Assuming the 4B12 engine is the same as the 4B11 (it's 2.0L twin) all you need for a motor oil change is the oil itself, a new filter, and ideally a new crush washer for drain pan. For the CVT, you'll realistically only need to do a drain-and-fill for the CVT fluid. I personally use Mobil 1 0W-20 AFE and a K&N HP-1004 filter for my oil changes on my 4B11 and have brought my Lancer to the shop for a CVT fluid change, though it's easy enough to do yourself, as there's a couple tutorials on how to do so on YouTube. Here's some really well priced CVT fluid on Amazon that meets Mitsubishi's CVT-J4 standards.
Agreed. Wash, clay bar, and wax. Clean and detail interior. I would not dump much money into ancillary parts on this car.
That said, if it's reliable, and you honestly plan on keeping it a while, and a few hundred extra bucks will keep the temptation of trading it in at bay... I'd set a budget, and start hunting junkyards, Facebook marketplace, offer-up, and Craigslist.
If it's a manual, add a cheap Amazon weighted shift knob $18.99
Add a used single din headunit, aftermarket drop in speakers (new or used based on price), a really cheap and modest used amp and single sub. Less than $200 Diy.
I'd leave it there. But...
If you locate a junkyard ralliart: Spoiler, front bumper, side skirts, rear bumper/valance, and any interior bits(seats, trim, sound system, floor mats, dealer accessories). I wouldn't do this unless you could get the parts extremely cheap and are prepared to mount them yourself, and can hardball negotiate a great "at your leisure" price from a auto body shop that might be slow.
There is always used Koni's and lowering springs, 15" 5x114.3's with good rubber, front strut bar.
Only do this if you want the experience of learning to do these things yourself, and the fun of hunting for cheap parts. It will be a sunk cost.
No, it's fake price to get more search results. If you look at the description in the ad, you'll find the actual price. Like this is listed $1234 but asking for $28.5K. Lol.
In all seriousness this is what you need. Hammer them on it’ll come right off. https://www.amazon.com/Thinkwork-Twist-Socket-Remover-Extractor/dp/B08697WPSW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=3MYQ6GIAX5KEF&keywords=twist+socket+set+lug+nut+remover+extractor+tool&qid=1650968198&sprefix=twist+soce%2Caps%2C240&sr=8-1
I bought my air compressor for $150. The portable ones used for tires are $10. The hose is probably more expensive unless you have extra half inch hoses at home. They are standard ones that fit the PCV hole on intake manifold.
My vaccum pump with pressure gauge is about $20. You may get it cheaper.

It is likely you have small vacuum leak issue. Mine was big. I was surprised the large bubbles came out of the throttle body when I sprayed water. Stalls on drive and reverse. Nearly fouled spark plugs.
I also suggest cleaning your fuel injectors with an additive. That will quickly change how your car runs. Might even stall regardless of you shift gears. It changes the air fuel mixture. And exposes vacuum leak issues. Makes it more obvious.

They make a beefier version you can bolt/weld to the underside almost like a skid plate, but for your converter. Those things will definitely deter a thief, but with enough time I'm sure they'd still try. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087D8ZSV8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_142X5WTG6NJVSQPZ87RZ

They’ve been solid. Had them for almost a year, hasn’t faded or flown off. When I did install them though I wiped the car clean with cleaning alcohol, stuck them on, and waited 24 hours before driving. Been solid.
Bought everything on Amazon, can’t find the leds that I got but here’s the retainer clips that you’ll need for them

This guy seems to have started out down that path. Although he's apparently planning to do a bunch of cutting and such to fit the stereo in where the factory unit used to be…

One way to add an MP3 player that doesn't involve replacing the whole stereo is to wire in an auxiliary port via the FM radio antenna. Basically, you pull out the stereo and plug it between the FM antenna cable and the stereo and mount the box somewhere behind the dash after setting up what frequency you want it on. Then you simply tune your stereo to that frequency and life is good. Supposedly it works pretty well because it's connected directly to the FM antenna port.

