Last June in Franklin we got 5 inches of rain in 45 minutes. Took out several trees in my yard. That was a lot of rain, this is a sprinkle.
B) As already noted, he definitely had a hand in this decision. For one, when Wheeler resigned, as is tradition when a new president takes office, Trump got to pick a replacement commissioner. Trump then appointed Pai as commissioner, who has long been a net neutrality opponent. He then named Carr and Rosenworcel to fill the two other vacancies giving net neutrality opponents a 3-2 vote advantage.
This isn’t abnormal. Presidents get to pick FCC replacements so long as there are no more than 3 members of any party (and of course they are going to give their own party the ideological advantage). Elections have consequences, and policies at every agency including the FCC are affected. Trump has also previously been critical of net neutrality, so his act of replacing the commissioner with a long-time NN opponent shouldn’t have come as a surprise to anyone.

99% of it. Get a good snow brush, snoe joe or something similar. those 1 foot 2$ ones just aren't worth it.
You can pull windshield wipers up to better get at that spot. Leave too much there when your driving that will blow and cause some problems.
Also find yourself an empty parking lot and drive around test your breaks see how your car responds in snow where you won't crash into cars/lighting poles
For the non-technical: the DD app didn't get hacked, someone used the credentials leaked from a different company's data breach against the DD app. People who used the same credentials may have been breached.
Basically, don't re-use passwords and subscribe to https://haveibeenpwned.com/
Also if you did get breached, see /u/AdricGod's comment because it sounds like the forced password reset may not be the only thing you need to do.
It's actually not a projector but a digital transfer machine. Basically a small camera captures one frame at a time to make a video file. You can find it here
You could use an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018YPWORE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_AFSMC7DMCQ3BTDR01QPS
This would likely work only in smaller mom and pop places that provide you the password or have a plain open network.. If the WiFI uses a “captive portal” where you have to click terms to accept it probably wouldn’t work.
Also, even though I’m sure your IT provides VPN and other security software, if they find out you’re knowingly using an unsecured network, you’d probably be in for quite a lecture due to the sensitive nature of banking.

For brevity's sake I'm only including DCR properties. I'm not going to hunt around for thousands of local agencies and non-profits. All the information is from one place on this map (in this case, the DCR website).
Websites like AllTrails already serve that purpose and do it better than this ever will.
This is not a DIY project. The pipe wrap is damaged and known to be highly-friable. Asbestos containing pipe wrap is known to contain high asbestos content. There have been many times on Reddit I will recommend when a homeowner can DIY their asbestos removal but this is not one of them.

Aw man, I love the Chicago flag. It's one of the few municipal flags you see used everywhere locally by the city government, businesses, and residents. And it gets adapted by locals for their own designs (it's easy to pair alongside other things). Our state flag to me just feels like "Oh, there's the district court."
Boston's flag -- I love the colors. It's a bit busy with all the writing and sketched skyline, but still decent. I think we could drop the writing and sketch, leave it as a gold and white circle on sky blue, and have something distinctive and lovely.
I'm about 80% negative on the Indian. I'm not sure I'd have said that before reading Changes in the Land https://www.amazon.com/Changes-Land-Indians-Colonists-Ecology/dp/0809016346. But after learning how methodically terrible Europeans were to natives, the Indian just feels like throwing a bone. That's obviously complex and not universally felt.
It definitely depends on make and model, but it's not a new thing. I think the Toyota Corolla has offered them for about 25 years, and the Corolla is not exactly a luxury vehicle.

FWIW there's a Sriracha shortage that might be impacting the pricing along with the sketchy resellers on Amazon marking up products:
>Weather to blame for shortage of popular Sriracha hot sauce... Thanks to a lackluster spring chili pepper harvest, one of the world’s biggest hot sauce manufacturers has suspended production of its iconic spicy sauces throughout the summer.
Recently, a coordinated effort was launched between scientists and archaeologists from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management to find Industry, according to CNN. Last month, the team was able to find the wreckage of the ship. The team also uncovered details about the ship and how it sank.
The whaling brig was built in 1815 in Westport, Massachusetts, a town bordered by Rhode Island in southeastern Massachusetts. The brig was used to hunt whales in several large bodies of water including the Atlantic Ocean, the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico. Named Industry, the ship was used for 20 years until it was lost during a strong storm on May 26, 1838.

