I occasionally do some paint and bodywork in my garage so I wanted a cover for my new US General roller cabinet anything marketed for a toolbox was $130+ I found this on Amazon for about $50 and it literally fits perfect with both handles installed thought some others might be interested https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08YP7QR3Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_E9PVXVPZ3SDQC0F4QZXX?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&pldnSite=1
Being as they are all on clearance, they are probably about to be phased out. So they won't have any support anymore. Try this one instead.
Just spend 20 bucks more and get some reputable ones...why risk it?

Got these and they seem pretty solid. It also seems like nearly all of them are made in the same 2 or 3 factories....
The 150 is the better bet because it's clip on, instead of cigarette lighter. But if you're gonna pay retail prices, might as well just go this route https://www.amazon.com/Viair-00088-88P-Portable-Compressor/dp/B005ASY23I
Way overpriced for just needing airbags.
This is a very powerful monodirectional scanner:
I stand by this scanner, and I recommend it to customers as a professional mechanic.
You're going to want a surface cleaner attachement like this, which is designed for low pressure and low flow washers like the Portland. You'll need the Ryobi adapter to go from the twist lock connector to a 1/4" quick connector too, but trust me, you really want that if you buy the washer anyway!
What makes you think it's inflated? I think it's still very adequately priced for what it is. The closest thing I can find is this one that's supposedly a Sunex (but it's missing the stickers and badges in the picture?) but it's a little smaller, has much lower weight capacity, and only has a 1 year warranty.
I think this is why the other commenter said pricey.

I just bought these workbench casters for under $30 and installed them last weekend. They work great and give me the best of both worlds: portability and stability.
Same specs, 194$. California Air. Anything else with similar specs is going to be loud. You are paying for the quiet factor.

I will say I do not own those but if my ancient matco stands wear out those us jacks are the only one I will buy. From what I can find they are the only American made jack stand. Expensive but it's worth the price of not getting crushed by a car because of an inferior weld made by someone at re education camp #783.
I'm not intimately familiar with this item, but the camel seems to have some price history which indicates its up in price a little bit.

It is a new game in town with battery adapter plates. It used to be you would buy into a companies battery system and use the tools that fit. now you can get adapter plates that let you use your battery system with other tools.

I got a pair of pro-lift double locking jacks from Amazon and they’re very well built. Here’s the link Pro-LifT T-6903D Double Pin Jack Stand - 3 Ton, 1 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074R12H5H/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_EdIKFbX2BH27P
I’m not a fan of it. Mostly because you can get a pneumatic one from amazon for $70-80

All bar-type flaring tools suck. What you actually want is an inline flaring tool like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DO9142G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_iS4NCbNPPK1P6
Inline style tools make flaring infinitely easier, especially when working in tight spaces on an existing line.
PSA: you probably could’ve gotten a flaring tool as a loaner with refundable deposit from NAPA. Most auto parts stores in the US do free loans on specialty tools. It’s why I don’t own things like spring compressors.
I haven't yet received anything, but it looks like others are also receiving more than they expected. https://slickdeals.net/f/9874912-harbor-freight-class-action-settlement-get-cash-back-or-gift-cards-for-purchases-made-from-4-8-11-12-15-16?v=1&page=24
I got this set about 6 months ago. Grypmat ripoffs. They're very nice though, and they stack. They look like the exact same things /u/Neo-Neo posted.
I have one of these and it is a good soldering iron. It gets pretty hot. It has a blade attachment that might suit your needs.
I HIGHLY reccomend a set of casters like this.
They flip so you can have the table on the ground so you don't have to fuck around with brakes.
I don’t care for locking casters, I put this type on everything

