/r/sanctionedsuicide.
None of the other communities come close, I hate most of the other mental health subs because of course all pro-choice talk is banned and the mods are the typical garbage everyone here is probably familiar with which leaves a sour taste about posting even if you stay within their stifling rules, and all of the good alternatives also got banned. The only remaining subs along these lines are so censored that they're not the same, also have shitty mods, and apparently the website of the same name has also fallen to bad administration (though I don't know the full story). Congrats reddit, you successfully killed one of the only support communities I and many others found useful because it was too scary to advertisers and perpetuate the lie that it was some toxic death encouragement community with your disingenuous suicide hotline ban message.
Obligatory shill for the Saidit.net alternative for anyone who may be searching, though it's not very active. Still no discussion of illegal transactions allowed but other than that the dude who runs saidit it seems pretty reasonable and is at least transparent about what is and is not allowed on their fucking site.
And? Does it matter what they think? Perseverance isn't determined by genetics at all. That is a choice we all make.
Normally I'm not one to recommend how people choose to get there but in this instance, I will recommend a book that finally changed my perspective many years ago. It was meant for organizations but then I started applying this mindset to part of my personal life. Not all but part and found my view started to change slowly.
Worth a shot if your interested...
I can't speak for everyone but I like lolis, though, the idea of seeing actual cp is fucking disgusting. Also, I just think kids are kind of gross in general. I've never been "turned on" by a kid and I don't really understand how anyone could be. Though, I suppose that's why it's a mental illness.
Personally, I don't really think it's all that different from watching a violent movie. Yeah, I think something like this is cool af. However, I understand it's fictional and I can separate fantasy from real life. I might enjoy watching fantastical violence but I'm far from a violent person. Hell, I don't really even have any desire to own a gun much less shot people. I see loli as the same way. It's fictional characters and I have no desire to actually fuck kids nor do I want to see actual cp just like I don't want to see actual videos and pictures of people getting shot and killed or do any killing myself.
