Rclone supports encryption, most of us on the plan use rclone with encrypted drives. Solves all issues in that regards. Is end to end encrypted. I and dropbox will not be able to access your data, even with a warrant.
OP, you may want to rethink price. Amazon has the same model, brand new-in-box, for $550 (and ships for free).

I tend to pay $17-$18 per 8GB on eBay. This particular box is running 48GB of Hynix HMT31GR7BFR4C-H9. The most I have (and will) pay is $20/8GB.
Just last night I picked up 32GB for $70.
My trick is to set an IFTTT trigger for my search query and I get notified as soon as an item is posted to eBay.
Used this for a couple of builds for small clients. $207 with prime. I have something similar to this for my OPNsense install. I love it.
I've found the most cost effective way to ship drives is putting them in a plastic ESD clam case and then wrapping them in bubble wrap. I had a buddy ship me 8 drives and this was the way we went because of price. He shipped me 8 drives and after bubble wrap and the clam shell is comes to like $1 a drive for the packaging.

So no drives included? Few things, These units are basically ticking timebombs with their known processor issue. Unless your 1515+ has already been sent in for repairs you price is high.
Amazon has them NEW for $646 Slap some RAM in there and call it a day at $750.
Realistically I'd price it at $700 + Shipping (local pickup)
I just bought two DLA1500RM2Us from an Ebay store (epcsales), both were well packed and appeared to be tested by the seller. They were ~$150 each, then I bought a 4 pack of 9AH 12V batteries on Amazon for $79.
I found a couple of AP9631 SNMP cards for $54 & $78 each.
Before it dawned on me to check Craigslist and eBay, I picked up this 25U off Amazon. Also got the wheel kit... Have had it for nearly four years, no complaints so far. Wish it was a little taller, but where it resides, a "real" rack wouldn't fit... I need like a 36U...

May want to adjust your price a little bub..it's cheaper on amazon:
I don't have one, but I have two 6610s. The 6610s have only two fan speeds, they are not configurable, and they don't like aftermarket fans - they're true datacenter, tor switches. That said, after a very loud boot, mine both stay at low fan speed almost all the time.
The 6610-48P with front-to-back fans idles at ~49dB from ~3ft away according to Sound Meter on my Samsung S9+. The 6610-24 with back-to-front fans idles at ~45dB with the same conditions. When they're angry (temp gets too hot or booting), you're looking at ~67dB.
Furthermore, there are three revisions of the power supplies (A-C) and I think the same for the fan assys, which some say makes a big difference, but in my limited experience doesn't seem to, and (for some silly reason?) they don't all have the same, non-configurable, temp at which they kick the fans to high speed. All in all, if the 6650s are like the 6610s, they'll probably be a mixed bag, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how tolerable mine are. If you have any 11th gen Dell servers or similar, you probably won't even hear these distinctly.
I'm strongly fighting the urge to pick up one of these; I just don't need it with 6610s already.

What I use for my homelab along with a PiKVM. Don't even have to get up and unlock the server cab. There is a plugin for PiKVM specifically on setting up this switch - it just sends data to port 5000 on the KVM to switch the inputs.
That's probably a tall order.
I just found this on google for a kinda unbelievably low price:
https://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Port-Switch-Virtual-Media/dp/B001U7FZLQ
I haven't used them though. I don't know if it's a mistake. I don't know if that item is available where you are.
Good luck.
I'm actually looking at some servers(5ish) to stuff harddrives into. Much cheaper than getting true NAS enclosures, but I do not think we have enough power to turn them all on, (in an apartment), so co-location is next. Just need to get the funds, and then the approval...
Ahoy!
I might be a stupid bot, but you seem to be missing a price on your post. All sale posts are required to list a price. If you are linking to an auction site, you still need a price, but you can put your desired target price, current price, base price, or whatever is helpful. But you need a price.
If you are missing a price, YOUR POST WILL BE REMOVED! So PLEASE, quickly edit your post and list a price. Do not post a comment with the price as it needs to be in the original post.
If you do already have a listed price and I could not parse it, sorry for the confusion.

$44 per from Amazon; work well... I don't think you are going to find used ones for a whole lot cheaper. They are inherently expensive :\
Yeah, I was thinking these had multiple ethernet and was rackable, like this. Without that, it's literally only a JBOD, instead of NAS/SAN lite.
If I could get that I'd sell them all day long... ;)
We must be thinking of different things - these are 250 to 300 new on Amazon.
From my previous research you will need a external SAS card and this cable, LINK.
$50? $75?
You can buy new cabinets like that for not too much - like $115 or sometimes less if you search amazon carefully.