Picked up a PowerTec 20’ flex hose from Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LPOR42M/ It’s nice and seems very thick. Works very well with the dc and a 2” reducer at the very end for my table saw.
I picked one up on amazon 2 weeks ago, but it is no longer available. Atima Magnetic Oil Dipstick Fits Yamaha Ef2000iSv2 EF2200iS Wen 56200i Atima AY2000i,Champion 73536i,Rainier R2200i AT-MOD2000 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06W9HKRV1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_TmOjDbJ7JYJX9
Yeah, I noticed the new socket rails when I stopped in Monday night. Don't appear to be on the web site yet. I don't remember the price, but it didn't seem outlandish to me. Though I'm looking at the price for the ones I recently bought on Amazon and I don't think HF was beating that price. In fact, I'm thinking it maybe been $12.99 for the 1/2" rail at HF vs. $10.99 on Amazon. The fact that I can get the Amazon ones in different colors would make me choose them even at an equivalent price. I want all my SAE storage to be red and my metric to be blue or black.

I got these on amazon and it comes with 6 bars and it lights up my whole shop. They have a 20% off coupon on amazon right now for it too. I figured it was a better deal than the braun light.
If you're doing hollowing, the best thing you can pick up is a set of cheapo carbides. I have a set of Roman Carbide bits and they've worked quite well for woodturning.
The edge lasts forever, they're easy to sharpen with a diamond hone, and they evacuate chips efficiently enough to bore into most materials on a lathe without trouble. Hands down, they've saved me me countless hours on the lathe.
They are absolute garbage at cutting clean, precise holes though, so if you would need to cut a smaller hole and then shave it true. Same goes for flatwork, they don't make nice clean holes.
I got a dewalt corded impact, I was thinking oh it'll be more powerful than a cordless cuz its got unlimited energy. Couldn't even take off my lug nuts.
I was really gunshy about buying my dewalt dcf899h after that and was relieved to find out the marketing wank was correct about it. It's lasted me 3 years in a tire shop and can bust most any nut.
I had those and ended up returning them the next day. I didn't like how flimsy they were and how I didn't have all the sockets to fill them up. Then I ordered these
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B019S583TC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_.lfmFbJRJ7T47
And I love them. I have the Quinn socket sets in all sizes, deep and shallow and Metric and SAE so I got a set of red rails and blue rails to match the sockets. You can also buy more nubs to fit more sockets on the rails but I bought some kobalt rails for my oddball sockets and extensions and just swapped the leftover nubs to the Olsa rails.
I have the $99 flux core welder. I just needed to stick metal together. Didn't need to be pretty. And it does a damn good job of that. By the time I burned my first spool, I had mastered that machine. For making functional junk from the scrap pile and getting work done, it's a good welder. For pretty welds from that machine, buy a can of Spatter Spatter on Amazon.
I'd rate this welder a solid 7/10. It's not great, but it works every time I flip the switch.
I bought it on 4/25 after I saw that deal too! Watched about every youtube video that I could find. I also order this a thumb attachment for it Universal Thumb Attachment. This Amazon link has a picture of someone having it installed. I went to eBay and got it for $140 and its coming this weekend.
My order on harbor freight still says pending though. I wonder how much longer it will take. I’ll let you know as yours should be right behind mine.
I would also start looking into the greasing videos on youtube. The main pin is difficult but people have some good tricks for getting grease in there. Also make sure to get 5 gallons of high quality hydraulic fluid as I’ve seen cheaper ones gunk up the controls. Tractor supply has Traveler’s which seems to be good.
Hey I am the guy who originally posted about using Dewalt Batteries in the Bauer stuff. I've been using the string trimmer for a few weeks now and I love it! Make sure to use a coupon when buying it. I've got the blower, string trimmer and the hedge trimmer and really like them all so far, I use the blower almost every day. My only issue with the string trimmer is that I was it was a bit taller. Other than that I would definitely buy it again.

Oh and It's super easy to mod it to work with the batteries BTW. Just check out my older thread on this sub.

