The stock emui camera time-lapse is pretty sub-par, I get much better results using https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neximolabs.droidtimelapsepro - def worth the few bucks imho.

You can lock the white balance & exposure, which will prevent the bumps in brightness seen in your example. Also able to adjust resolution, fps, capture interval etc.

10/5/2019 but this is from the older emui 8 based roms. This is omnirom from a 2019 build but there are newer ones. I had a hard time getting lineage os to boot.

The Android Enterprise Recommended program the Mate 10 Pro is part of only mandates at least one letter upgrade. It has already received this.
