I'd recommend boxer breifs. I've never seen comfortable briefs. I've really been happy with champion smart temp boxer briefs. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B1WAQBE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_EzdhBb0G7GJHYPin

Will no doubt make you a better person.
was just about to post this. not married myself, but a lot of my active friends who are married wear exactly this, they are around $9 on amazon.
This. For anyone looking for an introduction to weightlifting I can wholeheartedly recommend reading Bigger Leaner Stronger by Mike Matthews. It’s a great beginner-to-intermediate training programme with everything you need to know about building a strong body, paired with proper nutrition (which you definitely want to learn too since “abs are made in the kitchen”, as the old saying goes).
I have been using charcoal for about a year. You will notice a difference after the first time using it. It sounds weird, but it works. Here's a link to some on Amazon.. There are several different kinds available.
I HIGHLY recommend just grabbing this with Amazon Prime shipping.
For the time span you're working with, I say do it every single day week 1 for no more than 10-15 minutes. Week 2, every other day (or about 4 sessions) working up from 15-30 minutes or if you can take it, the full 45 minutes.
If there is maintenance that you can do yourself, do it yourself unless you know you are going to irreparably fuck up. You will save yourself a lot of money and gain some useful life experience to boot.
Trim your damned pubes. If she(or he!) is going to keep their bush tidy for you, you'd best be doing the same. The same thing goes for anything in a relationship. You get out of it what you put into it.
I know skybike said it, but it's worth reiterating. Surprise your SO with gifts! Don't wait until the big holiday to give her a gift, she's half-expecting it and won't be as thrilled as if you gave it to her out of the blue. Also, A good gift can be expensive, but just because it is expensive does not mean it is a good gift.
EDIT: Don't buy gifts so often that they're no longer a surprise. If your SO says "oh I like this", don't go on Amazon that night to buy it and overnight it to her house. That's creepy and she will feel like she is being bought. Note her comments of interest, but don't always act on them immediately.
Strop your razors. I just got done with a disposable razor that I had been using for four months. Every week, I would strop it with an old pair of jeans. It kept my razor nice and sharp until it just wouldn't hold an edge anymore.
My recommendation starts with Think Again: How to Reason and Argue. I signed up to this course 3 years ago but didn't participate, but now it's offered again starting soon and I intend to take the course more seriously this time around. With the very nature of Reddit and anonymous discussion leading to many back-and-forth debates (or shouting matches), I hope that this course will help me better analyze and deconstruct bad arguments and learn how to appreciate and learn from good arguments.
I lead a pretty active lifestyle and lost my expensive platinum wedding band on a hike. Lesson learned... I now basically wear a $7 silicone band a large portion of the time now, as I can't afford to lose my replacement. I have a spot in my closet where it lives most of it's life.
edit: link to the one I got
Read "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport. It really changed my way of thinking about careers when I was interning in politics post-grad. With that being said, do take it with a grain of salt as to form your own opinions.
Definitely agree with this. My favorite hobby is training bonsai trees. I can spend hours with them. It is so peaceful. Definitely recommend the hobby.
Also picked up whittling recently. For the bonsai I bought a FlexCut carving knife and started to use it on left over wood. It is very peaceful shaving off layers little by little as a piece of scrap wood morphs into an object of your choice. I've made a straight razor handle recently that I hope to use for many years to come. Makes me feel like more of a manly dad when my son one day will see it and know it was made in my hands!
Drawing is cool too. Recommend Drawing the Head and Figure by Jack Hamm to get started. It's similar to whittling, just on paper.
Another great one is mountain biking. Nothing like hitting a trail and being in nature, pumping muscle to climb each hill on the trail and then feeling the breeze on your sweaty face as you cruise the down-hills.
So yeah. This reply above is on point.
All these bags are dropshipped shit-quality bags from China. I can decisively tell you one of the bags on this website, I've seen the exact same bag from two other brands on Amazon.
Edit: One example
I had this exact issue. I like the tactile physical timer and don't like the ticking. Look for the "Time Timer MOD" on amazon. It's my favorite.
