I don't use habits part of ticktick because it doesn't offer any type of visualizations and summarized statistics of my habits. Because of that I use Loop Habit Tracker, which does have what I want but is only available on Android and not on Windows or Web. If they implement types of graphs like the ones in Loop Habit Tracker, I am going to switch immediately.
I think he's referring to an Outlook Addon for TickTick.
Funny, but I can't find it anymore. But I believe there was an official TickTick page about it.
I was also testing it couple of months earlier, but it was buggy and in general didn't work well for me.

Edit: found it here: https://ticktick.com/about/download?language=en\_US
Yeah, the UI/UX is absolutely terrible compared to the previous version. Gonna try rolling back versions, we'll see how we go.
Edit: Wow well that was ten times easier than I thought, all the old versions are here.
You can't. This is why I wish developers would get rid of the concept of keeping project folders in the left-pane and move to a "task outline" view like MyLifeOrganized has (www.mylifeorganized.net). I'm not using MyLifeOrganized right now because they don't have a good calendar solution which I need but IMO they have the right and best idea. the project title would just be a task that you could change into a non-clickable item. You could add dates to it (for those who time-block) and filter using the outline which, in their app, is pretty flexible.
In your case, you would just move the task out from under it's parent and perhaps mark it as a project and it would be easy. Ticktick, Todoist, ClickUp and just about every other task management app will has us performing double-entry and retype the subtask as a project. Dumb IMO. Poeple don't realize it but what they really need is a task outline. TickTick Devs, get rid of the left-side project-pane concept.
Now, back to your regular scheduled program...
Update #2 for today: I got it to work! Here are the steps I took:
pkill -f TickTick defaults delete com.TickTick.task.mac rm -rf ~/Library/Containers/com.TickTick.task.mac rm -rf ~/Library/Group\ Containers/75TY9UT8AY.com.TickTick.task.mac killall -u $USER cfprefsd

When "Habit" is enabled on mobile apps, desktops can display the corresponding Habit data in "Today""Next 7 Days", and "Calendar". Directly from desktops, you can see what habits you have for today; view statistics of each Habit; receive reminders; and check in the Habit.
Here is the link for easy access: https://ticktick.com/about/download
I couldn't find the wearos link, it just points me to the official app :( Still, here is the link that the "Open on phone" showed -> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ticktick.task
Hope it helps
the calendar subscription will show all event in the web https://ticktick.com/webapp/#c/all/calendar/m, but the old version app can't show all.
now it's show all subscription event in android app and windows app.
Just stumbled onto this thread and this comment, and since you like the moods attached to TickTick habits, I wanted to suggest an app you might love: Daylio. I use TickTick for to-dos, but Daylio is fantastic for habits. It's wildly customizable, and provides a great way to see, at a glance, how your moods and accomplishments and habits affect each other.
To further detail the answer (which solved my problem, thanks!):
Go to TickTick Web > Your Avatar > Settings > Calendar & Mail (this URL)
Then in the "Subscribe TickTick in your calendar app" section (which should be the second one), you will see a "Enable the URL" button.
When you click it all your lists will appear in a dropdown, then you simply choose the one you want to have a specific calendar URL created for.
(Cannot post images here which would help a bunch so had to be detailed in text 🤷♂️)
I hope this helps!
I see you got a Xiaomi device, you can install "Lockscreen widgets" it's easy to use.
Happy birthday btw!
I try to reproduce my flow in Zapier, but the Zapier <> Ticktick integration is not good. The main problem is if you create a note is a task. But you can easily convert it to a note. ( right-click convert to note)

