Given my point was that most TF2 community servers died in the aftermath of MyM and that Skial has the lion's share of the remaining populated ones, no.

A lot of people in the reviews for the mouse complain about movement consistency. Might be your mouse screwing you over. There are good wireless mice out there, just not this one.
Everything you'll ever need is on the first page and a half of the document in the sidebar, with links to hundreds of casted matches and STV demos.
Yeah, I wouldn't use it, but I think the consensus is that RS is OP even for soldier.
See if this link works for you RS is considered OP/game breaking in general for soldier.
That link is ESEA weapon bans (how they decided it).
I barely even remember what the stock hud looks like.
How does this compare: https://sites.google.com/site/drdonutmantf2/my-hud
Edit: oops, I didn't really read your op.
You could try installing
"HudDamageAccount"
"TargetID"
"SpectatorGUIHealth"
from eve hud to the stock hud
Yeah, I'll be dropping a thread on r/tf2 soon, maybe today.
Patreon apparently will be instituting a one time payment option sometime soon, but in the meantime you can send us a donation through Paypal Let me know if there are any issues with that link as someone else had a problem, and I can pm you the e-mail associated with it.
Cheers!
The only thing that worked was this program called SmoothMouse. Even then, it only works for some games, and development is usually behind OSX by a version or two. There was also some setting I had to adjust in TF2 itself for SmoothMouse to work, but honestly its been so long since I did all that I can't remember what it was. Be prepared to do a lot of troubleshooting, Apple has a hardon for mouse acceleration so turning it off is painful. Good luck.
What I've been doing for years is play TF2 and other games in exclusive fullscreen mode on my main monitor, but use DisplayFusion to keep it maximized even when it loses focus.
Only issue is that this a paid program (really great for multiple monitors tho) and I've been looking for a free alternative for preventing games from minimizing but there just don't seem to be any. It's weird because the DF devs claim all they do is tell Windows to not apply the "minimize fullscreen application upon losing focus" flag to the game. You'd thus think this is a simple thing a hobbyist programmer would have come up with by now, but it doesn't seem so.
i use wickedplayer494's Community Blacklist to blacklist most servers that are known to have crap experiences and whatnot and on top of that i have all the reddit unofficial servers favorited as well as exTV, gibbedgaming, drunkenbrawl, teamplayer, and OSF fragfest as recommended in this guide(part 3a)
First result for "disable mouse acceleration mac osx" gives this: http://osxdaily.com/2010/06/02/kill-os-x-mouse-acceleration-from-the-command-line/
While I wouldn't often recommend downloading random files, chmod-ing and running them, this one does indeed work.
I made a "simulation" of your equation here.
Although the graph doesn't work, you can put numbers in for each respective letter and find the DPS.
Edit: wording/formating.
Okay, perhaps you could use a program like https://join.me/ which offers to share screens, have one person control the camera in spectator mode, and have the others on mumble with them and discuss what's going on.
Alternatively, go onto google documents, create a drawing (an option on the sidebar) and share it to your team's gmail accounts. Then you should all be able to draw on a screencap of the game, for example. Not sure if this is what you're looking for though.
I did some more research. First, on the wiki there is nothing in the update history about such a change either the demo or the soldier's page.
Second, on this website http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/938210-the-orange-box/faqs/60227 dating back to 2010 the guy talks about it:
>Similarly to teammates, friendly rockets and grenades can pass through teammates. If it somehow hits one of them, their a Spy.If it hits something in midair, chances are there's a Spy invisible.Invisible Spies, when hit will momentarily flash out their team colours(red for RED Spies and blue for BLU Spies).
From all that I think we can safely say that it's been in the game since launch
Sorry i forgot, here are the result if you want you can make a post Link: Survey. If you want you can add me on steam. ID: nccn12

Brief context: Well, just looking for input on what we can improve on. We were using a medic and scout sub. Also looking for tips on how I can improve on demo and what I should do/not do.
Convert it to a video file? There are numerous ways to do it but watching it inside the game is the easiest way. You can use OBS to record the game, though this can be demanding on the pc so you won't really be able to do much else whilst recording. You can also use lawena to record though this is generally for frag movies as it records frame by frame and takes forever to render.
the simplest way i found when doing these is to use OBS (https://obsproject.com/)
fairly easy to set up too. though many use it to stream, you can also use it to just record locally. after getting all the settings down, just hit your record hotkey and you're good to go. it allows you to record your POV and any other audio sources, usually your mumble/teamspeak comms.
again, this is the simple way. if you plan on doing some more in depth editing, you're best off recording game footage and audio separately. sure you know, but i'll mention anyway, mumble, and i'm pretty sure teamspeak has one as well, has a recording function you'll need to manually start. gotta sync it up too after all that. but it's not too bad, you can do a countdown as a sync point while doing something, use a scout pistol to shoot as you count.