The book didnt say that guy is every millionaire. It was just an amusing anecdote.
If you think about John Q Public that runs a plumbing business, gets nasty and dirty every day, lives in a upper-middle class neighborhood and drives a plumbing van... His neighbors have no idea that he is a millionaire; hence, "The Millionaire Next Door"
Edit: they did focus groups with 500 millionaires and had surveys completed by 11,000 more.
Not bad but the glass you should taste whisky in is a Glencairn glass.
Also it's really important to give the whisky time to open up, a good 10 minutes at least. A drop of water or two (literally) can help with this too, especially with stronger whiskies e.g. those that are cask strength.

AHWOSG is a great book. Read it last winter.
Also check out Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and Awareness. Two favorite reads of mine.
Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, just to give you a sample,
>A man who becomes conscious of the responsbility he bears toward a human being who affectionately waits for him, or to an unfinished work, will never be able to throw away his life. He knows the “why” for his existence, and will be able to bear almost any how.
Having the assistance of sunlight (or lack of it) is a huge factor that you shouldn't overlook.
Shuffle it a bit if you have to, but that's what you're ultimately trying to sync up with, not just mimicking the length of the cycle. Waking up with the sun gives you a huge energy boost, and sleeping in total darkness will provide better quality sleep, as well. It becomes easier to both fall asleep (and stay asleep as long as you should) and wake up when you're in a natural sleep cycle.
If in nature, when the sun is up, you would be, too. It should go without saying that you want to maximize your natural light exposure to witness as many of those hours as possible. Get that sweet vitamin D, keep depression at bay, and use the energy it provides during the day so you crash hard at night. Repeat.
Having proper lighting for different times of day in your home will put a dent in it, too. If you don't have a lot of windows, or you work an odd schedule and have to use artificial light to simulate a day/night cycle, there are light-temperature-correct lamps you can buy, including sunrise-simulating alarm clocks. Also, install f.lux to make your computer monitor play along. That's artificial light that messes you up, too. https://justgetflux.com/
The nicest most expensive 6-pack in the place - ask whoever is working
Some exotic meat - Like lion, ostrich, etc...

Tucked. Glossy Belt. Apron on top. then add collar stays, something like this for polos: https://www.amazon.com/No-Curl-Collar-Stays-Choose/dp/B007RHF4GE?th=1&psc=1
Tips are based on service but also on perceived value. The more put together you look the better your guest will view their experience and their tip will reflect this.
If you were going on a super yacht would you want the crew to have untucked frumpy shirts or sleek and professional? I realize that you are not working on a super yacht, but if you went to a random restaurant and received super yacht service then how would you tip?
If we are going to be talking food prep, then Instant Pot. Seriously, this thing changed my life.
If you want a book that expands upon this concept, check out "So Good They Can't Ignore You" by Cal Newport. Basically talks about regardless of how you feel about your job, use it to accumulate "career capital" and "invest" that capital in things that get you closer to your goals + strategies on how to do so. Great read.
The Book of Five Rings by Musashi.
Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance by Robert Pirsig.
Edit: And Siddhartha by Heman Hesse! (Thanks to /u/uniduggin for the suggestion--it's a beautiful book!)
Too tough to narrow it down to just one-
1.The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida 2.The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joesph Campbell 3.Sacred Paths for Modern Men (a bit woo-woo, but a great read) 4.Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
If you're interested in doing some reading on the topic of meeting more woken and having successful interactions with them (whatever that may mean for you) I recommend checking out "Models" by Mark Manson.
Amazon.com https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005EOTH24?ref_=cm_sw_r_apann_ts_P02D81D9SZKHDCF0CS05
The book is explicitly against the whole pick up artist/fuccboi approach.
Get him a blackhead removal kit- using tools instead of his hands will prevent zits from getting infected and aggravating his skin.
Having a trimmer is useful for a lot of reasons- they don't get as much of a clean shave but are great for when the hair has gotten really long (when a safety razor will have trouble). The Philips Norelco Bodygroom has both a trimmer and a foil side (the foil side gets a close shave), and as the name implies can be used to groom any body hair.
may i suggest making your own a pi-hole!