So something akin to this? Yea I have a few laying around. When last I checked shipping was like $20 so $80 total?. No video output so you will need a console cable to install PFSense/OPNSense.
I do not have Gb internet so can not vouch for how well it will hold up when you start taxing the CPU. For my 400Mb connection it tends to hover around 1%-25%. Higher when generating Zenarmor graphs and reports.
I have some spare batteries. Would they work in the SmartUPS1500? I would just need to buy one more battery. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K9N5A94/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_MFJ24PVYFJBBGW0NK6SN?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Mikrotik has some good SFP+ solutions for pretty inexpensive, but you’ll need to get transceivers if you want to do RJ45. I used this one ($150] with DAC cables: https://www.amazon.com/MikroTik-CRS305-1G-4S-Gigabit-Ethernet-RouterOS/dp/B07LFKGP1L/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2P4E5K1E2CILU&keywords=Mikrotik+8+port+sfp%2B&qid=1664045448&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjUzIiwicXNhIjoiMC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjAuMDAifQ%3D%3D&spref...
If you are looking for managed RJ45 semi-cheapist stuff Netgear seems to be the way to go. Amazon has a pretty nice page (just click on the Smart or Plus "size" on the Amazon page for managed stuff):

Any idea if these would work w/an older HP Z820? As per the lshw command, I'm currently using 8GiB DIMM DDR3 Synchronous Registered (Buffered) 1600 MHz.
Thanks so much- if these work, then I'll definitely want them. Also, trying to do my own research, too.

Thanks! for what it's worth, I use this box from Amazon and then ship the servers with UPS through PirateShip.com, and it usually comes out to about $115 for both of those with taxes, shipping fees and insurance fees. It takes a lotta packing tape but that's the only drawback.
I'm using these ones from amazon with my s2500 right now:

Personally I would go with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Firewall-Appliance-Celeron-MOGINSOK/dp/B09WYQKHZV
I have a similar unit (with 1Gb ports) and it's been rock solid for the last two years, but if I were to get a new one today I would want 2.5GbE (or better) for futureproofing.

Hey holding on to it for now, probably wouldn't be worth the shipping cost it's just this one:
Zero issues, I actually ran it on a step-up transformer since I didn't have easy 220 in the house. Not the most elegant solution but ran surprisingly well.

If you don't care about spending an extra $25, Ubiquiti sells them directly on amazon for $40 over the price on UI.com. They just want to scalp their own products.
Since UI.com doesn't have free shipping anymore, the cost from it is $215 to $220 bucks. Might just be worth giving in and buying it on amazon. At least then you will get prime shipping.
This is 4k and 5x zoom for 249 new....
I think maybe 200 is the high end? Reolink seems to be hit or miss with video quality and firmware. To me, 150-175 is a stretch.

Thank you for the response. Looking up eBay posts for the same item I think you’re priced well. I’ll need to spend more for a power adapter cable and the NIC. it looks like the NIC itself is $40+ from older posts. Kind of puts me slightly above my budget. Considering something like this
I just removed this rack from a business in 60014 ... PM me offer if interested we could work a meet sometime this week (dont know your location or timeframe)

I been looking for something similar and found this on Amazon I haven’t purchase it so can’t say much about its quality but it looks very similar to the U-NAS case so I assume probably the same vendor therefore quality must be somewhat similar. Do note that this just the case nothing else.

Something like this is what you're looking for.
If you currently have an PERC6 in your system you will want to purchase a H200 and the proper internal cables to connect it to your backplane. The cables you need are SFF-8087 to SFF-8087 in 1m length (https://www.amazon.com/10Gtek-Internal-SFF-8087-Sideband-0-5-Meter/dp/B01B7N680E?th=1). If you already have an H700 in your system you do not need the cables. Alternatively you can use an H310 also.
I just ordered the below link about an hour ago for some Dell lff/3.5in sleds a friend sent me for free, but the cheapskate didn't includ screws /s. If your sleds are sff/2.5in there is a different thread size .
This is standard thread for lff/3.5in and the low profile head is pretty commonly used with drive sleds. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TQ6S7XF
T340 is great. I bought a new CPU for mine for more horsepower and just upped the memory past the 64GB supported limit to 80GB.
1x32GB and 3x16GB RAM is working well. Seems like up to 128GB would work but I don’t have enough to 32GB sticks!

