I have these on my 2019 Artis 7 Wireless. I’m assuming the 7P is just a color change to match PlayStation aesthetics.
I removed the 980 Pro and put the 4TB SN850X into the console. Then, I bought an M.2 SSD enclosure for my 980 Pro. In doing research, I learned a lot of M.2 SSD enclosures are NOT compatible with PS5. I did find one that is compatible, however: The ASUS ROG STRIX Arion enclosure. It came with a USB A 3.1 to USB C cable that you can plug into the back of the PS5, then plug into the enclosure. The cable, however, was defective. I had to buy another cable from Anker which worked. There's also no heatsink necessary as the enclosure acts as its own heatsink.
As for the transferring, unfortunately, if you transfer games from the internal drive to the 4TB SSD, you can't just insert it into the console. If you intend to keep the 4TB SSD as an external drive, then do what I mentioned above and get that enclosure. But if you want it internally in the console, then you'll have to download everything all over again. It's a pain, but with the amount of space you'll be left with, you won't have to do that again for a long time.
Also remember, you can't play PS5 games off of the external drive, only PS4 games. Even if its an M.2 that's compatible with the console. I tried. You can store PS5 games there though. This is why I switched out the 980 Pro for the SN850X. What type of heatsink are you using with the 980 Pro?
No problem! You will have as much space as you'll ever need for the life of the PS5, I think. And I use the Sabrent as well, but with the SN850, I heard it's the hottest running SSD, so I would think the SN850X will be even hotter, so I just got a new SSD cover, the ElecGear, which according to NASCompares, outperforms the Sabrent heatsink cover in temperature tests.
8TB SSDs are fairly new to consumers. I think only one or two manufacturers even make some, and they are currently priced out of reach for the average consumer. I assume it will be this way for some time. I'm happy with 4TB + my 2TB SSD inside the enclosure.
If you're talking about the 980 Pro, the version you purchased does not come with a heatsink. You'll need one for the PS5. Again, I recommend the Sabrent PS5 SSD heatsink cover or the ElecGear PS5 SSD heatsink cover. They're pretty easy to install. You'll need some better thermal pads for the ElecGear one than what is provided in the box. So if you just want a simple installation, get the Sabrent. That SSD cover replaces the internal SSD cover that the PS5 comes with. It'll keep your console from overheating.
Ah, I understand now. Yeah, that makes it difficult. I already own the SSD, so I didn't need it a second time 🤣. However, it is up for sale again on Amazon for the same price, but obviously without any discounts. It does include the option to pay in 5 installments of $75 dollars per month, which might be easier for someone to digest than paying $375 up front. I did buy mine on Amazon last month as part of their Black Friday preview sale, but it was priced at $399. I did have 200 bucks in Amazon credits I used towards it and paid out of pocket only $235. Great deal for me to get such a large SSD. Do you own this SSD or something similar of the same capacity?
It's currently sold out on the WD website, but it is currently available on Amazon for $374.99. If you're like me and have credits saved, you could get it at a lower price. I had 200 dollars in Amazon credits saved, so when I bought it last month for 399 in a Black Friday preview sale, I only paid 235 after taxes. It was well worth it.
It's actually called "my game collection" on Android. It has more details, like how long to beat times and metacritic scores, and customization than others that I've seen.

Seems they dropped the price to $207.99 earlier today and then some kind of lightning deal for Prime Members only bringing it to $197.59 but best deal Ive seen on the WD SN850 with heatsink

no heatsink model (WHY?) is 189.99
Also available at Amazon for the same price
Hi OP,
It is recommended to publish links to external websites as below:

This will remove the unwanted tracking unless you have an explicit referral code attached to it.
Great game BTW !
I had the same fear myself, as I'm taking no chances with my ps5 overheating.
If you don't mind going another $20 I ordered this as my heatsink.

It's got pretty good ratings from what I've seen in reviews online and YouTube video reviews.
Not sure if you meant you are looking for them in a combo or separately but here’s #1 for $32
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (PS4) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KK6D28X/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AYBTH9HHYKNNBJN1B9HZ
And #2 for $33
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II (PS4) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07KMNJXZD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6X5ET6EB5B9ZHSBZ30FR
The XPG 1TB S70 Blade has better performance and is only $129 even when not on sale. Sometimes it drops to $119. This is made by AData, which is one of the top brands of flash products, and isn’t some generic knockoff like I assumed at first since didn’t know Adata had a “gaming” brand.
I'm not sure if you're still looking for one, but I saw online that a lot of people had success updating their drive with this PCIE internal adapter from Amazon. I haven't personally tried it, but it's worth a shot.
As someone who installed this, I can tell you it's a solid SSD, it's good for the money. Used the SABRENT M.2 NVMe Heatsink for The PS5 Console, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09HSQQWCL/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_N6EM79X2CE41CB4MM6F4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ,to cool it, used it for a month now and I love the combination on the PlayStation
this one is $139

some of the reviews say that you'll have to leave a lid off, not the face plate but the one for the ssd, but mine was able to fit after just fine, so those might be old versions that didnt fit properly.
When adding to the cart it looks like it can only be picked up in stores starting Friday. It's also $25 on Amazon for the PS4 version.
Deathloop is $25 at Walmart but $30 at Amazon too right now.
thanks... i just noticed a lot of the SSDs are actually being discounted as of today.
just saw this one .. that has 6100 read ("up to 7400")