So, I have this thing
After doing a lot of research online I got the Forney Easy Weld 140 and can't recommend it enough.
If you're patient and look around you can get them fairly cheap, I picked mine up for less than $150. It was advertised as used but I think the previous owner bought it and never used it or it was a display model.
Anyway, great welder for the money!

We have an assortment of the HF utility carts at work and they have been fine. As others have stated, just don't expect them to live up to their rated capacity without some issue.

I just received this one off Amazon about 15 minutes ago, just haven't had the chance to assemble it. It's also larger than the one you showed so you can get an equitably sized one for less than this one. It does say it's discontinued but apparently there is still stock of them (ordered it last week).
If all you're after is the ratchet and extension you can't beat the $34 RFB400K (amazon) from VIM Tools.
https://www.amazon.com/Prestacycle-T-Handle-Ratchet-Extension-Only/dp/B07F42ZF9B?
same thing except no flex head and no bits.
If you don’t need the bits and just want the driver the RFB400K on Amazon is pretty good.
Personally was looking at this one myself literally just today https://www.amazon.com/mophie-Powerstation-Rugged-USB-Smartphones/dp/B09253V4DD/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=ikNtk&content-id=amzn1.sym.e4bd6ac6-9035-4a04-92a6-fc4ad60e09ad&pf_rd_p=e4bd6ac6-9035-4a04-92a6-fc4ad60e09ad&pf_rd_r=PRQ1YVVAEJ...
VIM Tools RFB400K available on Amazon for just the ratchet, extension, and 1/4” socket adapter.
USAG Kit available at GriotsGarage for an almost identical kit to the Harbor Freight variant, albeit more expensive.
This kit on Amazon is nearly identical, except some of the bits have been swapped for sockets, as you plan to do. Combing through the reviews, looks as though most people also have bought it for a motorcycle travel tool kit.
They have auto-drains that open on a timer on amazon. Bought one years ago and it still randomly vents like a champ. You never have to think about it again.
They also have silencers to cut the noise down like 90%
I've used this one for more than a decade. I haven't found a more space efficient option. I think I bought it originally at sears?
My only beef is that I'd love one for larger sizes as well
serious question...how do the icons compare to a kit like this for 50 bucks after 10% off? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RNKDGP8/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I know they may not have a life time warranty but the Icon stuff seems overpriced. keep in mind i did get a gold icon ratchet. In my defense it was for a coworker i work with in the trades that retired. I figure it beat a gold watch.
I'm going to suggest Plastic razor blades if you try this method again.
> Olsa Tools
These are awesome, but anyone notice in the pix on Amazon that all the sockets are 8-sided? What with that, does such a thing really exist? Maybe now I have a reason to buy yet more tools? (Ha! Like I need a reason).
Watching videos and reading comments trying to decide between Braun & ICON. Went to Amazon and found this. Probably crap quality, but maybe as good as the Braun? Looks a lot like the ICON form factor. And you get 2 for $15….????
I got a Yost which looks like the Forge but is much higher quality. It occasionally goes on sale for $99... so if you are not in a hurry to get it, just wait for a sale and buy it.
I recommend using Keepa which will notify you when it hits the price on Amazon that you are looking for, and you can install a browser plugin and see a price history of items on Amazon too.
There are a lot of people that are gonna flag you away because HF had a recall a few years ago on their jack stands for welds failing and the jacks failing in a few situations.
Terrifying? Absolutely. That said there are two ways to view that situation:
The choice is yours, but I think almost all jack stands are made overseas today, so it's not like you're gonna find something made here. US Jack is made in the usa, but the design makes me nervous to be honest and they are also $226 (link to amazon).
I’d your just trying to trim your dogs nails, I recommend this from Amazon Casfuy dog nail grinder it works really well, easy to use and is very quiet compared to dremels or rotary tools.
The price per gram removed was much lower with cubitron, it is just the upfront cost per disk and the number of disks you need to buy from most seller you end up paying$34 per grit size.
However check out this assortment that gives you 2 disks each of 6 grits for $10.

