People need to send this story to drudgereport and other news organizations.
16k retweets now. This isn't some lone degenerate, this is twisted and pervasive.
St John's College, a Catholic university, owes it to the public to explain what they are doing about this incident. Are they not teaching its students American values or Christian decency?
Let's see the media which attacked Trump as being part of a "war on women" for calling Rosie a slob actually address this. 16k and many more saw this tweet. Is the highly politically correct university system going to let one of their female students get called a "bitch" and threatened publicly? I doubt he'd be so bold if it were a young, strong man with a Trump sticker.
Where is Hillary or Madame "Young women will burn in hell if they don't support Hillary" Albright on this culture of intimidation? Why don't the BLM leaders "admonish" this piece of trash?
We can't let this culture of intimidation affect young Trump supporters. All American students have a right to free speech. This piece of trash wants to intimidate a young woman.
Is SJU an American university? Does it actually believe in American values?
Are they older folks who use the internet and can get their news that way?
If so, give them these links...they're the ones I use with older, non net-savy folks who need to see non-MSM news:
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/
That last one, FreeRepublic, is sort of a news aggregator, with a lot of old/older folks ...conservative ...they post articles they've found from all over the place. It's moderated a bit, so shit doesn't get in, and there are comments sections added for each article. Lots of encouraging articles, and comments.
We've got to keep our older folks energized !! :-)
REMINDER !!
SEND GOOD FINDS (not all of them, just the best, with links to email, and EMAILID#) to these places (and any others you can think of!!)
BE SURE to send them all, esp. Gowdy, links to daily megathread, AND the end of day compilation!!
https://gowdy.house.gov/contact

Sorry I can't be working with you today, centipedes. I've got to put in time at my "real" job so I can pay rent and keep the internet turned on !
MAGA !!!
>Why don't you post the link the actual article so we can judge for ourselves.
Drudge links to this page which is not really Drudge. It's probably the reason why the OP didn't link directly to the article. He could have liked to Drudge frontpage though. Btw, it was extremely hard to google Drudge. Be grateful I did it for you.
Santorum's name should be Sanctimonium. He is the very definition of self-righteousness, and so blindly sure of himself that he's incapable of seeing that by revealing his positions on such matters, he's self-destructing.
Not for a moment would I suggest that you not go through with your new-found mission, rk33l4n, but I have to say that even if Santorum manages to gain the GOP nomination, there's no possibility that he'll be elected president.
Here's why: The Republican party, in its years-long march to the right, has totally alienated moderate conservatives, who've been leaving the party in droves, leaving only the most hard-core right-wingers (like the teabaggers). This is why this year's GOP nomination process, unlike any before, has looked like a head-on collision between circus clown cars, and is the reason Santorum has been winning. GOP bigwigs are terrified that if he gets the nomination, not only will he lose the election, he'll lose them the House and their filibuster ability in the senate, by energizing otherwise apathetic liberal voters.
He's basically re-enacting his PA political suicide. When he was your senator, he started writing a newspaper column and expressing his idiotic fringe opinions, which brought him a re-election loss by 18 points.
This time around, he's not waiting to get elected before self-destructing. How's this for political suicide?
>"We look at the shape of mainline Protestantism in this country and it is in shambles, it is gone from the world of Christianity as I see it."
After November at the latest, we will never hear from him again.
Here's a flashback to Drudge's early exits in 2012.
>EXIT POLLS TIGHT
>R: NC, FL
>O: NH, PA, MI, NV
>TOSS UP: OH, VA, CO, IA
Link for the typing impared (lazy). Need to get this thread upvoted to the top and get everyone to vote. He hasn't finished below second so far this year on drudge and this is no time to start.
Edit: Looks like Drudge took down their poll and didn't post a final tally (again). Anyone get a screenshot sometime after 6:30 CST?
Where is this story on that page? where?
Where is it?
The US has gotten to the point where, incredibly, Republicans can be more socially progressive than Democrats simply because the outrage machine won't spin up for Republicans.
If this were a democrat, before the decision was even halfway made talk radio would be discussing the fastest impeachment options, fox would be haranguing their token liberal commentators while the others piled on, and a shitstorm of letters and phone calls would swarm the person in question.
When it's a republican, it gets swept under the carpet, at least until / unless the more rapid teahadist grassroots blow the story up so big it can't be ignored.
>How does the #3 candidate (#2 if you discard Trump) get so ignored by the mass media!? The bias/prejudice airtime selection of the mass media is what has skewed the polling numbers.
How does the #3 candiate (according to some random poll spammed by PaulBots) get so ignored by the mass media!? Also, if you discard all the other candidates, he is actually #1!
Fucking liberal media.
http://drudgereport.com/ is where I get my news. There's a bunch of great links about it right now.
"MAG: Immigration Reform Will Go Down With Cantor..."
Such good news and such.
I can't wait until November!
~~Probably has to due with the whole moderator as the fact checker bull shit so the dems can pull a Candy Crowley and make trump look bad with a false fact check.~~
NOPE: No commercial breaks! I.E., if she goes into a coughing fit, they do not have the power to cut to commercial or cut audio. http://drudgereport.com/flashny.htm
"Weekly Standard" is not a legitimate news source.
To know why, see what is now the following top headline:
"Rockets Fired from Egypt Hit Israel"
at none other than
Praise G-d, let it be true!!!!! Now we have to worry about each district being over 50%!!!!
Hey wasn't there something about a "ceiling" -- that Trump could never get over 35%??
I've noticed this also. The DrudgeReport.com has been extremely fair to Donald Trump. I gladly join you in giving mention and thanks to Matt Drudge. I enjoy the site very much and would also recommend it to anyone here who hasn't checked it out yet.