Find where they’re coming in if you can. They can squeeze through very small openings, but usually you’ll see some scratches by a small opening. Then get some snap traps, as others have said. I like these ones: https://www.amazon.com/Indoor-Effective-Sanitary-Catcher-Family/dp/B083LDKS6Z/ . They’re reusable. Don’t bait them, just place them along walls where the mice may be hiding/running (basically in areas that you see mouse droppings). Mice will typically run along walls, not through open rooms, and they’ll walk right into the traps. When you catch one, you open the trap to throw the mouse in the trash, reset it, and repeat. Eventually, you’ll catch them all and won’t have any more mice. I do the same in my shed, but that’s an ongoing issue since it can’t be blocked off completely.
Also, a pest control company might help by helping you place traps and preventing them from getting inside. Good luck. It took me about a year to get rid of all the mice in my crawl space/basement.
Boston between 1969 and 1972 was the inspiration behind a pretty interesting, though maybe now somewhat forgotten book on ecology, anthropology, architecture, and urban development called Placeways: A Theory of the Human Environment by the (late?) E.V. Walter
I have a few of these and they’re great. You can easily pull the records out of the frame for playing.
You might really be interested in <em>Frederick Douglass in Ireland: The "Black O'Connell"</em> about his time traveling through Ireland and the parallel experiences he found:
>Douglass spent four transformative months in Ireland, filling halls with eloquent denunciations of slavery and causing controversy with graphic descriptions of slaves being tortured. He also shared a stage with Daniel O’Connell and took the pledge from the ‘apostle of temperance’ Fr Mathew. Douglass delighted in the openness with which he was received, but was shocked at the poverty he encountered.
>This compelling account of the celebrated escaped slave’s tour of Ireland combines a unique insight into the formative years of one of the great figures of nineteenth-century America with a vivid portrait of a country on the brink of famine.
I had them and I purchased an indoor insect trap and running it for about a week they were gone. Mine were due to a leak under my sink that got to the subfloor and created fungus. Once I removed the source of breeding the trap helped get the adults out. I didn’t want to spray because of my dog.

If you want to be doubly safe (after following the info in SWAVcast's link), you can get countertop pour-over filters. E.g. this one on Amazon. Use the cold water, let it run for a min, then fill up the container's reservoir.
My parents and I were getting concerned about the amount of water that goes into watering all the lawns in our neighborhood, so we hooked up some rainwater collection barrels to the gutters. Now we use just that for all our gardening. It really helps when there's drought. A decent rainstorm can get us several weeks' worth of water basically free. Just need to be sure to empty them before they freeze in the winter. It's not drinkable but the plants love it. The barrels marketed specifically for collecting rainwater can get expensive, a heavy-duty plastic trash bin is an economical alternative.
If you live in an area with bears (pretty much the entire state by now) be careful with what bird feed you put out. Suet is very attractive, good for birds in the winter but remember to take it down in the spring. Black bears are ridiculously good climbers.
Get a big bag or two of road salt for the winter. Be very careful stepping out after a storm, there can be a layer of ice hidden under the snow. I recently found these attachable ice grippy things for shoes they might just save you from a broken arm. Good luck!
Dog trainer here and I recommend everyone carry a small bottle of citronela spray as a deterrent. Squirt them right in the face if you can. Air horns also work well. Sure you can try throwing treats or something at them, but I have no patience for that. When it comes to off leash dogs I don't fuck around and take immediate action.
Use your environment, too. Hide behind a home or literally stick your dog in a garbage bin. I've seen it save lives. Just be careful picking up your small dog around bigger dogs. Fast moving small fluffy objects might cause prey drive to kick in.
And just because these were pitbulls doesn't mean it can't happen with other breeds. Even small dogs are capable of nasty bites
wtf are you talking about dude

and if you are unfamiliar with his life's work, Tracey Kidder's book, Mountains Beyond Mountains, is a great place to start.
I wear an N95 mask in indoor spaces with strangers. When the pandemic started and N95s were not available, I wore a 3M respirator with P100 filters - these filter out 99.97% of airborne particles. [However these have an exhalation valve, so no real help for those around me, but I was doing the best I could to protect myself and my family from exposure.]
Let me rephrase my previous comment: it's best to reduce respiratory illness if everyone wears masks all the time. However, we don't optimize just for reducing virus transmission in our lives. There are costs, significant and otherwise, to wearing masks all the time. They are uncomfortable, they take up time and energy to take off and put on, cost money, and inhibit social interaction.
At this point, I'm not going to look down upon someone for foregoing a mask or wearing one. If I'm concerned, then I will wear my N95, and that's my choice. If I'm not concerned (I am not - I am double vaxxed and boosted), like when I'm with friends and family, I will go maskless.

This is two systems. The set up is a broad cold front moving southeasterly hitting our region in a line from New Brunswick to Tennessee Friday. As it passes and cools us down, an embryonic storm also forms south of Virginia Beach and heads classically northeasterly.