I hope it's helpful to you guys!
Gmail can similarly be set up to auto-forward to your ticktick email address using a filter. Or, more directly, you can configure your IFTTT email service to send directly to the ticktick email address. This is appropriate if you're only using the IFTTT email service with ticktick.
Awesome hack to add specific commands for specific lists! I didn't know you could send them anywhere other than Inbox.
I was able to get Google Assistant to create tasks by using IFTTT and TickTick's "Add tasks via email" feature. I created my own IFTTT applet that triggers with the phrase "Add a task", with whatever is said afterwards is the email subject. Gmail integration with IFTTT is broken so I had IFTTT's own email service send an directly to my personal TickTick task email address.
I've only just created it but from my initial testing it works fine. There's a slight delay in the task being added but so far it's less than a minute. IFTTT adds a whole bunch of extra crud to the body of the email but that wasn't a big deal for me.
I've published it on the IFTTT platform so anyone can use it now. The description has steps to implement, I'm limited in characters so hopefully it's clear enough :)
Based on ticktick's page https://ticktick.com/about/security on the topic, it more or less relies on how well they protect their VPSs on AWS, and how AWS protects the infrastructure. But more or less if there's a breach well that's that. Even major websites do get breached.
They would mention there if the data's encrypted for sure as that's something to boast about, but since it isn't, it isn't. They wouldn't be able to have that search feature or auto-complete task feature as fast as it is online if things were encrypted. Again if they could, it's something to boast about.
If you can get money to a trusted person outside of Russia, you could consider using gift cards: https://ticktick.com/card
I used this with the help of my best friend, because I do not own a credit card and none of the payment options allow payment without one.
you can set your tick tick to automaticaly create tasks from all emails that you receive on a custom provided address. And then set IFTTT to just send there the emails that you wish.
check here: https://ticktick.com/webapp/#settings/subscribe
You point obsidian to a local folder. And you use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ttxapps.drivesync
and you sync folder on google drive which is vault with selected local folder.
You have two directional sync now.
Hope it make sense.
You can't do what you are trying to do because Gmail doesn't provide a "Share with app" feature for an entire email. There's nothing TickTick can do about that, but there are two options for what you want to do:
The first option is good if you only want to send part of a message to the task, while the second option is the fastest and smoothest way to send something that you'll edit later. Just create a contact entry with your custom TickTick email address, and from then on all you have to do is forward a message to that contact, whether on mobile or your desktop, and it'll show up in TickTick.
Yes, you can! I had issues when I first tried it, but a tip from a review helped me resolve the issue. I had to add a routine that converts "tick tick" to "TickTick".

The review:
"For anyone struggling with Assistant recognizing "TickTick", the problem is that it hears "tick tick". What I did to kind of fix this issue was set up Google Assistant Routines where I type in "Let me talk to Tick Tick" and then it does the action of "Let me talk to TickTick". This works for the the trigger, but I haven't been able to figure out how to word my routines where I can add a task in one sentence. Plus, once I get into TickTick, the A.I. is terrible for actually adding tasks."

I used a stylesheet override on the website so that the height of the description box was a fixed number of pixels less than the height of the height of the whole screen. As such, on the actual webpage, the bottom right hand corner is just empty. The icons down the bottom right are then just Rainmeter widgets to occupy that space, which are overlaid on top of anything else on the screen. So they're not a hidden feature of TickTick, sorry!
Ooh, I guessed you mean app that combine task management and time tracking. I used before this service https://trackingtime.co/
Also I saw ads for ClickUp task manager https://clickup.com/ they say that they have both of those features
I don't think this is an easy one. At the risk of sounding repetitive, you're asking for all 10 versions of TickTick to be able to accurately control notifications between all the devices you may have, in real-time. I don't even know if this is possible from a security PoV. I understand the sentiment because I too use TickTick on the same 3 devices as you do, but this one may not be fixed in the near-future
Yeah sure! It's nothing fancy, but I have a bookmark on my browser with this as the URL/Location:
javascript:(function(){window.open("https//ticktick.com/","_blank","menubar=no,location=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,left=0,top=0,height=733,width=505");})();
In the URL you can switch it out with the path to any of your lists (ex. I direct mine at work only to my work lists automatically). The height and width work well for my setup on my laptop screen as it takes up a third and leaves the other third for Skype.
Also, I actually prefer using this on IE because the window isn't sizable as it is on other browsers. I prefer that for this use-case but feel free to use it anywhere!
Doesn't appear to. Using both the app and accessing via browser on a Mac, Little Snitch tells me it access Ticktick.com, Crashlytics, cloudfront (Amazon Web Services) and that's it. Brave Browser tells me that it's tried to access cloudfront and Google analytics.
Health warning - I'm not a network guru, but hope that helps
You name it I have tried it I have been looking for a good process for a decade. My fall back has been google task with an android app called CalenGoo. What I like is it is fast with either a task or an event and you can have sub tasks in a task or event it's a cool app just dated. The next Modern one I want to try is DynaList but it's pricy.
Gamification helps to create good habits
I have been playing this cool little game Habit hunter (link IOS or link Android). It's an RPG, the point of it is to put habits your trying to make and habits your trying to break on it. Every time day or week you do it, you check it off and you get gold to unlock clothes and other things. When you don't or you do a negative habit you lose hp. This is great to keep your goals going...hope it helps someone else. My list is longer than this now. Keeping little me alive
