Yup, I've reconstructed the entirety of the Kanto overworld in Roblox, even the in-between areas never seen in the game. It uses Red and Blue's take on the region as the base and FRLG's color palette. The region also takes some elements from Yellow and the generation 2 games as well, like the Pikachu Surf house and Mt. The item itself was never changed, they made two SEPERATE snowball launchers. The original's texture was swapped after a strange texture glitch that occured in early 2017. It affected many classic gear retextures, such as the magical unicorn plush/new year's pony. Most of them were corrected a few months ago, but the snowball launcher was never fixed.

What you see is a game, all those people are fake in the player lists. You can add all of them as friends its jut a fake friend menu thing. The Roblox is fake and when you attempt to add it, it says "Can't add ROBLOX as a friend" this took some insane scripts to make and I just want to warn everyone to beware. The game is a max of 1 player so again everyone in that player list is fake other than me. Watch out for this game, the creator sponsored it so it is all over. This may not be new, but this is the first time I have seen anything like this lol

Minecraft gets a bad rap thanks to all the kids that play it, it really sucks how the negative connotation completely shuns older players from playing the OG of survival sandbox multiplayer games.
The same goes for Roblox too but that was meant to be for kids because it teaches them how to at least use LuaScript. not to mention some Roblox games are so well done they do deserve a lot of attention and are even worthy of becoming independent games. best examples include V_yriss's Survive The Disasters and Gamer Robot's Elemental Battlegrounds

The game broke awhile ago, so I made a tool that possesses players and NPCs. It also takes into account the double headmesh thing(so you can steal headmeshes without it bugging out).
Haha I hope so but don't want to get too ahead of myself: my only priority is making a game that is enjoyable for people that pushes the medium.

Its an oldschool game that was last updated in 2012. It was one of the first games i ever played back in 2008/2009. And whats funny is that besides its general design looking a bit dated, its still a very playable and enjoyable game if you have enough people. Its just another prisoner roleplay game, but it has a few things that modern prison RP games dont have
1) This place is huge, it is a fortress, and a maze at the same time
2) Variety of teams to choose from and play as, not Cops vs Criminals poorly disguised team deathmatch
3) Prisoner management cannot be spoofed or cheated, theres no sneaky ways for them to escape like breaking stuff with a hammer or stealing keycards, they rely entirely on stealth and skill
4) Did i mention the place is "yuge"

Decent enough from what I've seen.
Roblox is no longer it's own 'game' - it's now trying to(for the past couple years) advertise itself as a game platform(so kind of like steam). Gameplay is pretty much as you expected dependant on what games you are playing now, since a lot of games can differentiate themselves with how great studio has gotten.
Website layout - well, forums are gone because it ended up turning into a shitshow, though a lot of old scripting help discussions are gone sadly.
Community attitude - it's... mixed. There's a bunch of different 'groups' per say on Roblox. There's a lot of pessimism, especially from older players. For a variety of reasons, whether it's nostalgia, whether they don't think Roblox is doing well, or whether we're repeating history again with the older generation complaining about the younger ones. The people who make games, I can't speak for everyone, but it seems pretty good so far - Roblox has gotten out a lot of good studio updates, like stuff you can see on Roblox today would blow your mind if you compared it to 2010.
Content - It's pretty good. A LOT of front page games have raised in quality, though more appealing to younger players I'd think. Then again, a lot of 2010 games were appealing to younger players, so not much has changed aside from what's popular. For example - we have an ACTUAL pokemon game that is super high quality in comparison to the old morph-and rocket launcher pokemon move games.

I've played since 2010 as well surprisingly - it's gotten for the better. Pretty satisfied with the current state of Roblox, though I do REALLY wish events were done by staff again. The events today just seem unsatisfying and rushed.

It makes them money, its shit for older players who actually like quality, sorry to say, us older players are a minority, the majority of roblox players who couldnt care less about quality, and they think those games we find shit are the best things ever, and they have legitimate fun on them, so whats the problem, roblox gets money, the majority of players are happy, only a minority are mad. We don't update the models in the toolbox very often, it seems. There is a version of the classic sword, but the one you get by going to toolbox -> Roblox Sets -> Weapons -> Classic Sword is definitely not it. I'll try to get this updated when I get back from Christmas vacation.

