Pussy Cat is a game that some has had published that is, "A nice app made to tell you about your goods and bads." You can find out more in the Explore option in the Google Home app.
There's well over a hundred services you can talk to through Google Assistant.
Edit: There's a list of everything in Google Assistant if you tap that button, or here.
Just another of the thousands of 3rd party actions (similar to Alexa skills) the Home can do. Strangely these features get no advertising from Google and so are mostly unknown unless you activate one br accident. https://assistant.google.com/services
Anyone find themselves checking crypto prices 100 times a day? I built a chatbot for myself to easily stay updated on many crypto prices. Hope it helps others, too! https://assistant.google.com/services/a/id/5b4cd66d9957311b?source=web
Its a 3rd party action. They are sadly not well promoted by Google. For instructions just say "talk to mister home'.
You can find a list in actions here https://assistant.google.com/explore/
Provide a Tesla account to Google Home and Alexa. Not Google Assistant but ability for me to say "Hey, Google how much is state of charge" or "hey Google charge to 90%". I know there is EV CAR for Google Assistant but too many steps imo. Could cut this down just by having Tesla as a device for Google Home like Nest has.
I made a BT21 Trivia app and a Stuff BTS Says app on the Google Assistant! :D It's so hard when I know nothing abt coding or any of the jargon, but it's good practise for me, I think. I'm thinking of creating an app dedicated to playing Jin's windshield wiper laugh LOL
Anyways, I'm super excited to watch LY in Seoul later!!! Lowkey feel awkward bc I'll be watching it alone but T u T hopefully I can branch out to other ARMYs near me so I can make more friends
It's kinda hard to reach out to other ppl who have other friends w/o feeling you're butting in or intruding on their space
Small things tend not to be announced, but are happening daily. Larger things are usually announced through the assistant newsletter (which you can sign up for here) or through blog.google/products/assistant/. Sometimes new features are also highlighted by live cards in the google home app.
Nope. Ring is owned by Amazon and they have no useful compatibility with Google Home as a result. Here is a list of the utterly useless things you can do with Ring and Google Home. https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000e4ac17fd8b?e=-WebDirectoryEmbeddedWebviewExperiment&jsmode=o
Wow, so many people have tried it out since this post! Thanks everyone :)
I've just updated the app with a bunch of improvements to the speech recognition thanks to what I've learnt from you guys. Google's AI is (surprisingly!) not 100% perfect at identifying the names of Dota Heroes! I get round this by knowing Google's common mistakes and correcting them in order to respond to you. I set up a bunch before I launched the app, but there are so many ways of talking so it could only go so far. This means that now, if Google thinks you said:
True Sight will know that you actually meant to ask:
Also, I forgot to mention, if you want to send me feedback from the app, you can just say the word "Feedback" and it'll ask for what you'd like to say. Or you can PM me on reddit. Also, feel free to leave a review on the Google Assistant Directory :)
"me about satan" is a custom Google assistant "app" somebody built: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000004be6e703e1?hl=en
Asking it "Where am I?" apparently triggers the Google assistant's recommended app suggestion for it.
It doesn't appear malicious, just a funny name for the app to get GA to say, "I think you might like talking to 'me about satan'"
You can talk to air quality index, it should be able to give you the proper info:

Google has a massive online manual for how to use it. There are also a lot of books written about how to use Google Home which electronics stores sell in bundles when you buy it here.
Here's the directions examples:

「サンドラッグまでナビして」

The whole guide starts here (https://assistant.google.com/intl/ja_jp/) but there are tons of tips and hacks guides as well. Try Googling「google アシスタント 使い方」

Quick google search reveals Assistant can do quite a lot.
You probably can use Assistant's shortcuts or routines feature to simplify/customize the spoken commands, or string commands together.
> Assistant was a key Google differentiator ... Despite that, legions of Nexus ~~and Android~~ owners raged on here and made their feelings of anger and betrayal quite clear.
I'd argue the Nexus users' complaints were valid - Nexus was Google's line before the Pixel. also, it was proven early on that there was no hardware/software* requirement for Assistant that recent Nexus devices didn't meet.
Thank you all for the kind words :) I know the app is still far from perfect to give a seamless experience but I hope it can be useful to many people already. If you can, please leave a rating/review on the google's directory page which can help extend the reach. The listing is at https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000009e67666043?hl=en

Looks like there's no option to add it via Google home app.
Assistant depends on your phone specifications.