It's a raspberry pi that filters out ads before they reach your computer. Not an ad blocker - an ad sinkhole.
Wiki: "Pi-hole is a Linux network-level advertisement and Internet tracker blocking application which acts as a DNS sinkhole and optionally a DHCP server, intended for use on a private network. "

i have pretty dense beard hair, and i use these two devices.
this braun foil shaver for neck or getting a pretty-smooth face
and, after much trial and error, have settled on this powerful panasonic shaver for cutting through serious bush
I grew up with a single mom and no siblings, so I know what you mean. However, I don’t think i ever let that stop me. Curiosity and a positive attitude will get you a long way. I bought books on stuff like home repair, auto repair, etc and just dove in. I still don’t follow most traditional sports like NFL, MLB, NBA, but I’ve done a whole string of adult group sports like cycling, CrossFit, shooting, and Brazilian JiuJitsu where you’re guaranteed to meet and interact with other guys. It’s awkward at first, but then you’re eventually fitting in and are “one of the guys”.
Also, take advantage of getting to see a large variety of cities in this country. So many of us are tied down to one city, easy to get in a rut. You won't always be traveling this much, so try to enjoy it while you can.
I've got Saxx, Ex Officio, and David Archie Boxer briefs to compare. Ex Officio comes in the lead for quality, materials but their support is hit or miss even within the same cut of boxer briefs. Saxx tbh was a total dud for me - fabric is a bit uncomfortable, functionally not much more support and they bunch up. David Archie was the cheapest (4 pairs for under $20 on amazon) and it has replaced the window-style willy-access panels with a round hole and cover. I thought it was ridiculous at first and refused to participate, leaving my snake in the trousers. They have shaped it to support the boys and hole/cover dealio has a secondary effect of keeping your drawers where you want em and the nuts in their pocket.
Now I am wiser and let the briefs do their job. I had a medical problem last year that forced me to support the boys 100% and briefs sucked, everything sucked till I found those David Archie drawers. We will be married come spring. Our children will never be briefed.
Amazon has a good selection of their bags.
I got this one almost 2 years ago and it still looks great. Really durable, has the professional look but is still rugged enough to take anywhere. It has a ton of storage space and little pockets too
Edit: whoops I didn’t reply to the right comment.
Edit 2: after a closer look the bag I linked is actually $15 cheeper on the ogio site
The Emperor’s Handbook is a great one as well. Considered the best book written by any living ruler.
That's their actually website. I usually order from Amazon because it's a little cheaper, and for some reason they sell multi packs on amazon, but I can't find them on their website.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMJ4XGF/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_X9mxFbRGEEWMZ
That's the multi pack I got.
Damn, that really doesn't sound fun. I know this sounds a bit wishy washy, but you can't argue with results. I had neck pain that started very light, then ramped up over the course of eight years to the point where I almost wished I wouldn't live too long because I was sure it would be a life of red hot pain. I got an x-ray, MRI, cortisone injections, physical therapy, etc. and everything came back as normal. My dad recommended a book that worked for him called Healing Back Pain by Dr. John Sarno, and it fixed my problem. I occasionally still have neck pain, but overall it went from a daily hell, to maybe something I deal with once a month and know how to handle.
Like I said, I know it sounds kinda like bs, but if you've tried everything and are willing to approach it with an open mind, it's definitely worth a shot. The reviews on Amazon echo my experience, and it's only a few bucks (there's also an audio version). https://www.amazon.com/Healing-Back-Pain-Mind-Body-Connection/dp/0446392308/
Thanks again for the feedback, and best of luck!
Buy own the day own your life .... This book will immediately change the way you go about your day EVERY DAY
Sounds like you live a decently active lifestyle. I highly recommend getting a rumble roller. Great for relieving sore muscles and keeps the body loose and feeling great. Well worth the money.

There's a book that speaks to me like a father speaking to a son, Nicomachean Ethics. I know the writer says it's not for young people, but some of its lessons were really important to me.
