Ooo, thanks for this. Digging a little deeper, it looks like roBurky may have transformed that mod into 'Meaningful Stories' mod that redesigns the moods and emotions system. And they have another one called Fitness Controls that looks interesting.
i think it might work if i can find that link to Awesims backups
Edit: It's here https://mega.co.nz/#F!NIsR3JAb!-2e_1UWE3AMCEgkKRYXO1A

I recommend checking out r/Piracy for tips. You just need a good VPN that supports P2P (peer-to-peer, aka torrents) and a killswitch (this makes sure that if the VPN connection drops, you won't revert to your default connection.) I use NordVPN for its many deals and ease of use.
You may be able to right-click on a .zip file and extract it from file explorer (windows). on mac you can extract .zip files in finder.
I have used this program for a while and it works great. https://www.7-zip.org
For .rar files, you need to convert them to .zip; i can't remember if the program i linked will do that or not. i don't download .rar files cause it's too much effort for me lmao
Make sure you extract the files to the correct location. On windows it should be under documents\users\electronic arts\the sims 3\mods\packages.
Sometimes you need to install the "mods" folder in order for it to work properly. check out modthesims.info, they have awesome resources and tutorials.
happy simming!