* Works on phones with Android 6.0 or higher with Google Play Services with >1.5GB of memory and 720p or higher screen resolution.
Taken from the bottom of https://assistant.google.com/platforms/phones/

Saying that, I have had it running on lower specs with a custom ROM.
Specifically regarding "Night Light" as a name:
There is a registered action called "Night Light" (here) which causes the conflict.
Just call it something else.
It's a shame. Google actions don't get the same kind of love that Alexa skills seem to. I think most people don't know they exist since Google doesn't promote them very well. In Alexa "skills" is a menu item in settings. In Google "Actions" is not seen anywhere.
Anyway my latest favorites action is Mastermind.

I'm in the same boat. I don't know if you know but there is <em>some</em> integration although useless. I don't expect it to be expanded though. Very sad.
Go to this Google Assistant directory page, and in the search bar type in “flash cards.” Lots of things show up. To use on GH, just say “OK, Google, talk to [name of flash cards].”
BTW, we just had lots of fun here with the Pokémon flash cards. Thanks for the tip!
It does, but not in the way you think - you can "ask Ring about the last time your doorbell rang" but what you can't do is to make your Google Home setup ring when someone's at the door. I think this is a limitation with Google Home, rather than with anything else.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000e4ac17fd8b
Multiple apps integrate with it, Allo included, but it's its own separate thing from them. AFAIK on Android it runs within Google Play Services.
Thanks for checking, and yes, I've been trying to test with "open" all this time.
That's a fascinating side note about security, because "open" is listed as one of the supported commands on the MyQ Google Assistant page. Maybe it's out of date? Not sure why they would list it and then not make it available. Not like there's another way to do it because it's Assistant-only (not in Home).
Anyway this is all moot until the integration starts working again, lol. I just wish I could call my Assistant hands-free while driving to open the garage as I get close, but it's looking like that might not be possible. I hope it works with the Custom Action command at least, if not voice. Will need to test when it starts working again.
The NissanConnect EV Action for the Google Assistant allows Nissan LEAF owners to access:
Honestly, I don't know because I don't have an Alexa device (we're a Google Assistant home :) ). By default the app "names" your rooms by letter once they're discovered, and then on the map you can "split" or "join" the original inferred rooms together to however you want it. And then you can name those rooms based on a set of hard-coded names (e.g. "Kitchen", "Living room", all the common room names). You can't type in a completely custom name at that point.
So it's conceivable that you could issue a command via Alexa because there are named rooms in the system. But if the documentation doesn't indicate that you can, then you probably can't at this point. If the i9+ can do that today, then I'd lean towards that direction.
I'm in Canada too, and the i9+ was substantially more expensive than the N8 Pro+ ($1250 vs $800 respectively) so I went with the latter. Plus, I was intrigued by the mopping ability of the N8 Pro+.
I'll try setting up the Google Home integration at some point over the next couple days and see how that goes. Some people on that link are claiming that they're able to ask for rooms to be cleaned by name, and other say they can't. So, we'll see.
Thank you for trying it out! I will say though that I have also published a Magic The Gathering database skill available on both platforms, and the version on Alexa is infinitely better at recognizing names. If you want to try it out on Google you can enable this skill for the Assistant. You will see for yourself just how unreliable it is.
You can, but you just have to phrase it correctly. You're not asking Assistant to send you a sample (it doesn't know how to do that), you're asking Assistant to let you talk to Send Me a Sample the entity.
I had the same issue when I'd ask for air quality, I'd have to remember to say "Ask AirCheck about CITY", because if I said "air quality CITY" or "air check CITY" Google would just run a search.
If you haven’t figured it out yet you can go here link it and your commands are like hey google tell shark to start cleaning, tell shark to return to dock, ask shark what it’s battery level is etc...
I had actually looked at the assistant app listings and found this one I was going to try as a backup, but your suggestion has a timer which the one I found didn't. Thanks!
I found it! Thanks so much for your help. The culprit is located here: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000000a67e18d73?hl=en
Strange that customer support did not immediately recognise this and sent me on a wild goose chase... As a 'solution' I added a routine to overwrite the 'How much longer?' behavior to 'Status timer?'.
so the google nest is the newer version? when i look up different features, such as character stories and alarms, it says available devices: google home. would that still work on the nest?
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000007210ebe766 like this one
and with the google nest can i control my lights?