Here is a current headline on a very popular news site:
"Pentagon boils over with frustration at Obama White House..."
It is just a link to another article. Below it is another headline / link:
"Airman accused of minor harassment faces more prison time than deserter Berghdahl!"
The two headlines are linked to the same article on another site. No further information regarding the content of the article is given on the news aggregator site.
How might receiving news in such a presentation affect people who indiscriminately consume this media?
For conservative
The White House changed the text of the transcript on the site...
That's more of a story than anything. Obviously something I can't control.
If you had looked earlier in the day it clearly said "(laughter)"

I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic, because it absolutely is the top story on many web sites:
Huffington Post:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
Drudge:
CNN:
Etc. Etc.
Too bad he's crushing every poll I've seen.
http://drudgereport.com/ is a conservative leaning news aggregater, vastly the most popular. I believe I saw they've hit a billion page views. also, dozens of columnists are listed/linked for you to follow as you wish
this news aggregator website is vastly the most successful on the Internet. they sell ads on their home page. this article explains why they are worth hundreds of millions of dollars via exceeding a BILLION page views per month

I liked how Reince supported Trump at the RNC. My only worry is his stance on illegal immigration, and immigration from countries that breed terror. These are major issues. http://mobile.nytimes.com/2016/11/14/us/politics/reince-priebus-chief-of-staff-donald-trump.html?referer=http://drudgereport.com/
They failed. You can't stump the Trump.