I bought this one in December of 21
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C25C4CQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Had a leak by the plunger. Was pretty disappointed. Contacted the company and they immediately sent me a kit with a new plunger and new seals. Took all of 5 minutes to repair.
It works great. Same batteries since December. Still showing all bars on the battery life.
If anyone else bought the Bauer 3 Gallon Wet Dry Vac SKU: 64753 and Model: 1952E-B3
I just installed the Stanley 25-1201 Blue Cloth Reusable Filter with Clamp Ring for 1-5 Gallon Wet/Dry Vacuums, Compatible with SL18910P-3, SL18130P, SL18133, SL18129 filter from Amazon and it fit perfectly.

Don't cheap out on Torque wrenches. I recommend ordering a Precision instruments split beam. Same manufacturer as Snap-On with a dial for setting torque. No need to set it to 0 after each use.
https://www.amazon.com/Precision-Instruments-PREC3FR250F-Silver-Torque/dp/B002XMSFIM
Same manufacturer, but I haven't used that exact model.
This is the one I've been using and have had good results with. https://www.amazon.com/Vgate-Bluetooth-Scanner-Android-Compatible/dp/B06XGB4873
keep the icons but put these in the cart too...sick reviews. thanks man
I was contemplating the m12 under hood light, but at $200 on sale around here I decided to give this one a try instead. I’ll snag another icon light, and I have two fiet rechargeable lights that work awesome with the icon bar
How’s the battery life with a 3.0 on the m12 under hood light?
For EDC, I want something small, varying light levels, and easily rechargeable. I carry the Nitecore TINI 2 on my keychain. It's smaller than my car fob, has a lockout feature so there's no accidental button push, USB-C rechargeable, and has a cool screen that let's me know exactly how much runtime I have left so there's no battery anxiety. It's plenty bright for EDC usage.
Depends on what size and options you want, but I love my Streamlight Stylus Pro. Takes AAA batteries but that's not an issue for me as my 18650 charger I use with the Braun slim folding lights also charges those. There is a USB rechargeable version if that's your thing, but it costs twice as much.
I've been using the brass Milton V couplers and plugs for about 4 years now, only had to replace one coupler due to wear on the O-ring. Any of the multi style couplers will eventually have O-ring wear as it seals the different sizes and styles of plugs.
2 couplers and 4 plugs is $15 on Amazon or you can buy them individually.