1) I'd say middle class town, surrounded by a few upper middle class enclaves (Hopkinton, Franklin, Holliston). I honestly don't care for the downtown that much, but since there are a number of better ones nearby, it shouldn't matter. I do like some of the strip malls out that way...typical outer suburb type offerings.
2) I like the nature vibe in the area. I personally really like the bike path there https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/massachusetts/upper-charles-rail-trail--2/photos and like much of Massachusetts, there are some really nice ponds and lakes there to explore if you like nature.
3) you can find out about any city in the country through this data-rich site: http://www.city-data.com/city/Milford-Massachusetts.html

I live in Whitman and I see Asians in general only at places like Asian food restaurants. Never elsewhere. I recommend looking at the most recent census information for Massachusetts and find out though there. I think Boston and the surrounding communities are the best locations for any Japanese meet and greets. I know that there is at least one Japanese group on meetup.com that you could look into. Down here though? Few and far between.

I don’t have a name/suggestion but we did it ourselves for our apartment and it REALLY works if you’re thorough. > MA tried to ban non competes a few years ago but the completely incompetent state legislature left in a blatant loophole that companies can use to avoid the law. All they had to do was add 4 words to their employment contracts.
It’s really sad considering the fact that the MA tech collapse occurred partially due to California’s tech ecosystem advantage brought about by its non-enforcement of non-competes.
Lee MA would be more ideal than Northampton. There's lots of nice little restaurants and it's only about 45 minutes from the Springfield area. List of restaurants
Slut used to just mean an untidy woman. You'll still find some older folks who call dust bunnies "slut's wool," which is just an amazing name for it.
Not made at all from plastic:
Parks near us approve of them. I posted it elsewhere but I consider it an asshole move to just let my dog shit on a trail for someone to step in, but I also don't want to hold a bag of poop for an entire hike so I'll leave it off to the side. If our route changes and I don't make it back down the same trail, its OK because the bag will break down quick and the poop will do its thing and at least until then its visible so someone doesn't step in it. Otherwise I can grab it on my way back and dispose of it at the trail head or at home.
Currently using these, which are certified Biodegradable Products. The reason we don't just leave it on the trail is because that's typically an asshole move. If we are doing a "there and back" type trail, we will just pick it up on our way back and dispose of it at the trail head or bring it home. Other times our planned routes may change during a hike and we don't make it back. We don't want to leave shit hidden where other people are going to step it in it so at the very least its in a plainly visible bag.
Ah-So. If you want New England Chinese sauces, just go with Ah-So. Here's an Amazon link, but I'd recommend ordering it from someone more local.
Alltrails has the ability to select trails based on what you may be looking for (https://www.alltrails.com/us/massachusetts)
Berkshire County, western end of Massachusetts, has an extensive trail system. The Appalachian Trail runs right up the middle. There's numerous trails, probably easier to get to from Virginia than other parts of the state, and well known for its natural beauty.

You might want to join Nextdoor and post there: https://nextdoor.com/find-neighborhood/
The Billerica list is pretty active and people have posted about things like this in the past. If you provide details like location and time period you might find a neighbor who saw something. You can only join with a valid physical address, so privacy is better than things like Craigslist.
That's just not true.
You can see the average hourly temperatures by month here.
I mean, unless your standard for "hot" is mid 70s...? The average high in October is mid-60s, but only very temporarily reaches that high (about 4 hours from noon to 4). You actually have to go to September, not October, to get in the mid-70s. I hardly think that's "hot."
Next month being May, you have the same temps as through September - mid 70s, but only for a very, very small portion of the day (reference the hourly temps).
In fact, the delineation for May is mostly "cool" and "cold," with "comfortable" making a short appearance for about 4 hours.
It's untrue that it's going to be "hot alllll the way until october"
There is a article on this actually.
There is also a post on this subreddit that is basically the same thing. Massachusetts most likely WON'T see any snow, just heavy rain. But who knows, anything can happen.
There are actually more Dunkins in each of the following cities than in Boston proper:
Chicago, Philly, NYC, Brooklyn, the Bronx. https://www.scrapehero.com/location-reports/Dunkin%20Donuts-USA/ There are 4 times as many in Chicago than then are in Boston.
I forget which one, but on one of the ave (7th?) in NYC, there is a Dunkin on each block.
This. Buy some decent hiking boots that won't brake the bank (https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Tec-Mens-Altitude-Waterproof-Hiking/dp/B000RUH7ZY?th=1&psc=1) and some underarmor for a layer under pants/shirt. Unless you're running through snow piles those boots with socks and layers will keep you plenty warm.