This probably won't work for Mac, sorry. Check this out: http://superuser.com/questions/548119/how-do-i-configure-custom-url-handlers-on-os-x
Also, make sure links use the following URL format:
mumble://user:pass@server:port/channel
works for me. TF2C seems to be down at the moment but I was going to have a look at what their mumble links looked like.
I hate typing out all of the reasons every time the question is asked so I'll just post a section from a guide written by a friend.
http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/437678-team-fortress-2/faqs/62689#section18
Read up on the rest of the guide if you want. It's very cohesive and informative, although a tad outdated. He's mentioned that he's been trying to find time to update and refine it.
You don't want a bypass to that. You think you do, but the hacker/annoybot problem would be even greater. You must go through matchmaking for official valve servers.
You might be able to find a community server and that would not need a VPN or the like good hunting:
Multiple monitors, same issue, fullscreen didn't solve it. I use Dual Monitor Tool to toggle my mouse locked into my main monitor with a hotkey. It may also fix the input getting halved but there could be other causes of that problem.
I actually play on OSX sometimes, and use Smoothmouse, which gives options to turn off mouse acceleration. In my experience, it works pretty well, although at times it seems like there's a tiny amount of negative acceleration.
Just a note on your attached image, when I had the "enhance pointer precision" option checked mouse acceleration was turned on in game. I was skeptical at first but after running a program called Mouse Movement Recorder it confirmed my suspicion. I have raw input on, in game sens of 2, dpi or 1000 and windows multiplier of 1 and that damn check box screwed up my aim for awhile. I am a fan of consistency and mouse acceleration was a very unwelcome surprise.
Does this work with the xrender
backend as well? I've been unable to get it to work due to this issue with Intel drivers (I'm using i915). Perhaps it would be wise to use absolute paths rather than relative, just for good measure.
There's a typo here:
> \3. Run mumble.
I'm not completely sure, but it sounds like Total Uninstall should be able to take care of the possible negative effects.
edit: Forgot this is paid software, lol. It analyzes your system before installing a new program and creates a restore point. I'm not sure if there are free alternatives out there, link 'em if you know any better options.
use symlinks, http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-symlinks-in-windows-vista/ and direct the replay directory to a disk.
dont forget demos can use pills, reduces his counterspamming but are easy to self damage from and 1 shot keeps medic building at 2x much longer than the 1 second he will from detonator self damage.
i love denying crit heals, its what i do half the time with shotgun :). im just wondering if scorches relative fire and forgetness and larger range(to be tested) is worth the loss of 21 extra burst damage.
Shaay is pretty good, but bo4r outsniped him in the RGL Highlander semifinals that recently got uploaded (Irene vs AD)
Here are the logs (spoilers for the match BTW)
Hi I'm Jazz. I'm from Kritzkast Distinguished Ducks (EU Team). We're currently Div2 ETF2L and Plat UGC and Div1 Wireplay.
That is a match that we had not too long ago against Colony. Converge they rolled us but the Upward demo is good. Both STV that have to be played in game :D
Hope this helps :D
Also, a cool, free application called TextWrangler is a text-editor that is slightly more powerful than TextEdit and is pretty useful when dealing with text files like program configs and HTML files.
Sorry, getting held up so ill just give you the gametracker sites for them.
https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/64.34.198.14:27415/ (DM_store, tends to be empty but when it gets 6+ more people; expect some skill to back it up.)
https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/199.116.118.35:27065/ (sniper orange, only 8 people allowed; f2ps/low-skilled people tend to roam around but you get some pretty decent people on there.)
I'm also talking with one of my mods for my 6's team seeing if we could bring back a custom-made variant of sniper_orange (made by aerosol cheese) called tf2_turd and was hoping you heard of the map? had an extremely high level of skill due to the amount of teams that had 'adopted' the server.
EDIT: the original server was called The Blue Turd.
Figure out the approximate geographical location of where the server you are connecting to is, and where you are. Plot a line on a map from your location to there, and pick the VPN servers closest to that line. Those are the servers you should test out.
If you want to spend the least money, stick with a single VPN provider. In my case, I use ExpressVPN, but I can't vouch for which one is the best. I'd say your best bet is picking whichever service has the best reviews in terms of server performance and reliability.
The one you linked includes an XLR-style-connector-to-3.5mm cable, actually.
Also, when you want to link to an amazon product page, all you really need is the ASIN and a little bit of prologue path ... i.e. your link can be reduced to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XBQ8UGG/
Edits:
I started a team just before the Archimedes Cup, and played S20 with'em. Ended up with severe TF2 burnout and eventually stood down from team leadership, leaving someone else in charge.
Avoid doing everything by yourself. Have people in charge of things: timekeeping, match arrangements, recruitment etc. Doing everything by yourself eventually leads to having more time-consuming duties than enjoyment of the game, at least in my case it did. Take care so it doesn't happen to you.
Internal team politics is also a PITA to do, especially roster management, bringing people in and out of the main roster and giving people feedback. I recommend http://www.amazon.com/How-Win-Friends-Influence-People/dp/0671027034/, it reads a bit as a self-help book, but is actually full of really interesting and effective stuff.
