En vez de una webcam barata de dudosa calidad te recomendaría que uses la cámara trasera del teléfono que tengas, que seguro es de mejor calidad. Hay apps como Iriun que te permiten usar las cámaras del teléfono como webcams.
I found a much better solution just an hour ago, called 'IRIUN', which (in my case) works natively on Linux.
I plugged it into OBS as a new video capture source ("Dummy cam"), and now I can hang my iPhone(s) or iPad on my rack, on mounts around the office or carry it with me as long as it's in range of my WiFi.
Originally, NDI was recommended, or EpocCam, but neither works with Linux, so I kept searching until I found IRIUN. Worked in less than 1 minute out of the box.
It's definitely a game changer. I also use my phone as a webcam with https://iriun.com/ and it makes for a good zoom experience. I'd get a Logitech brio, but not at the prices they're at now.
Ok, I'll give it a try. Also after I posted this, I did some more research and I found this, https://iriun.com/ though it only has a Ubuntu version and I am running Manjaro. If you know anything about Manjaro, I searched for IRIUN in Pamac but did not find anything. Could it be possible that there is only a Ubuntu version of the app available for Linux?
Antes de comprar algo, probá Iriun, instalas la app en la PC y en el teléfono, y lo podes usar de webcam fija ya sea conectado por USB o en la misma red wifi. La cámara trasera de cualquier teléfono supera por bastante a las webcams baratas.
FYI, the camera's on the tablets are likely better than the Logitech camera.
Using this https://iriun.com/ you can use those camera's. Also supports multiple phones being used for input simultaneously (up to 4 I think). The "pro" versions is $5,- (one time purchase) in the Play store.
Easy best E5,- I ever gave away ;)
(as the pro version comes with a few buttons to control flash, digital zoom and horizontal flip in the computer interface instead of on the device)
Capture card is good. Here are some more options I think are good:
Use a C920 webcam for a facecam - cheap these days; YT videos to enhance quality.
SMARTPHONE as a webcam. Cheaper than a lot of mirrorleas DSLRs; many software options available like IRUIN, iVCam, and for iPhone - EPOCAM; everyone has a cellphone these days; some support 4k30
I've tested the software above and I can say the quality is comparable to a mirrorless DSLR. I have a Note20 ultra and it looks amazing. The autofocus feature on you phone is much better than a camera. Try it out. The software is free but there are upgrade options to get rid of watermarks.
IF you have an old phone you can download this software and use it as a wired/wireless webcam(Wireless only if you have an AC750 or 1200+ router)

Been using my oneplus 6 and video quality is amazing. invest that money in a mini ring light with a tripod(good enough approx 899) and you're all set.
First, try telling the droidcam devs about your problems.
To get around your problems, there seem to be two ways. The first is to use an alternative: https://iriun.com/
The second way is to adopt a DIY approach, but that'll take effort and knowledge; a search should yield more info (eg. searching "phone as webcam Linux").
I really hope that someone makes a convenient wiki article about this sometime soon.
Use this instead it is better than ivcam. I have not had very much luck with ivcam trying to get it to be detected as a webcam in some programs. Iriun works a lot better and it works for apple deviced and android devices. The program also works for mac too and ubuntu.
There is a possibility to use the Ipad as your webcam with the free app called Irium. https://iriun.com/ It is easy to use.
For a computer, you should go for one with at least a quad core. You can build a pc with cheap parts and still stream without a problem. Go for a CPU with an integrated gpu like a AMD Ryzen 5 3400G. There are complete builds with this processor for about 400$ on the pcpartpicker site. This processor is strong enough to do your streaming thing. You can also upgrade the processor and add in a new GPU if you feel that you want to increase your performance.
But if I were you, I would wait for a couple more weeks before deciding to buy something. At the end of october, AMD(Processor+GPU Producer) is announcing their new GPUs and CPUs, which will normally reduce the price of the current lineup.
If you have any other question just ask good luck in your endeavor.
