having a prize for the best performance if a few of the losers get involved. Me? I can't sing for shite.
I must admit I am really curious about the meat puppets and vaselines covers. I'm also a big fan of Jeff the brotherhood so hopefully they'll do something special. The telekensis track seems a bit too close to the original.
Edit: Just found the link to the Jeff the brotherhood track. I like it, also there is a link in the article to the Spin FB page where you can download the album as of tomorrow.
Hahaha......I feel old I was born in 1978. I was 13 or 14 and went to a concert with my dad. A band named Nirvana was playing. I was in awe at the music, but also there was a familiarity in the lyrics. "This Kurt guy really gets it." I thought. The next day I bought every Nirvana album I could find. Then got into other great bands like Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Mudhoney. The day Kurt died was hard on most of the young fans of Nirvana and it was a tragic loss that the music industry has yet to recover from. There hasn't been any bands with that kind of impact since and I doubt that there will ever be again. That one single noght is the reason I became a musician. Here's our site if interested.....keep rocking.
I had it as well! Was my second copy from playing out the first one haha. But it's a special edition that comes with a CD-ROM that has behind the scenes footage.
Doesn't cost much either! I found a copy on Amazon here for $3.65 if you want a copy of it!
Than you! It's a favorite of my small, yet growing collection. You should be able to get it here
This show really was shot on film and released on bluray.

When I post links on Reddit they usually get removed. Searching for Nirvana Podcast on your podcast app should do the trick. It's also right here: https://castbox.fm/episode/Nirvana-Podcast-S2-E08---Nirvana-and-The-Beatles-id2115615-id366722108?utm_source=website&utm_medium=dlink&utm_campaign=web_share&utm_content=Nirvana%20Podcast%20S2%20E08%20-%20Nirvana%20and%20The%20Beatles-C...
This is my current band. We're a three piece alternative band, but grunge is what got me to pick up a guitar in the first place and I think it comes through a bit.
No I don't know anything about them other than they were on a compilation album: https://www.discogs.com/Various-Q-Are-We-Not-Men-A-We-Are-Demo/release/7632811
Just something I found on newest submissions tagged grunge Bandcamp and saw it was from 1995 and gave it a listen.
FUCK! Just googled to see where you could buy a shirt.
Don't force it. Sometimes a few words will pop into your head that sounds good. Write them down. I use Keep on my phone. You can also access via the Web or Chrome. Saves to the cloud as well.
Another thing I find helps is, if I've got a good chord progression or riff, try different sounds. Clean, with distortion, with fuzz, with phaser, etc. Just a change in sound can stir something.