If you don't want to replace the A19 sockets, you could go with these.
I have the same cart that u/Jackalope121 linked to and used it for awhile but now I'm using this (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B093Z5YNYP) which is working out really nicely. I liked it enough to surprise my brother with one for last xmas. It's strong, moves really easily and no complaints at this time.
I would consider using those panels to charge a LiFePO4 battery such as this one: GoLabs R300
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08P5SFV4D?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I have a 100w panel from GoLabs that works great with this battery. Im sure your panels will do the same.
I tried the 5500 lumen shop lights, but wound up returning them. There’s a ~1/2 second delay from when you turn on the wall switch to when the lights come on, it just bothered me too much. I wound up buying some from Amazon that are “instant on,” cost less, and produce a less harsh light because of a built-in diffuser.
Let me point out two things: the single hyper tough pry bars are made in usa and are really good, the set for $13 is trash. The $2 Picks from HF are crap (not really surprising), the more expensive ones are too thick, Icon set looks okay. For a budget option get the $6 Ullman instead: https://amazon.com/Ullman-Polished-Aluminum-Handles-Workshop/dp/B008Z67WV6/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?crid=3J3APAD0OD57J&keywords=ullman+pick+set&qid=1656895642&sprefix=ullman%2Caps%2C459&sr=8-6
The more expensive Ullman set is the same set tool trucks sell, There are couple more sets in this series with more types of picks: https://amazon.com/Ullman-CHP6-L-overall-length-inches/dp/B000M9NESE/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?crid=3J3APAD0OD57J&keywords=ullman+pick+set&qid=1656895642&sprefix=ullman%2Caps%2C459&sr=8-3
or something like https://www.lowes.com/pd/ICECO-ICECO-TR45-1-589-cu-ft-Refrigerator-and-Freezer-with-SECOP-Danfoss-Compressor/5005554147
I've got this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q72H2C7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It can be either a freezer or a fridge and on eco mode will only draw 30 watts.
Can be powered by either a 12V source or a 120V source. I like it a lot. Primarily use it for camping so no ice is needed, but when my son's freezer failed, he used it until he could get it replaced. Worked just fine. Using it right now for a beverage cooler, works fantastic.
I bought these https://www.amazon.com/Metric-TIGHTSPOT-Ratcheting-Wrenches-MASTER/dp/B079N8R6VY?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1
Used once, works fine. Return policy is pretty easy, snap a pic and they will send you a new one.
Mine failed last week, could have been a similar situation had I not caught it. I was pumping it and heard weird hiss, I instinctively reached down and pulled on the relief valve, only to notice air rushing against my knuckles. It had developed a crack in the body, it could have certainly blown out with more pressure. I kept mine out of the sun, in storage when not in use. I figured mine was a combination of cheap old plastic and heat fatiguing the thing.
OP, if you’re looking for a good unit, check this one out https://www.amazon.com/VIVOSUN-Pressure-Adjustable-Shoulder-Included/dp/B07L4Q3MVY/ref=mp_s_a_1_14_sspa?crid=VNS3I0O5IEJ0&keywords=pump+sprayer&qid=1654574206&sprefix=pump+s%2Caps%2C676&sr=8-14-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVk...

I know that doesn't really answer your question directly, but I wanted to give you a known working combination

There is a better 25 mm bearing set that is available on Amazon... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076X5QZGK?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I have a grease-packed set on standby, since they are a nonstandard size and I take the trailer across Wyoming, Utah and Nevada. But I packed the original bearings with good grease (a must) and they seem to be holding up okay.
You don't "NEED" flame resistant sleeves. But you will burn your arms and clothes without them. Especially doing out of position work.

I primarily use mine for washing my cars.

Having busted a wheel running over the lip at the end of my garage that transitions about 3/4" to the driveway over and over during a suspension swap (and many times before that), I finally managed to break one of the middle wheels off my Pittsburgh Creeper.
I kicked around buying something sturdier like the Lisle creeper, but it didn't look all that beefy in the pix and I couldn't find it or anything like it locally.
I saw the Icon creeper on the site in the "New Products" section, and was already heading to HF for something else. A quick inspection in the store showed it to be really sturdy, much beefier wheels attached in four places (vs. two for the Pittsburgh) and with some padding for the back and shoulders that might be nice. $80 is a bit on the steep side IMHO - I feel like a lot of the Icon stuff is priced-for-coupon or Inside Track discounts, but comparing it to the (very well-reviewed) Lisle it does offer some additional features for the money.
I've only had a bit of time on it so far, but very happy with it - the combination of the padding and rigidity is definitely a different feel than the Pittsburg, and a welcome upgrade.

Save yourself the headache and get an actual JIS screwdriver. I own a few of these and it is absolutely the best screwdriver you can buy hands down. You'll never strip any screw again, JIS or not.

My basic rule is if there is a more powerful version I'll get that based on cost but there are all just about 3amps, some a bit under.
$40 sucks for a bauer they were selling those for like $26 every week for a while a few months ago. If you can wait I'd give it some time to see if it goes down and you really want the bauer if not I'd just get another brand, skil has a 2.8amp on amazon for $27 I didn't read the reviews so don't know if there is a game breaking flaw there.

I have the bauer and a cordless ryobi the bauer obviously has much more power than the ryobi. If I needed to replace the bauer right now I'd really look at other options instead of paying $40 for a $30 sander that was on sale for $26 just a few months ago.