Custom mspaint skybox, custom mspaint ads that are probably still on an old hard drive in my basement somewhere, custom hat dispensers, custom obstacle course with custom vip section at the end, I think I custom built the movie theaters minus the actual movies. I changed the theme whenever there was a contest for themed places (I remember doing western and snow), there was originally only one type of movie in the whole theater but I eventually found more and spent the next several weeks swapping them out (my computer was so shit I was moving a solid 5 fps in edit mode and would freeze up my computer after a while so I could only do it in chunks at a time. I acutally planned out how I implemented the obstacle course so I could do it in one go). Most of it is free models but the obstacle course was entirely made by me (minus the lava and spikes). I was in the process of implementing a battle arena when I quit.
Seriously, I'll talk trash about Roblox nowadays alongside you all day, but I've yet to see a game that allowed the level of customization that Roblox allowed. Minecraft wishes it were that open ended. Also fun fact: JJ5x5, a famous old school player, started an early Minecraft let's play after he left, which introducted me to Minecraft before the popular let's players caught on.

A lot of older accounts(specifically 2007) were password guessed, and nearly all of them have the badge.
The account in question also does not have any indicators of activity throughout the years(which while can be explained through not playing for awhile, who wouldn't get any of the free visors[or in this case, basically free since it was tickets for so many years]).

So, this is my white castle build. Ignore the union render error on the left, it will be covered up. Started this yesterday night and so far ive got a lot done, outside front facing walls are done, i need to do some details on the more utilitarian walls, dining area needs some extra detail and wall stuff but its otherwise done as far as seating goes. Im currently working on the ceiling tiles. And man, i hate ceiling tiles both IRL and in Roblox.
My last post about this was poorly worded and was taken kind of harshly:
1) I did not make that free model cafe nor do i own that group, it was a place that i found and the entire concept is so bad and so low effort by literally anyones standards that it inspired me to make a proper white castle.
2) Im not doing this because i hate another user or want to taunt them or something, i see other peoples mistakes as a reason to build myself to see what i can do and if i can actually do any better. As i stated in a comment, this time the bar was set pretty low. (this is actually how all my current builds are, the sewers was because someone elses sewers they were trying to sell were very low detail and generally mediocre and they were asking for 20k)
3) I know im not a top tier builder, im only working in .25 studs, thats nothing fancy and the detail really isnt even that great.

Things that i know are fucked and need work:
-the drink machine is low detail and ugly
-the counters need some extra stuff on them
-tables and walls are pretty bare
-the ceiling tile frames are slightly out of alignment by like .003 studs and i hate it
They change a lot of stuff behind the scenes. You can do a massive amount with the scripting engine that would have been impossible 5 years ago.
Hell, I went back a while ago and made half a space exploration game (It's not currently being worked on and there are probably some bugs, but this is it.) with custom player models, custom movement, camera tracking, player instancing, procedurally generated star systems, space stations you can dock with, a custom UI including a player list, chat system, basic animations, navigation menu and a ship selection menu in space stations.
You could do almost none of those things a few years ago, at least without exploiting bugs which would eventually get patched out and break your code...

They are not friends with anybody and have no followers or following.
The accounts are favoriting copy games, as an example, I found many of the games from a knockoff Novelty Studios and Tlaws account, and the accounts are also a big fan of a group called “Potential.” The group is owned by a SeriousValue, who joined June 30th and has a bunch of Limited and Limited U items.
SeriousValue is in a group called ^-^^-^ with the icon being a picture of Vans. The owner joined at exactly the same time Serious did, and both have BC.
The knockoff Novelty Studios was banned.

The biggest problem I find with really nice-looking free models is that they are very resource intensive. They use too many unions, decals, and bricks, all of these things add up to potentially cause crashing and FPS dropping in your game, and too long of load times.
It depends how big your world is, how far apart these objects are spread from each other, how many you are using.
If it's a really small game, you COULD get away with it. But nothing is better than a seamless-looking beautiful game that's a result of one builder, and saving resources where ever possible to have a clean, no-lag experience is highly desired.