> TRUMP WINS DRUDGE SUPER POLL WITH 36.05%... SANDERS TAKES PLACE AT 29.69%... CRUZ IN SHOW AT 19.23%... OVER 1 MILLION VOTES CAST
I like pictures too but yours are too large ...take up too much space. People want to scan a list, maybe by category then decide what they want to click/read
This website draws nearly one billion page views per month
Here's one that arranges by category
This is FORBES magazine which is financial/investor to show how they arrange
Totally agree. If the Republicans really want to just simply make sure that Obama is a one term president, then they would be crazy to elect Santorum. Santorum is disstant from mainstream thought its not even funny. This has been up on the front of drudgereport for the entire day. Personally, I think this is a phase and his popularity will pass. But seriously, this guy, when he went up for re-election in Pennsylvania for his sentate seat, lost by a whopping 19 points which is the biggest losing margain ever. So you have to wonder, why anyone with a decent understanding of the english language would actually give this guy a vote for anything. His tone and look just oze a nasty feeling that makes you think we're all going to be following Santorism and bowing at his feet.
I can't stand all of this dynamic Web 2.0 shit... and news sites are some of the worst offenders.
They took the humble news site- a page of static text with some ads around the edges- and turned each page into a 10MB monstrosity that dynamically loads the article text as you scroll, so that their analytics scripts can plot how long your eyeballs linger on every word and advertisement.
Old news sites may have looked like garbage, but they were fast. It's why I'm still a fan of RSS feeds.
> Is that seriously their website?
Yeah. As of right now - it's still there.
> I made better looking websites in my high school web development elective.
CSS has a well known liberal bias.
Well we like to use drudge report because they don't write the articles. They verify what they feel is a worthwhile read and meets journalistic standards, and they put a headline up and thats a link to the actual article. IMO it's the only REAL way to get unbiased news because you get news from like a million different places (some well-known and some less widespread)
for news, I go to this news aggregater, which is number one with a billion page views a month
notice below the links (3 columns) there are names of prominent people who write important articles. clicking any of those takes you to their most recent works (many are daily)
> then summarize the story without any fluff, opinion, or bias
way easier, and way more productive for the reader would be to do it (aggregate) like The Drudge Report does it. Drudge is extremely popular // politics so if you can do that with tech, you'll become rich
This is all the news some people take in. Whatever is on that page, that's the world they live in. Nothing else is to be trusted. I don't even know how to begin talking to people who live in that world.
The 'log into wifi' icon is good, if you have it.
I generally go to any non https URL like http://cnn.com or http://drudgereport.com and you will get redirected to the wifi login.
Https is what breaks it.
one thing, a single column of content to quickly view, imo, is not enough
e.g. I'd want to scan 3 columns, quickly, hoping to find a clickable link. this website is plain, 3 columns, but mega popular
Thanks for the input. The site is modeled after one of the most successful news portals on the web, the Drudge Report: http://drudgereport.com which gets over a billion visits per month (yes, billion) so we are figuring they are doing something people like.
Great work !!
I sent this info to an investigative journalist I know. He said what you're doing is IMPORTANT!
Are you coordinating/working with O'Keefe? If not, maybe PM him here, or contact him via his tip line that he posted in his thread.
http://projectveritas.com/tips/
Also, what about Breitbart and Drudge?
You weren't expecting something bigger? It's basically just that she doesn't get extra time if she goes into a coughing fit. And the stool thing to make her seem taller, but I thought that had been decided a while ago.
The poll is now closed. Results are here:
http://drudgereport.com/nosp.htm
Surprisingly, Jeb! actually managed to beat Hillary, 0.9% to 0.88%.
Trump beat Sanders comfortably, 36.05% to 29.69%. Cruz came in below Sanders with 19.23%.
Drudge Report has a lot more polling audience. Right now It's Trump at 44%, Cruz 26%, Paul 12%, Rubio 8%, and no one else matters because they won't make it to the ballot no matter what.
For my daily sites I try to limit to just:
https://news.ycombinator.com - Hacker news, latest tech news related to startups and interesting tech.
And embarrassingly...for news I like to see both ends of the political spectrum:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com - Leftish
http://drudgereport.com - Rightish
get to know the Drudge Report and The Blaze for online conservative news aggregation
as for books, become a Constitution scholar, and read the Federalist Papers
in the past I have subscribed to the Weekly Standard...it's just OK
you'll find a LARGE list of links at the bottom of the Drudge Report that take you to dozens of conservative authors
Weird because it's front and center on Drudge right now. Looks like this is a series of books for the author. Is is possible the paperback edition that just came out has been extended with additional information?
Serious replies only because now I'm confused. Don't make me delete this entire post!
> if you have any recommendation
this is the Internet's most successful news aggregater with 2 million visits per day. do more of that
how about a BILLION page views A MONTH from the aggregation leader, here's the story
I get my news from aggregate sites like Reddit, Fark, and occasionally Drudge Report.
Admittedly, not comprehensive enough, but ever since Google Reader shut down (RIP), I haven't stayed on top of things as well as I should have.
I know most of you probably dislike drudge, but perhaps you can go to the site and request he put this up as a headline? The submission form is on the lower right hand side of the screen.
I think that would really get out to a lot of people in the south if he did that :)
