I wonder if using a wifi extender would work, then plug the hub into the extender.
You’ll have to test or someone will need to say that wont work lol
Ive always been curious about this as well.
Something like this: TP-Link - Wifi Extender AC1750 WiFi Extender (RE450), PCMag Editor's Choice, Up to 1750Mbps, Dual Band Wifi Range Extender, Internet Booster, Access Point, Extend Wifi Signal to Smart Home & Alexa Devices White https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010S6SG3S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_PQS7PR9BSPGRBKGEE6F7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You can buy a simple adapter on Amazon that turns that bulb socket into one compatible for different bulb type.

I used Hue Essentials on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ before getting a bridge.
It's on the Google Play Store if you have an Android device.
They look a bit clunky but you could search for something like "hue dimmer adapter plate uk" and it does something similar: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Dimmer-Switch-Converter-Adapter/dp/B07PVWC6W7. Not a huge fan of the looks of those vs the Aurora but IMO it's worth it to keep the original switch locations and ensure your smart lights are always reachable.
It’s just the cable - it’s the strip LED not the gradient type. Literally just the wire this guy
Should be pretty easy. You may find that (depending on your build and wall box) the unit is a little large and making it fit behind the switch is difficult due to space requirements.
I suggest buying a couple of these - socket spacers. They add a few mm of depth to the wall switch so that you can comfortably fit the unit into the wall behind the switch.
Makes life WAY easier :)
There is a Philips Hie dimmer switch. I don’t have one, so I can’t say if a hub is required.
If you use HomeKit, you can find a list of compatible sensors here. This also gives you much more flexibility since it goes through the Apple Home app.
So, I tried with the normal cables and it disconnected again before 20 mins as usual.
So I used two of these cables, one going from my sky q box to the sync box and one from the sync box to the TV and it actually stayed on for 35 minutes in one go. 15 mins longer than it had previously, but then it disconnected again but shortly after reconnected without me having to reset the sync box.
So it seems like the HDMI cables have made a difference, but it still disconnects.

FYI it looks like you could snag a few E26 (color or white 3-pack) for a few bucks off until the 12th (at least I think that's the date I saw for the deal) if you didn't find a good cheaper alternative yet that is.

I just wanted to have a single longer cord. for example i ordered this but it was the wrong size.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M74KMUG?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details
I was in the same position a while back and started experimenting and here’s the solution.
Disclaimer - I’m integrated with HomeKit so this works for that scenario.
I bought the HomeKit-enabled light switch from Meross and integrated it into my HomeKit ecosystem. Then I added a simple Hue Dimmer Switch (I used the old version) and set it up, except, I finished the setup in HomeKit rather than in Hue.
In HomeKit, I set the “On” button to turn on the switch and the “Off” button to turn off the switch. The middle two were left unused and, therefore, had no action upon activation.
It is a workaround, but one that worked flawlessly if you have HomeKit.
Are you sure it's rated for 2300 Watts?
I'm in Canada (120 volts) and mine is rated for 1,800 Watts).
If you're in the UK (i.e. 240 volts), maybe the model sold there has a higher power rating.
Yup. I agree.
As much as I love my Hue smart plug, I wouldn't want to make it do any heavy lifting. The plug is designed to control lights, not power-hungry heating devices.
Even though the espresso machine may technically be below the 1,800 Watts the smart plug is rated for, over time, it's still going to stress it more if you push the relay closer to the maximum current it's rated for.
It says on the instructions for the smart plug that the relay is rated for 10,000 clicks (which is 5,000 on/off cycles). I don't know for sure, but I feel that driving an espresso machine/toaster oven/hair dryer/space heater or washing machine would probably wear it out faster and give you fewer on/off cycles before the relay dies.
I can't prove it's not a good idea but it feels like it's not good for the poor relay to run anything with either a heavy-duty motor or a heating element!
The Hue Essentials app has some nifty tricks that don't need any extra hardware other that actual hue lamps and the hue hub.
If I've done this right, the actual Amazon link (US) to the deal with possible affliate links removed:
Or search Amazon for: "Philips Hue Discover Outdoor White & Color Ambiance Smart Floodlight"
The light bar or the gradient strip?
I used this for my light bars: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085KVPS6F/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_WP8A9VDF9FKK87XY793Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I used the brackets and adhesive that came w the lightstrip and never had a problem.
Do you find that your particular TV runs hot to the touch on the back? I bet that could cause it to just peel off over time🤔.
Litcessory has some, amazon link below, probably more options on their website/amazon. Make sure you get the right version (same with extensions) the new V4 has different sized pins
Yeah, I was worried about that. Ended up reading about that update, so pulled the trigger. I have these cables going in to the HDMI Sync Box and through to the TV.

I installed with this Litever from Amazon. More than anything, it makes for a cleaner looking installation. It also makes the installation pretty simple.
I recently found that they added a feature to THIS app, that uses the camera on your phone to do what your asking.
Look under entertainment > Sync...
Works with my sheild Android TV box, oh yes sorry you install it on your Android TV box if you have one.
Looks like that is a candelabra base (e12 or e14) lamp. It also looks like you already have an a19 adapter screwed into it.
This should be what you need. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BNNHLNS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_.jNWFbFZSJWFF?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
What do you think of these for color?

THIS app has a police light effect that's looks decent.
I know it's only perhaps 50% of what you need but I hope it helps.
I wonder if there's a way with ITTT to build what you need?
It's a Mercury/Geeni Smart Wifi lightbulb. I have one similar, I purchased it I think at Canadian Tire under the brand name "Geeni Smart Wi-Fi Color Bulb" ... or something like that.
Try downloading "Smart Life - Smart Living" by Tuya Inc. on the Google Play Store, should be able to set it up using that app.

Sure - here's an example of one:

You could use something like this adaptor to extend the light strip and it wouldn't light the area the adaptor is in. You could potentially daisy chain multiple adaptors to extend the length if needed but I haven't tested it so can't comment on if that will work.
Slowly over time this app asks me questions about places I've been. I've gotten over $40 so far but it's been a year or more. It goes to app purchases and in-app purchases. Of you don't use it already, I highly recommend it.

The Hue Essentials app can do it. I had the same issue, constantly running back and forth but now it's no longer a problem!