For further context, A friend of mine found a model with the "Confident" animations in it. I checked them out, saw the run animation, and almost immediately made this. If you need proof they're official animations made by roblox, here's the running animation's link.

Also yes, most games on the frontpage are pretty much safe. Some hackers/exploiters still can hack in some of those games dick models and people can sit on their lap when they touch somebody. That is usually only used when somebody records or streams so that they can troll that person.
The aim of this map was to produce an environmentally diverse location to make full use of the various camouflages and to add some variation to the scenery as you explore. I have only laid out the general locations of the more important places and main roads which will connect them. As a concept i would appreciate any suggestions on how it could be improved.

This is more of a personal thing but every single time I listen to the Jurassic Park area loop from Universal Studios Hollywood I get the most intense feeling of nostalgia. When I was younger I spent a lot of time in the Lower Lot of USH and they always blasted this Jurassic Park loop.
The only good theme park game I've played is actually on Roblox. It's a Universal Studios map with tons of rides and immersive areas. It's actually really impressive if you can get past the fact that it's on Roblox.

So I do all my development on a game platform called Roblox (don’t laugh). Learned basics of programming on Roblox back in 2012 and have just decided to stick with it (from that I have branched out into web development and played around with app development as well). 99% of my money has come from the game I work on, which is called Robloxian Highschool (coincidental lol) but I only get a certain percentage of its profits. There are continuously thousands to tens of thousands of people on it at one time, double or triple that on weekends. Just from that I make as much or more than a well ranked software engineer at a company like Apple or Google.

So this d e a d a s s sends me a link to a private server because I was bored and wanted to 1v1. The first round we both use Intervention and(because of my obvious skill)I win. Controls are WASD and the mouse. Hold down the RMB to rotate the camera.
The default UI consists of a chat on the top left, a playerlist on the top right and (most importantly) a toolbar on the bottom middle. Select your active tool with numbers 1-9 on your keyboard.
The game creator can change most things about a game. This includes the UI and controls. So every game can be vastly different.
Anything to whose gameplay the Stamper Tool was central (i.e. Build to Survive [item] games); the tool seems to have been removed a while ago, so all those are effectively broken and the servers just consist of people getting chased/killed by [item] and crowding about the nearest building.
Build a Raft and Go Down a River. Unlike the game(s) above, this game still works, it's just that no one really frequents the game. It was fun to build paths in the air avoiding the river (eventually figured out I could append small blocks to myself to make stilts and get to the river's end much more quickly), but part of the fun was actually other people trying to stop me. On another note, I'm bitter that the Fly tool also doesn't work.
That reminded me the story from one time:

I made myself a plugin in which you can paint or select objects with a 2D radial brush, similar to blender’s.
I dislike studio’s box selection tool and manually painting objects, so I went ahead and made this.
Originally I had no plans on releasing it as a plugin, but I figured some of you out there may find use in it. You can customize your keybinds too, to help against potentially conflicting tools.

Hi, not a parent, but there are parents who come to the subreddit who have had similar issues.
So to make this easier to explain - Roblox is a game platform/game engine(so kind of like Steam/Unity mixed together) - players on the site program games for other players to play. Most of the people on the site/app play the games.
So considering you purchased from Google play store rather than directly from Roblox, refunding is kind of going to terminate her entire account if she already spent it.
Try to contact Roblox support ASAP https://www.roblox.com/support about the situation. Explain everything that happened, hopefully ask if you can get it refunded without your daughter losing her account.
Anyway, consider it like this assuming she purchased it from one game on the site.
'Real world currency' - What you used on the google play store - e.g USD.
'Robux' - The 'middleman' so to speak. It works like a steam wallet to purchase micro transactions on the site. It has real world value ever since developers could exchange it into 'Real World currency'.
'Game currency' - Say she was playing a game like Work at a Pizza Place. They have their own currency separate from Robux as a game.
Your daughter most likely played a game, accumulated 'Game Currency' and clicked on an alternate store purchase. Roblox enforces that games should make a clear differentiate between 'Game Currency' purchases and 'Robux' purchases. Most likely she mistaked 'Game Currency' for 'Robux' - and purchased from the Robux-side of the micro transactions on a particular game.
So as the Fifteam Egg has now been released in the library, did anyone manage to get it? For me it keeps disappearing and respawning on a different random location whenever I'm close. There's 2 eggs active at one time.