The Google Assistant commands (for use with Roborock app) are shown at https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000058f3b600ba?hl=en-US Alexa is also supported. Neither currently allows vacuuming by room name, but they are working on that.
Another way to go about it. If you know any of the lyrics then type it into Google search
I made a Google Home app that lets you practice a spanish conversation. You have to set your google assistant to spanish then ask to speak with "Chat Espanol" You can find it here. https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000008713bb7a12?hl=es
What specifically is it doing, I cont find any new info besides the same thing on the assistant site(which has not changed) .https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000011fa6def1c?hl=en-US
"tell" indicates you want to talk to a third party app. I think you've found this one: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000425145db3c
You might have said something that sounds like "ay Google" and then something like "talk to mr dice" to trigger it. I recommend turning on the accessible beep to know when your devices have false triggered. Everything after the beep goes to Google so it can be helpful if you want to manage that a little closer.
OP, head to this link, and click "[view stored data]" and see what it's got from you.

No. There is no ability to auto update. Using a dedicated app from the play store is my suggestion. But you can search for 3rd party home actions https://assistant.google.com/explore/search?q=Muslim%20prayer&hl=en_us
Apple Ecosystem - You can connect the gateway to your HomeKit app. Then you're able to control it through the Home App, that comes with Mojave. Android and Windows system - Connect Tradfri App to Google Assistant and go to https://assistant.google.com/ on your PC.

maybe this will work. i sure as heck am going to try it because i was just wishing this was a feature the other night. you mentioning it prompted a quick search.
Google Assistant? If you have an Android phone, you should already have it. Looks like you can get it for iPhone too. I use it for various subscriptions, games, reminders, etc. https://assistant.google.com/#?modal_active=none
I didn't notice the original page being updated with Google Home, but I stumbled upon this while seeing if Muds had updated this morning.
Creator is Imperson so I think it's legit.
That's not a Google Assistant feature, it's a third party tie-in to Assistant.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000c75780153d?hl=en-US
I use google assistant throughout my day. It's the first thing i speak to in the morning and the last at bedtime. It's very functional but there are features that sort of break the common language thing.
In the explorer section or the website below that is a directory of actions there's an "Availability" section that lists compatible devices for each action.
https://assistant.google.com/explore/
Hope this helps :-)
Those are called "Actions on Google". They are like assistant apps developed by other people. You can talk to them by saying something like, "ok Google, talk to Starbucks". What ever you said must have triggered the RightsNow app. Here's the details page for that one: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000001304c8dd12
Here are some of the things I use it for most. I consider these things pretty mundane, but they're useful, and some may be new to you:
One second before seeing your post I asked mine "What day is Father's Day." My mini is in the bedroom so occasionally I have it "play the sound of a fan" at bedtime, which plays the sound of an oscillating fan. Usually upon waking I ask what the weather forecast is. I ask it lots of things. There is a super helpful website you should bookmark: assistant.google.com/explore
Have fun!
Can you see this in the assistant app under explore after you click the blue icon top right.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000923b374c4f
Maybe update both home and assistant.
In case anyone is interested, I used Google AI as part of Dialogflow to build an SEO chatbot recently - https://www.searchcandy.uk/seo-chat-bot/ & https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000b68b3d41d2
The cool thing is you can make an app yourself if you want.
Just recently I published London Bus
which allows me to check when my bus is leaving from my Google Home.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/id/3fb99b02b142ed4f/
Just say Ask London Bus when my the next bus is
You need to in London though as right now it's just going to use your current location to find the nearest bus stop, and you also can't specify which bus direction you want. (Working on that)
I don't think Google is going to cancel assistant for Android TV. That's what we're waiting on, Google to release assistant on Android TV. When Google's site changes from "Coming Soon" to "Available" expect to see Spot released.
Well, what you're calling Google Now is just the Google voice search. Google Now is the hub with all of your cards that gives you information automatically. Most of what that does is just listens to your voice and performs a Google search on what you say, and will read back information scraped from the web if there is any. And Maps is just voice commands. Neither of those are branded as Google Assistant, thought they both should really have the Assistant backend eventually.
Allo, Home, and Pixel all have the Google Assistant that are actually part of the Google Assistant product.
Welcome!