Yeah. I recently shipped some gear with these boxes though. May not be the cheapest solution, but they worked well enough.
Do you know if this ram works with this server? I have this ram in a 7402P server but on a supermicro board, curious if you know if it will work on this board or not.
Loving on these at $277/ea, refurbs from Seagate. Says less than 50 hours. All mine came up zero.
You could try one of these. It will power both M.2 slots from the PCIe slot, you can boot off the M.2 SATA SSD, and you can also use a non-boot M.2 PCIe SSD in the other slot now or in the future. There's also a 3-in-1 with an additional mSATA slot.
I know these are not enterprise grade but they are brand new, inexpensive and reliable:

I like these inexpensive drives for running Linux on EOL'ed Optiplex 7010's and 7020's, it brings them back to life and makes them useful again.

I'm looking for a reason to swap my Intel i5-6500 + 2x 1 Gbps ITX motherboard for something like this at some point.
Amazon has something comparable (The CPUs are close to a wash, your i3-9100 is faster, but uses 4x more power. Both 4 cores). The ram is half of yours on Amazon, and neither one mentioned storage, so both will have to buy them to be usable. Honestly, bump it up to $500 plus shipping, and that's the lowest I would try to sell it. You might even be able to get up to $600, but doubt much more than that.
For the MikroTik
Amazon[CA]: https://www.amazon.ca/MikroTik-Desktop-Gigabit-Ethernet-CRS309-1G-8S/dp/B07NFXN4SS
Sorry I forgot how to make short Amazon links.
I double-checked the model and the seller to make sure I wasn't imagining it and it looks correct.
Don’t like to be that guy, but these same drives are shucked out of a Seagate Portable 5TB External Hard Drive HDD. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VS8QCXC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_J84AEVXZCCZ1EDHQXG46?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
On Amazon for $99+free shipping and same day delivery… and when I purchased one last week (and shucked it) they were $89.
Also I guess they are SMR if that matters to anyone.
Unfortunately, it's a little pricey compared to some options on Amazon:
Not trying to be a downer, just comparing prices.

Have some shame.
I have been super happy with the Mikrotik CRS305-1G-4S+IN I just bought which came in at $136. 10Gb optics from 10GTek are around $20 so that's slightly over $150 but pretty darn close. If you went with a 10G copper SFP+ which are $40-60 you're looking at just under $200 which still isn't too bad.
Unless someone has a used CRS305 for cheaper that seems to be a pretty cheap route.
It doesn't have one. Amazon PDP shows just an M.2 M-key slot for a NVMe PCI-Express x4 Gen3 drive or SATA3 SSD. No 2.5" bay. This unit hit the market about 5 years ago but have apparently held their value pretty well?
I think I have exactly what you are looking for. Milwaukee area.

Hey, so I have a R720xd, so I can't say that everything here will apply to your 730.
But my experience was ordering the wrong part because I didn't realize there would be different cables for the 2.5" chassis vs 3.5" chassis. They used different angles on each end and I think actually route on different sides of the chassis. So basically I would double check that you are buying the right one. In my case, the wrong cable physically would not be usable due to the plastic molding conflicted with metal of the chassis.
In the end, I actually bought this somewhat generic cable on Amazon for $10 which works just fine. Again, just verifying the angle on each end would be physically workable with the case. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08C2GN2KF/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_F2PR26RSZKDFHBKSFCY1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Of course buying the exact OEM part number is a good option as well albeit probably more expensive.
It'll be important to know which side of those SFF-8087 to Sata breakout cables is the host side. Since they are directional, your post needs to include that information.
Also, why would I pay $25 per cable + shipping when I can buy them new off of Amazon for around $9-$12 with free shipping?

Apologies for the delay. Just checked and I do have 6. Checking ebay those go for around $45 CAD. Does $35 CAD work for you?
Yes, unbuffered ECC does go for a premium. Buffered is dirt cheap these days.
Not sure if you're yet aware but at least for the MR18's if the WAPs are at or past firmware 25.11 (which I believe was awhile ago) you might have to jump through significant hoops to flash them: https://openwrt.org/toh/meraki/mr18. That's what I ran into when I started looking into doing something with my expired Meraki stuff. But if you know what you're in for already then more power to ya.