- Having one standing on one of their spawns.

Thoeries:
- ~~You can't get it in a VIP server somehow.~~ Seems like there's no difference between regular and VIP servers.
- You have to collect about 100 (because of 1% chance) to get a "correct" one.
- It's an april's fool. As of writing this, there's 66 in total who got it. It didn't change for a while so maybe these were a couple testers to make the fool look more real.

If you haven't been banned in like, 6-8 years, you could apply to join the dev forum. If you have nothing to show off that could get you in, start doing something that could get you in (e.g. art, music, building [like showcase-making], etc.) and then apply when you've gotten some attention from your work.
If you can't do that, just keep posting on /r/Roblox. Or maybe even join some new sites, like https://www.robloxforums.co.uk/ (a new fansite made by roblox user xulh), https://scriptinghelpers.org/, etc.

An old game that essentially emulates the stealth gameplay of the Metal Gear Solid series. What makes this game fun is that the guards are also players, so the chosen Agent (random player at the start of each round) must take that into consideration. The guards are given rifles to take out the Agent and have ID cards to verify that they are real guards.
The Agent has a knife (1 hit kill close range), a tranquilizer pistol (actually forces a guard down and blackens the screen for 20 seconds), a cardboard box, a fake rifle, and can find guard uniforms around the map. The Agent must find blueprints around the base and escape to win, and can use vents to sneak or hide, alongside lockers to hide in.
It's a really fun game, but the lack of players make it something only dedicated parties can play (no single player gameplay, as it requires 2 or more to start)

The moderation team needs to seriously need to drop the banhammer on 50% of the frontpage to get rid of shit like this. If this is what you are referring to, it is probably because they want users to be able to do reenactments and or for use in games. Also, why would they get rid of it? Not sure if you know but CloneTrooper1019 has taken it upon himself to revive a ton of the old Roblox classics. They are all hosted through Super Nostalgia Zone which I find to actually be a ton of fun as a decent amount of people play it. A working Glass Houses is one of the games that it includes.

This place, named Bit o' Sewers is my all purpose testing grounds for mainly small things. Everything in here is made by hand, there are no free models or free scripts besides the trees outside the grates.
I originally made this place when someone was trying to sell a lobby that looked like sewers for like 15k robux or something, but it looked god awful, and the guy said "you do better". So i did. And ive only added more and more since then.

I found a group that has an even bigger issue with botting. It's some weird military group, with about 320k members. If you put a random number in any of the ranks that have people in them, you'll see a ton of bots. I'm surprised that it wasn't deleted yet at all. A few weeks ago, I noticed there was a specific rank for the bots too. It had some absurd number of 100k-200k bots alone. Now they changed them all up, but most of the ranks weren't sorted with members yet. I think there are several other giant groups like this, too.
Okay, wow. I clicked on the owner's profile page, who's rank is specifically " 1. " His blurb is a spiral of emotions. You have a botted war clan on a kids game, that's nothing to be proud of. Also, you're a huge disgrace to Canadians, for representing the soldiers as bacon / spaghetti people.

There is no Green "Geometic", or Green Geometric Headphones. What does this whole title suggest to me, in my opinion?
They made headphones, they were too trash to keep so they deleted them, but later decided they were good enough for the sponsor and recovered the deleted file.
The extension just remove spam from places page.
Sometimes there are so much spam that you never gonna see a real comment, it just gonna be empty (and counting how many spam already was removed)
As Roblox site limit the comment load request (to don't overload their server) it gonna load new comments each 0,5 seconds.

After some testing, our engineers found that a simple round shape of a log is much too unstable, and would flip almost immediately after being placed in the water. Now, depending on how you look at it, this could be a potential inconveniance during battle. A few hours (and a lot of caffeine) later, our engineers have come up with a simple solution: Use a combination of wood that was collected from the hollowed out log, combine it with some newer wood, and make a Trimaran rig on the bottom. Interestingly enough, this also seems to have solved with the speed issue of the previous models, as water drag is reduced from the streamlined pontoons.
Now, for the moment you have all been waiting for... The Combat-Log MkIII!