>The fact that I can add the Google Nest products to my Apple Homekit is no problem.
:) I think you may have misunderstood. This doesn't make the google HomeKit Compliant. This actually bridges you homebridge accessories to google. So like, If I make a dummy switch or bridge my PS4, this would allow me to add it to the Google Home ecosystem as well.

>I looked at IFTTT but couldn't find a way to call up Apple HomeKit scenes.I've only found one way to create applets myself. Could you please post me a tutorial on how to use Google Voice Commands with Apple HomeKit.
Correct, because we would use a r/pushcut automation server to do it :) it has an integration with IFTTT. This would act as our bridge to IFTTT and therefore Google.

>I want to control the Apple HomeKit with the precision of the Google voice assistant.("Hey Google"). (Nest Mini)
Yep! So my suggestion is using bridging like Homebridge/Pushcut and also using native device integrations for GA. For example, I have Meross plugs. They are native HomeKit. But they integrate into Google Assistant via its own integration. Most HomeKit compliant accessories do this with some rare exceptions.
French here and same problem mate
Used to do it all with one vocal "remind me to .. at .."
But now it set alarms or countdown time
The only workaround I found was to do it in 2 step "Create a reminder" Then it prompts the forms and you have to tell what you want in the reminder
So it's 2 steps and you have to wait for Google assistant to speak between the first and second step, lame
Another work around, create a shortcut for this link and you can do it manually : https://assistant.google.com/reminders/mainview?pli=1
Waiting for a fix :')
Not currently, no. You would either need to log into their account, or just use their device. There is this handy site to see routines in a browser, but I'm not sure how it's tied to a particular account. Maybe by who's logged in to that browser?
Comb through your Gmail, routines, calendar and chrome extensions.

I used Android Studio to emulate an Android phone then I tested more around and found that this Goolge Assistant feature has a "compass icon" which allows you to search features. This here, is the feature https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000024216d4bb8
You can use the Wi-Fi you have for now. once you’ve decided on an automation system, you can decide if you want to change Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi doesn’t need to be integrated with home automation. Some people like it, but it’s not required.
You may already have smart items around your home that already integrate with Alexa or Google. If you’re already leaning towards Google, try downloading Google Assistant https://assistant.google.com/. Then get an Assistant compatible smart bulb. They’re economical, and they allow you to test several key features of home automation:
Touch control: Touching virtual buttons to turn things on. Touching virtual control surfaces to change settings Voice control: Saying “Hey Google, Turn on my lights.” Or Hey Google, Change my lights to blue.” Automations: automatically turn off when you leave, turn on when you come home, and dim and change to the same color as your bullet proof hoodie (to confuse any thief who tries to enter while you sleep). Integrations: turn on lights to full brightness in the color of the hoodie when the camera or motion detector senses something wrong, so the thieves are blinded and can’t see you in your bulletproof hoodie.
This is not too difficult to achieve using the Google Sheets API or Firestore as a database store. There's already an action called Vodo Drive which lets you read/write to a sheet.
Thinq devices do integrate, but with varying capabilities and it can often be hard to find specific information on many of these appliances.
The Google Assistant page for the action is a good place to start.
In addition, the Google Assistant device types page shows the sort of capabilities developers can use with their devices which gives you an idea of what may be possible.
I got it for free but would not pay for it. It doesn't actually integrate with Google Home, although it says it does - it actually works with Google Assistant. So you have to voice-command it with convoluted statements like "Hey Google, Ask MyQ to close the garage door." Often it works, sometimes it asks me which Garage Door I want to close. (There is only one). If I ask it "Hey Google, Ask MyQ is my garage door open?" then google responds with repair services for local garage door repair places. It requires an agreement to pay a monthly subscription fee which they give you free for a year, so I'll disconnect at that point.
To control it from your phone requires a separate app - it doesn't interact with Google Home.
Read the reviews, 1.4 stars: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000007bf3a229f4?hl=en_us
Weird, the 'ask harmony' action showed as retired for me over 2 years ago already.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000041e9445109?hl=en-US
I guess the support for the old action was finally terminated now.
Anyway, it's way easier to control without have to say 'ask harmony' all the time.
Maybe you can do something with routines to fix the volume issue?
Hey u/CyberChr1s - what a cool idea! Is this your app? I love the idea of being able to warm up the car with an assistant command. Nice work!
I would recommend making sure you're signed up for notifications and announcements on Connected Home here. It would be beneficial to keep this in mind as you move forward with development, especially on the manufacturing side.
You can also sign up for early access opportunities with Google Assistant here.
Like conversation action or a permanent panel(s)?
The reason I am asking one would only be possible by Google and others probably already exist but you can easily create your own, e.g. Ask xxx for the price of YYY
FOR EXAMPLE: Ask CryptoPrices for the price of Bitcoin, and there are already some prebuilt
Ask TD Ameritrade for my watchlist
Check my TD Ameritrade portfolio
But first check with already existing https://assistant.google.com/explore/c/2/?hl=en-US
Yes, you can! I had issues when I first tried it, but a tip from a review helped me resolve the issue. I had to add a routine that converts "tick tick" to "TickTick".

