More from hakkasm! Check them out here if you haven’t already.
This one’s got some cartoonish gore, bit it’s nothing too crazy of course and even kinda appropriate given the context. It’s nice to see the weird-ness of Tubba Blubba + the color and mood of Gusty Gulch all captured in one dynamic shot.
And who could forget that ghost gulper’s catchy battle theme?
Credit to Deviantartist Figuritas, again. Sorry, but they have some pretty good quality TTYD art.
So much representation of Rogueport in one scene! Here's some atmospheric music to go along with it.
A return to form would be this game.
But really, a lot of people just want to see PM: TTYD: TTYD. While that's great and all, TTYD did have its fair share of problems (battles more based around luck, backtracking, linear level design). And it's not like you can't improve the experience for newbies and both make things better for experienced players, as shown in some of TTYD's sections and even in Jam's tutorials. At this point though I think they are too far down the rabbit hole, until they receive a paper cut which will probably be 10 years from now.
Jam is a non-crossover marketed at a crossover. It's really a baffling game. If we're to take the devs' word that they decided to go minimal story on their own accord, then it's awfully convenient that such an installment happened after Sticker Star, ain't it. Some people have also felt like the M&L series has gone too repetitive; their gimmick swap works well, but it really has slowed down in different ways. With PiT the battles were very different from SS since the babies were always there, but half the time in Inside Story and Dream Team you're pretty much fighting the same way as in previous games. And in Jam the 'star of the show' doesn't really change the plot.
There's a fangame that a developer that has worked on two past Mario RPGs (which people should play) is working on http://gamejolt.com/games/epic-paper-mario/71638 which has some really good new ideas in it.
Honestly I wish I had thought of that while writing. However, I did include it in a different idea similar to this. Once again hate to self promote, but the oppurtunity has presented itself and I can't pass it up. Here it is
Oh! I actually wrote about this exact concept a while ago. It's been a concept I've wanted to try and flesh out alot. I hate to promote myself like this, but I came up with what I think is an interssting concept over on the Mario Amino. Here's a link if you want to check it out. Hope you like it.
I saw this a few days ago!
Here's the Gamejolt page, for anyone interested. There's a ton of info there!
It looks great so far, although I'm a bit dismayed that it's a side-scroller ^^^and ^^^by ^^^how ^^^many ^^^toads ^^^there ^^^are.

I recommend having sex before you play as I am 100% sure you will bust a nut and you don't want to get your cloths dirty
Credit to deviantartist FloroSapiens. If you can't tell by their tag name, they love paper mario and do lots of art for it, so go check it out.
I've always loved the clever mosaic/hieroglyphic/Game&Watch aesthetic SPM's pit of 100 trials had. No matter how grueling it was to do it 3 times, the scenery combined with the amazing music made it tolerable.

This game used to be amazing. It used to have Rogueport and a battle system where you got XP and leveled up. It wasn't just another RP game but an actual Paper Mario. But now the creator has changed it into a Mario&Luigi game which I don't care as much for.
Well you know what, if Sticker Star was named Great Star Offensive, people would be making way more jokes about its name in reviews. I appreciate the effort nonetheless, though!
You do know about Epic Paper Mario, right?
By the way, I love this quote in the reviews:
> The thought of someone reviewing their own game is absolutely hilarious.
Obviously as I said this particular one (Epic Paper Mario) is in development, but you can download Seven Sages here and Starlite Worlds here. They are well known and quite polished, with some unique features (Seven Sages has a suit system and adventure card, and Starlite Worlds has a badge system that suits more towards M&L with probably over 50 unique badges). Even though Seven Sages reuses lots of plot scenarios from M&L and PM games, Starlite Worlds has a story that I think even rivals TTYD due to its change to unique areas.
I tried to play with it on keyboard when I first got into emulation and you can make up until you get the rolling ability, then it’s just impossible without an analogy control stick. I bought the GC Controller Adapter for PC USB which I can’t seem to find for sale anymore but I’m sure something like this would work just fine
Shame that your copy of 5 doesn't work, and I guess it could be worse (could have only gotten 4).
In-depth how would you describe 7?
Also, for Christmas I got this, it is the most quite mechanical keyboard I've heard.
