Right off the bat, its unclear what this idea is.
It does, however, inspire a lot of great thoughts about where you may want to go with this thing. It sounds like an awesome way of switching between social media websites with an interesting user Interface and a lot more.
You asked for ideas so here they are:
Make it a framework for organizing your login credentials as well as website content/the internet.
Instead of using flash, you may want to try your hand with javascript. WebGL may be the future of graphics and animation on the internet.
I think you should display at most 8 out-degree relations to each node.
I've had great results when consulting a designer about layouts before I try to make them myself. You want to get the Node shape, the line thickness and the color choice just right. As well as work out the core mechanics to an extreme accuracy. My projects start with very precise screen layouts created through collaboration with a designer. Only afterwards did I start thinking about making it happen in code. This way the code is dependent your vision, not the other way around.
Omniste.com is allready taken.
Consider finding something with a different domain.
If you do put this on github, make sure that you create a "demo website" that is connected to your node. If you want others to use this, then create an example website that is integrated with this framework.
All in all, cool idea. Let me know when you start making progress!
In case you think that Siri evaluates locally: It's a mixed local/remote evaluation, and that's not just because some stuff just needs info from the Web etc., it's also to actually understand what was said.
I'm convinced that an in-house only system could be made, but it would understand less and/or would be more expensive. Of course, certain keywords and sentences could be trained, but an emergency probably prompts a person to speak differently and also to say different things. I guess that the remote version is necessary for best language recognition.
here: https://ifttt.com/recipes/62013-if-i-like-a-track-on-soundcloud-download-that-track-in-dropbox
this is somewhat of a workaround, however only works for soundcloud tracks with an available "Download" button, not one of the external download links that routes you to a facebook page or separate download portal. if it doesnt have a download link, it will save to your dropbox as an html file, linking back to the song.
this is assuming you have an IFTTT account -- if not i highly suggest looking into this multi-purpose web tool.
I donh't know if it does everything you want but https://ifttt.com/ and https://ifttt.com/channels has alot of those feature and can send an sms message to a smart or dumb phone for just about anything, emails, alarms, stock price changes, and even when someone enters a certain room in your house if you have wemo devices. Also blink(1) is a usb device that blinks colors based on what it's settings are. Hope this helps. :)
You should visit: Geocaching.com - this is fun (like hide and seek for adults) and free, you just need something that has GPS (i use my android phone and download a free geocaching app called c:geo. There are a TON of cache's out there, and dont get upset if you dont find your first cache, it took me 4-5 tries and the help of some fellow cachers to find my first cache - and it was only about a half a mile from my house.
Also: MultiMouse
Edit: Here's a closer example: https://www.google.com/chrome/multitask.html
Edit2: Actually, now that I play with it, I'm pretty sure it was an April Fool's joke.