The review:
"For anyone struggling with Assistant recognizing "TickTick", the problem is that it hears "tick tick". What I did to kind of fix this issue was set up Google Assistant Routines where I type in "Let me talk to Tick Tick" and then it does the action of "Let me talk to TickTick". This works for the the trigger, but I haven't been able to figure out how to word my routines where I can add a task in one sentence. Plus, once I get into TickTick, the A.I. is terrible for actually adding tasks."

Relink google assistant and todoist. Currently the link page appears to be down for Todoist.

It's this. https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000005a6483d93d Google has an assistant directory where you can find over 1 million commands that link to services and "apps" from other companies.
I'm just running the HA from the play store. I connected the Google assistant through HA Cloud integration. Edit: Here is some documentation. https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000091fd5fb875?hl=en-US https://www.nabucasa.com/config/google_assistant/
I don't have an AC, but just set all the buttons up in the Broadlink app and you should be fine. If you don't link all the buttons you can't use the commands.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000f80c5a490b?hl=en-US
After several emails with Bestway, they gave a solution that nearly worked. Here's the correct method for linking on an android phone.
Open google home app
tap your account, top right
tap "assistant Settings"
Tap "explore"
Search for "lay z spa"
Tap the "lay-z-spa" logo (small left column) - don't tap the right side
tap "link"

Instead, you can use this link (also works on a computer): https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000007223b1cb64

Now you can ask commands. Make sure to prefix with 'Ask Lazy Spa...." eg. Ask Lazy Spa to turn the heat on, Ask Lazy Spa to turn the filter on
It's pretty hit and miss. Good luck!
You can find the list of commands here. However, there are no commands for selective room cleaning so looks like Roborock didn't update the page yet.
Here are a few (this is before room naming!) on Google Assistant site. Hope it helps.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000058f3b600ba?hl=en-US&source=web
Yeah you can! Create a routine in the google home app. You can set multiple custom phrases. You can also use it to run multiple commands at once. So you could have google home turn on the smart plug and then turn it off again. You probably need to add a delay, otherwise the garage door will likely stop. To do this I use Mr. Home. In the routine just add the command “talk to Mr. Home for <delay here>”
Mr. Home: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000136c3abfe7?hl=en
I assume OP is talking about Google assistant.
When you ask it to add an item to your shopping list it adds them on a website. Using existing apps, like keep, to do this made too much sense for Google.
As for the OP I haven't tried to add anything but it is still there on my google home app under services. It is just a link to https://assistant.google.com/lists/
"Talk to Mister Home" may be a solution - Doesn't work in Australia though so unable to confirm.
https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000136c3abfe7
I've figured out how to make it work! It's not as Google integrated as I would have liked, but it gets the job done!

