Edit: Essentially, the gap between the kill ranges for the KSG-12 and R870 will be shortened, and the R870 will gain relevance in close quarters, as a Shotgun should have. The KSG-12 will still retain potent power in cqb, but won't be as ridiculous in effectiveness.
So this d e a d a s s sends me a link to a private server because I was bored and wanted to 1v1. The first round we both use Intervention and(because of my obvious skill)I win. Due to this, he gets triggered and begins to call me a no life and states that it is unfair because I use the Intervention all the time(I don't). The next round we use the m16a4. I kill him a few times and he proceeds to call me a tryhard(I have no idea why)and so I ask him to elaborate. This leads to the chat up above. I've been a map creator for a long time, creating maps for various games. I'm confused on what "style" is Shaye considers his "style." I have previously submitted a map for PF and it's under evaluation. Could I possibly revamp it to fit qualifications for this? Also, right now I am working on a map based on a mountain range, different than you might think. The map correlates around 3 different mountains and the caves inside of them. There will be 3 levels on each mountain and they will connect. I believe WWII guns were teased (MG42, M3, MP40 and DP-28 are being modeled) and the G36 series is being remodeled, not sure about the progress of them. In terms of things that are more likely to come sooner, the test place is showcasing new sounds, an FOV slider, and a new melee called the Hattori Hanzo.
I think it's too small but no one else said anything so I'm sure it's fine.

The R870 and KSG-12 should have the same base damage of 34. The KSG-12 is much too effective in CQB, and the inconsistency of the R870 could be mediated with requiring 1 less pellet to kill.

1: Why go for limitations, why not just slow down player movement overall and remove backwards sprinting? I would be more concerned about limiting sprinting on some of the bigger maps. Especially on Crane Site Revamp where you often have to chase the action.
Speaking of which, I really don't think the maps as a whole are ideal for tactical-oriented play.
2: Throwing on more features really isn't going to turn it into a tactical game. If anything it'll lead to feature bloat and significantly complicate balancing.
Slowing down TTK, player movement, shrinking maps, reducing player server size, and adding in peaking would probably do a better job then adding in perks and armor. But that'd be a complete re-do of the game which makes you wonder; is it phantom forces still?

I actually don't know what to say on this. It'd probably help if the devs were directly more specific about what would classify as 'too old'. Best we've got is weapons that were either designed during/after the cold war (FN FAL, M16), absurdly famous (Mosin, M1911), or were still in service during the cold war (M1911).
4: Yeah the playerbase leaves a lot to be desired. But ROBLOX gives them a lot of creative freedom at least. Just wish if our account was marked as 13+ we could choose to turn off the filter for ourselves :/.
Side note: If you're looking for a slower-paced tactical game; rainbow six siege is doing great last I heard. If you don't have the PC for it you're kinda out of luck.

(1) Shotguns are bad at range. Aren't shotguns supposed to be like that?
(2) "If the mods want to reduce randomness and increase the skill and balance of shotguns they should reduce inaccuracy, but keep the damage at range relatively high (15-20 per pellet.) As of now in the CTE they're not really viable at either range." You know there's a reason I did not do this. Do you really want a gun that can kill you in 5 pellets (20 min damage) having even more accuracy over range? It would be a disaster from how overpowered it would be!

The chokes are clearly listed there and so are the damages. Stating the shotguns have to have characteristics is like saying 9mms should do less damage than .45's. I played on 3 accounts. the first was xX0Illuminati0Xx but was too cringey so I made AltmerVampire (Elder Scrolls Reference, Aldmeri Masterrace)
Some random kid I used to play LOTRO with stole that one when it was rank 58.
At this point I had created LatinoPi[d]geon, and now I'm level 122+
When I first spawned in I was coming from Quickscoping Simulator so I tried the intervention. It wasn't hitscan and didn't OHK bodyshot back then so I got triggered and used the mp5k which looked smallest. Because small weapons fire fast.
And I was right. I eventually got gud at the game, found out that there was an update and FAMAS was unlocked at rank 0, so Rank 17 AltmerVampire got his first 4 kdr with the (at the time, not so broken) glitched FAMAS.
My opinion about memes overshadowing over kinds of posts does still stand, however I do see your point about meme censorship. I think that our growing community's consensus as to what content they wish to see/participate in has changed a lot, and a vote from two months ago has shown that a good chunk of people are on both sides. Now take these results as you will, but also take into consideration that two months ago shitposting/low quality memes were at an extreme.
Well in terms of what Stylis has in mind, we can see there are quite a few weapons with models that can be added in the "near" future. To list a few:

There were (are(?)) 3 maps in testing on the test place. An oil rig map that looks heavily based off Mother Base from MGSV. A map called "Mirage" consisting of 2 cranes, a bunch of under construction towers and a massive highway. The map is huge in size in all directions, making it really a sniper haven. There's also a remake of Crane Site. Worth noting all of these maps have come from the recent community map builder program, and all are undergoing improvements. The winner of the old map contest "Blizzard" has basically gone MIA for a month or so, but it certainly wasn't well received up front.

From what I can recall off the top of my head it increases your movement and handling speed (Sprint faster, walk faster when aiming, ADS faster, and equip faster)
Wizard is a European style map based on an Austrian country club. It was designed with gameplay as the #1 priority, and it reflects that. Gameplay is centered on a statue in the center. I stole a statue and colored it cyan to show that Stylis can make their own statue of whomever they please. Each team's spawns are arranged in an arc of around 2.5 radians.
In its current state, it's a perfectly functional map that needs embellishment. It's also a little small being 450x400.
I've included a diagram of the spawns, power positions, and domination points. Spawns being blue/orange, power positions being red and dom points being green. I've also sought to eliminate disadvantageous spawns. Most if not all spawns are near an objective, power position or simply in a safe place. The map encourages spawn flips when a team gets too greedy for kills.