Hmmm...any ODB2 reader should connect to the ecu and read the code.
I bought this one in Amazon, but you need an Android. Works great and I can get live data in my 2011 Lancer ES

Check if yandex navigator app is available for your device in English. Very helpful in Russia. Navitel is also good, but yandex navigator is all free.

Here is the Amazon link I found regarding my question.(The picture is wrong, so ignore it) As you can see in the Q&A, there has been confirmation that it fits the Lancer, but a GTS, also the review shows it too. I don't know if the this review is fake or this is true that it will fit. Does anyone know rue dimensions of the end link?
Yeah. Ceramic is AWESOME. I was using mother's ceramic during the summer, but got a line up on another product on early release / testing... here's what I currently use & absolutely love it.
So I've had a the more expensive K&N CAI and also this: DC Sports SRI6013M Polished Short Ram Intake System https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004OVG0JQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_L70qCb2B8NRN0 In my 2.4 and honestly the SRI feels much more torquey and adds more to the throttle response at high RPMs as well as enhancing the engine sound (not to an obnoxious or droney level, really audible at 4k+ though)
There's also headers that might be worth checking out, I would supply a link but I have it saved on my PC and I'm mobile rn and I've heard some videos saying good things. Pretty sure they're manufactured by DC sports as well.
I'd go with a less restrictive exhaust system too, these are economy cars and therefore their OEM exhaust is very restrictive. Maybe custom piping with a magnaflow muffler and a resonated tip so it doesn't drone at low RPMs.
As for the internals, haven't heard much about rebuilding these 2.4l engines... honestly read waaaay too much about trying to turbo them and have them shit out after they add even a small turbo lol.
If you're ever serious about getting forced induction you could take a look at 2.0l crate engines out of the ralliarts or comparable engines. The stock manual transmission should fit well and hold up with the psi of boost those motors could safely run.
All in all these chassis are fun and very moddable for an interesting daily so good luck on your rebuild! You'll definitely enjoy the driving experience on stock suspension with just new tires and maybe a strut bar.
Also if you're interested in a black OEM GTS wing you can DM me, should bolt onto the trunk with the bolt pattern on the inside so drilling would be simple.

There's a couple different units made by them. So look around. This was the first result
If you haven't bought the Diaqueen yet, there's a great deal on Castrol's CVT fluid through Amazon that meets Mitsubishi's J4 spec

They work wonderfully. I am using Wagner Ceramic Pads with them
Just a heads up, you can get sensors delivered from amazon.ca for $66 each. They need to be paired with your vehicle. This can be done by any dealership (generic system) or by someone who has the right kit. Amazon confirms they fit the 2015 RVR so you should be good to go.
edit: I'm pretty sure tires need to come off rims for this to happen.
you want the black colored 3m moulding tape. the grey will work, but it is not quite as strong in the long term.
i would also HIGHLY recommend an adhesive promoter like the one i linked below. the OEM kit comes with one & i have found without it, no tape will hold more than a few years.
Yea I'm really happy with the way the lowering turned out but it looks goofy with the stock wheels. and this is the exact link to the wheels I ordered through Amazon:
I love my TurboXS turbo back on my '10 Ralliart. Has a nice aggressive sound. It did drone at highway speeds but I had this installed and it helped that alot. Actually sounds better now, in my opinion. That with some other upgrades and a tune will give you a noticeable increase in performance.
I owned a 2008, you have to buy one of those adapters that goes into the back of the cd player, it's really cheap and pretty straightforward to do, but after that i'll work like a charm once you hold the CD button. here's the one I bought back in 2013: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008219OQ0
I love my TurboXS. Only complaint was that it was a tad loud (especially at freeway cruise speed), but after installing one of these, it's perfect.
When you pull out the stock stereo you should see a large round plug with 7 prongs. If you see this, then you have the infinity sound system. If not, then you don't have it.
This is all you need if you don't have the infinity sound system. This should be all you need if you do have the infinity sound system.