Make a Rezepthos account as stated in another comment and make sure it's set up to same address as your Google account is. Upload your recipe. Then, follow the instructions here: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000fde9c41cce?hl=en-US

What I really love about this is that it's all MY recipes. I have family recipes in handwritten cookbooks that I can now add to Rezepthos, and it will guide me to cook MY bolognese, not same random bolognese from a random website.

I'm a happy home cook now!!
> Google assistant cannot operate your phone. You can only ask it to search the internet.
This is completely wrong. Inform yourself.
>"Hey Google, call xyz" and it didn't work
It should work because it does for me. Besides, you could've taken about 10 seconds to search and read this https://assistant.google.com/
I'd like to see the possibility for a delay between actions of a routine as simply having run then rightvafter eachother doesn't always work.
My most recrnt try is to power off and on again a power plug where a wifi repeater is plugged into. A repeated, scheduled powercycle would address issues with the current buggy mesh related part of its firmware. However the actions to first set the plug to Off and then On again is not able to perform them all the time. Hence was looking into putting a delay between both actions. There is no default option to do this (wait x seconds or minutes or whatever), workarounds like "count to x" while trying not to have it make a sound feel contrived.
I stumbled onto Mister Home on https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000136c3abfe7 which seems on paper as being able to suplly the delay I'm looking for, however it does not work. No idea if it is myanguage setting, region or country, but its funtionality (apparently created by https://ghomefrance.com/ in France, with a French instruction video that is referred to when you are able to use "send to device" of this functionality to your phone. But know it most of the time it states in google assistant something like "sorry, cannot find that".
Also its actual funtionality does not appear to work as an action setting it to 37 seconds or whatever, but is just enough even broken to cause a mimimal delay so that marking the plug off and on again kept still working consistently.
Having a simple feature like a delay of mere seconds or minutes is a must between some actions. One should not require a 3rd party or a "talk to Mister Home for 8 seconds silently" application. It should be build-in...
This gives me more and more the incentive of wanting to host my own automation solution (ideal situation, no internet dependency) at home to be able to have full control, but this might not be something for everyon less tech savvy.
So just stumbled onto Mister Home (https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/000000136c3abfe7) yesterday as I was looking for something I would have considered standard fare and that is being able to have a delay between actions of a google home routine, in my case setting a Hue power plug to off and the on again. There is a wifi repeater connected to it that I want to be powercycled regularely as the current firmware has it dropping out of the mesh.
As I noticed simply using the action to set ot to Off and then On again sometimes appeared to skip the On part I wanted to build in a short delay of a few seconds and was amazed that such an option is not available by default.
So found some references to "wait 5 seconds" (which appears to have been deprecated?), the workaround "count from x" (with additional actions before and after to have it not speak up aloud) but "talk to Mister Home for 5 seconds silently" seems what I was looking for.
However even though it didn't actually work, I still was able to talk to Mister Home using the Google Assistant on my phone where it showed how it worked, while the action itself caused a delay just long enough for the Off/On actions to always be run. However today this acrion causes issues? Don't seem to be able to communicate at all anymore to Mister Home?
There is pretty much no info if this functionality is also limited possibly to certain countries or rather the language settings to have it work?
Having a simple option to add wait/delay between actions would be a geat improvement. I wonder if it was a simple oversight or on purpose as what would happen if there would be an interruption of internet connection or otherwise preventing the next action(s) from being performed as people might depend on it to work (like shutting something off after a while after having it automatically enabled)?
I have a 3-camera Eufy 2C kit on order and my house is very Google-fied...nest mini's in every room and a google smart display in the kitchen. I'm just hoping I can say "Hey Google show me the front camera" to that smart display and it will come up. Seems to be a LOT of conflicting info on if this will work for the 2C or not, even this page says "Eufy Cam" and "Eufy Cam E": https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/00000040647b148c?hl=en-US
Use the Home app then follow the instructions in your post. Google actions (aka services) are not downloaded to the device in the normal sense. They are run online with your device providing a link to action.
Here is a direct link to the only nightlight action I know about. https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000009b4aa270f5?hl=en-US
BTW. Google is always changing the location of the settings menu. If your instructions are more than a couple months old then the location has probably changed.
If you're using an older GH device, like the original Home or an older Mini, go to this page and use the "Send Link to Device" button. Weird, I know and it took me weeks to find this page. Read the first review for more info (it's mine).