We* are also aware that there are many "Choke Points" on the map which is something that we* need help with regarding how we should fix this issue. Do we make less cover to reduce choke points or do we add more to prevent sniping? We are in a dilemma as we got a review from a streamer who snipes and said he hates the fact you can't snipe but then again everyone on Reddit begs for CQC.

Hi. Wikia mod here. The TTK stats shown in-game are as it says, the minimum TTK. This is the theoretical lowest time it takes to kill someone, which includes all multipliers, such as headshots and torso multipliers. The reason it shows the MAC-10 having a minimum TTK of 0.05s? Well it does. Two headshots with the MAC-10 at close range will kill someone, in roughly, 0.05s. The Vector can't kill in two headshots so its minimum TTK is slower than the MAC-10.
It's really important to remember that the TTK stat displayed in-game is the fastest potential TTK the weapon can achieve. Not how fast you will usually kill. If you're good with your aim, some weapons you can excel with because they will kill faster, if, you can aim for the head. In order to work out which weapon has a better TTK without headshots, you need to calculate it yourself. This can be done here: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/0l5andxked
Shotguns (and some sniper rifles) did or still do display an incorrect TTK stat because the TTK stat forgets shotguns shoot multiple pellets instead of one bullet.

I don’t really know how the ballistics in-game work, but this is basically what it should look like. I also removed the negative from 4.9 to show how much bullet drop there is in meters, instead of showing vertical change in position.
I never agreed the PARA is underpowered, I only restated what you seem to believe. Don't take things out of context.
If you took time to read some of the comments on your own post, there are many people who enjoy the PARA and find it balanced. You'll also hear in the video I provided that it is his favourite gun.
This is the most you'll get out of the PF YouTube community. You see almost everyone saying the PARA pre-nerf was overpowered. No more than 5k views from your average PF youtuber. Synthesize also got a huge viewer boost from his sync on the game page, so he's gaining a lot.

My first time playing phantom forces was back in 2018 and it was Mirage. I had the AK12 and I really despised phantom forces at the time because of how LONG the loading screen was for me. I got like 2 kills in my first spawn then kept on dying and dying and dying. Then I quit the game for like 2 years (until beginning of 2020). I got into this FPS game called Krunker.io and it really improved my aimming. After I quit Krunker, I started playing phantom forces and holy crap, I was actually getting kills here and there.
The best gun I unlocked after messing around with the AK12, was the MP7, and tell you what, it was soooo amazing for having low recoil and high DPS in close range. After that, I played Phantom Forces everyday, (except I quite phantom forces for 5+ months because I discovered a jojo game which I played too long even tho i shouldn't have, one of the biggest regrets of my life.). After I returned to the game when I was around rank 80+ and I started having fun using AS VAL and stuff.
Now here I am: Rank 115 and grinding for a tag. (currently at 44k+ credits now)
I also have memories of wasting good amounts of credits on dumb things such as the COLT SMG back when I was rank 20 or something, it wasnt worth buying at all for 5000 CREDITS because the recoil was too much for me cuz I was a noob. I also prebought the vector at rank 60 and tbh, it instantly became my most kills gun (3300 as of now).
I can only answer your first two questions, I have no idea about the third. You will keep your tag, it would seem really weird not to, and secondly yes you can switch between them.

The community testing environment has them, but like /u/Mezzelo said, they only affect stuff like the aim and walk speed. Currently the CTE devs can't adjust reload times, but they plan to do so in the future.

^The characters still use R6 animations but behave a little better. You can press H to toggle trails, X to clear then, C to crouch, CNTRL to prone, Shift+W to sprint, and F to pick up weapons. The point of trails is to show the path of the bullets, the physics system portray ballistics realistically. They drop over time, there is a wind effect(if I add wind) the ricochet off of most hard surfaces, and fragment in certain conditions as well. After a round is fired you can also listen closely and hear the super sonic crack as it flies, if you are shot at you can hear the bullets crack as they fly near you. Getting shot in the game results in seriously damaging effects, to simulate the fact that getting shot really does hurt and inhibit ability. Finally you'll note that every sight isn't necessarily center screen, this is because in reality when you aim a fire arm you need to hold it a certain way and look down the sights a certain way, not just move it to center. And before you ask YES most of the meshes in that project are made and textured by me.

AJ2 got it wrong, keep the tracker. Get a crosshair overlay as shown here It may say as a virus when you download it but it isn't, just trust me ok. It's basically a glorified version of taping a crosshair to your screen.

I THINK it is your internet that is doing this if it is happening evrey server. OR it could be your bad luck of always ending up in a server with a person with really shitty internet and and is lag switching.

1) Camp
2) Use Intervention, it takes less skill than R700. R700 is more lightweight, so it can be used slightly more offensively, with probably more potential (e.g. camping on one side of KoTH Highway Lot and headshotting the ENTIRE TEAM when they come to capture it)
3) Use Ballistics Tracker, buy it if you think you're gonna keep sniping (tracks heads) or else know bullet drop
4) Aim for headshots.
5) get a mouse with adjustable sensitivity- ( this one works pretty well) and decrease your sensitivity while sniping single targets. (low sensitivity is usually optimal for aiming on most guns, though)

Well, back in 2010 you could play with a GPU but with a CPU ddr2 motehrboard 4gb ram. But now to play games like Phantom Forces or Basewars: The Land at 2012 you at least needed a Geforce 210, just 30 bucks. They aren't doing it wrong, they are updating the game. But I think that when Geforce 1000 series comeout the 700 series will drop in prices, right now the 740 2gb's at 80 bucks. Making upgrades easier.
