The live map was a nice touch!
I'm guessing you sped this up afterwards? Have a look at software like this, it can be surprisingly different (example), though that one adds a watermark because it's in preview or something.
It is better to buy in Australia because of the additional consumer protection they offer. My boyfriend's macbook got busted (manufacturing defect) and he managed to get it replaced back home in Singapore (they were obligated to replace due to the Australian consumer law that the purchased MBP was registered under).
iirc, the consumer protection is like a 24 month warranty. More info.
^also, ^hi ^fellow ^new ^schoolmate ^;)
ah, yay! Hobart is wonderful :) i'm also a few minutes from Hobart!
are you new to Hobart? even if not, i found meetup.com really helpful when i move to new cities! Hobart has quite a few groups and plenty to do.
i'm usually quite busy and a bit of a hermit, but with semester just ending i'm about to have a few weeks of freedom, so if you'd be interested in hanging out, let me know! no pressure but i'm around :)
Hi mate,
Satelite NBN is, i guess, 'the last' option when it comes to NBN connections.I'd no sooner try and find a 4g plan and get a dongle than be on satelite nbn (depending on the 4g coverage. Telstra is always going to be your best bet here, unless a local provider can do one better.)
Cloud coverage, weather etc are all going to be factors with satelite nbn.If it were me, i'd be taking up my phone to the area and seeing what sort of speed you get (either visit fast.com or download the speedtest app).
TLDR; like all NBN connections, every single person is going to have different experiences with different locations and different providers.

EDIT: i'm a tech advisor, if you're willing to give me your new address details i could give you my further 2c.