EDIT: Also, most books from the Inklings that I read were really important to me as a man.
EDIT2: And I just remembered O Alienista, by Machado de Assis, really important, especially in this era of censorship we are living in right now.
"Every man is what he is, because of the dominating thoughts which he permits to occupy his mind. Thoughts which a man deliberately places in his own mind, and encourages with sympathy, and with which he mixes any one or more of the emotions, constitute the motivating forces, which direct and control his every movement, act, and deed." Think and Grow Rich - Napoleon Hill
"The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." George Patton
I pretty much think about that last one every time my ego gets hurt, pick your fights, if you're not helping anyone it's not worth it. The first one I think is true for everyone, something useful to have in mind.
Good book. Your critique is good as well, an exact synopsis of the book. Next check out The Prince, The Art of War, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. After that look at The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, and The Tipping Point.
Your gums bleed from not flossing. Floss. Get one of these. You'll never want to miss a flossing again.
Another Wahl! They're still the cream of the crop. I have this kit and it cuts through my rough beard like butter. I wish it came with some longer guards, though, although I'm growing it out so it's all freehand now anyhow.
I am a boxer guy. Bought these a few months ago, and they are by far my favorite boxers I have ever owned- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005C9G7J2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
edit: as an explanation- very roomy/baggy while still keeping everything in place, and the waste-band is wide and soft, rather than having that elastic feeling. They never ride up on me, even when working out.
David Archy separate pouch underwear is THE answer.

A few things you could try:
Everki Studio Slim Laptop Backpack for upto 14.1-Inch Laptops/15-Inch MacBook Pro (EKP118) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LGN7Y3G/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_RwXCyb3E7SZR0
This one is a little more than you wanted to spend ($118 on Amazon) but I've had it for a year now and the quality is excellent, still looks brand new. Holds up to a MacBook Pro & iPad Pro. Slim and classy design. WAY better than my last backpack which was The North Face. Should fit all 15inch laptops no problem, with nice organizational layout.
I tried these after having the same types of issues with UA (too tight etc). I own nine pairs. They're amazing. and cost effective..hope that helps. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QG7WYAA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Says "currently unavailable", but these are what I buy. I just pulled up my last order, I'm sure they're available elsewhere.
I read Models and absolutely loved it. The next book I'm looking at reading in the vein is No More Mr. Nice Guy. I haven't read it myself, but it looks like what you're looking for.
Really? Thomas Pynchon and Dave Eggers are going to get people into reading? I think an engaging page-turner like The Devil in the White City would be more appropriate.
if you have a smartphone, you have a flashlight.
Most places you can't carry a knife/multitool.
Combine Wallet and smartphone.
Add to this: Glytone face wash and Jack Black sunscreen moisturizer in the AM; it has a high SPF and isn't greasy.
I see people mentioned /r/bodyweightfitness start there.
Really you don't like the gym, because you haven't really gone to the gym. i shit you not, if you start on a basic lifting program, strong lifts, or starting strength. it will change your god damn life.
and don't say tone. no one knows what that means.
For deodorant. Why not try it old school with a plain old alum block?
I use a variation of GTD on my phone.
One screen on my phone is dedicated for it. I use Simpletask to set up 4 contexts, Home, School, Work, and Errands (out and about). Any time I need or want something (to get done, to purchase, whatever), I add it to the appropriate list. If it can be done in multiple places, I'll add it to all the ones I can get it done.
Whenever I have spare time, I'll check the appropriate list for things to knock out. If the list is totally empty, then my free time is leisure time, where I can goof off and do whatever I want.
Below the four main contexts, I have a Calendar Widget. I use this to schedule "hard" events (i.e. things that must be done at specific times).
Personally, I do prefer to use physical journals, etc. but the "everything at a glance" and "hassle-free editing" make a digital version very easy.
On the more technical side (if you want to get into it), I force Simpletask to set up it's todo.txt file in a git repository. Whenever I think about it, I open the repo up with SGit, commit new changes, and push to a remote server for backup/synchronizing between devices.