I always thought that a delayed timer is a basic function but years later, still not working that I know of.
I finally just left the app for the switches on my phone because most come with a timer function. Tap tap be done.
Possibly. I did briefly consider that but I thought if it was a different account issue it should not work by voice or routine.
So what happens when you hit change account?
When I tested the action I had to give it permission to use my Google account. If you did that with the wrong account I can see it ignoring you request in the routine. Go to the Able Style action page and unlink your account. Then set it up again. https://assistant.google.com/u/0/services/a/uid/0000009ab2ca2138
Home app and Assistant app are 2 different apps so it's possible to sign in with different accounts.
Thank you for your reply!
Unfortunately, I don't have any set of publicly available commands list I can refer to.
Until now, I made several trial and errors one by one to find verbal commands that could invoke command like SetFanSpeed.
Since I'm currently testing with SensorState trait interrogative query, I'm facing same difficulties to find correct verbal command to invoke each trait in my language.
Moreover, this verbal command (or partial example) does not shown in the Assistant explorer (https://assistant.google.com/explore) in my language.
Is there any, like, public(?) reference to solve my problem?
Have you tried this app - Help Me Sleep
Hey Google Ask help me sleep to play white noise
Hey Google Ask help me sleep to play pink noise for 10 hours
Hey Google Ask help me sleep to play piano music for 8 hours
There are no loops and plays some 10 different sounds

Right. But that command as it's worded might not be built into YTM, which is why it could be triggering GPM instead.
I guess, ultimately, if you're asking Google to play a specific playlist and it's successfully playing that playlist, does it really matter if it's being done via YTM or GPM? Either way it's playing the music you want played.
If it's bothering you that much, you can go full scorched-earth and try deleting your entire GPM library and playlists. Everyone that transferred to YTM still has access to their full GPM library so maybe a complete deletion will prevent it from playing on your non-default service that Google is still allowing you to access.
This has honestly been an issue on my end ever since i merged my nest account with google. With so many emails being sent to Nest and Google Home support, neither of them are able to pinpoint why the merging process corrupts our google accounts. My home was deleted by itself and my old subscription was unfortunately cancelled by itself as well. Which also deleted all of my saved familiar faces which now i have to start over. One thing to point out here since u/RachelFromGoogle has replied to this post is that ive realized im no longer able to ask any of my google home assistants to "sync my devices". Every time i do, it always gives me an error that states "syncing devices for nest is unavailable". So clearly something happened when the merger process had occurred and i believe this too be the main culprit on every problem people are having with their accounts. This really needs to be looked into and have a fix be pushed out by google. Or even have a feature where we can reset our google home and nest accounts so that we can start from scratch. Just FYI, ive also discovered that going to https://assistant.google.com/explore/youractions?hl=en-US lists that nest is a linked service when it clearly shouldn't if they are now merged. My apologies for this long rant OP and not to take away the situation you were in, but its somewhat similar and im just hoping google and nest can finally stop ignoring this and actually push out a fix or solution. Too much money has been invested and its a shame we as the consumers have to deal with their broken products and services.
That's great feedback thank you!
That's very interesting what you say about returning users - it seems like your device or GA account has problems (or disables) local storage... I'll look into that as the game has the logic for returning users (and suggests skipping the instructions).
Returning to the old game - I'll think about it!
Triggering other assistants - that's actually cool feature haha ;)
If you don't mind leaving a quick review on the game's page, that would be fantastic: https://assistant.google.com/services/a/uid/0000007d2d11f9c1?jsmode=o&hl=en-GB&source=web

This is one of the things I miss about using Alexa. I saw a YouTube video that mentioned using Mister Home but haven't tried it yet.
