Mailinator.com - throw away emails that you don't have to set up ahead of time, just use <yourtexthere>@mailinator.com and it'll work. They are publically accessible but oh well.
So... a State finally embraces bitcoin? Isn't this what butters always wanted?
The entire article is well worth a read, by the way, even if you have to register (it doesn't require e-mail validation so just use mailinator or such)
I prefer mailinator. Places that get revenue from data mining, and people who have been misled into thinking it will stop trolls, frequently try to block temporary emails. But mailinator is constantly creating new mirrors to use which circumvents this.
You could also create a throwaway at mail.com specifically for shit like this.
You could also try bugmenot; but again, since they can just have themselves de-listed from BMN it's basically useless these days.
The thing to do in this case is to try to just block the element; it looks like it's just a CSS overlay that can be made to simply disappear so that you can continue using the page.
I just use mailinator. I generated an email name with a password generator, and I use that email for all my spammy things. I can still check it, and it's unlikely anybody will stumble on it.
Also, you can use a random, temporary e-mail address for free.
https://www.guerrillamail.com/
Edit: This is helpful because a lot of sites consider e-mail addresses with a '+' in it to be invalid. The period trick always works though.
I used a Mailinator account and they didn't flinch. Did not have to validate my vote, they just sent the link to the results page to it. The "informed" part is the one that is troublesome. The talking heads treat these things as legitimate and use them to twist public opinion. I like the idea of throwing a monkey wrench into their machine.
mailinator to your rescue !!!
Já não sei quem tinha feito o upload do tema para o megashare... ver se encontro o link...
edit: Here
btw, se não quiserem dar o próprio e-mail usem um do mailinator funciona perfeitamente.
LOL at the image disguised as the video on this one.
I can kind of sympathize with the annoying email sign up every time, but the video thing is like popup add porn site scum tactics.
Unrelated check out this spam reducing email website I use sometimes...
You must be doing something wrong, because I just registered a dummy account using a throwaway email address in under 30 seconds.
Fill out registration details here.
Login to the email you used to register with.
Click the activation link found within that email.
That's literally all you need to do to have an activated account, ready to ask questions through support tickets.
> and having to create a new email for a one-off response that would likely not be understood by the original poster seemed like too much effort in the end
Mailinator was made just to alleviate this situation.
If you want free and completely, totally, not-secretive check out Hope I did this right and you can use LITERALLY anything you want for an email address.
Example: (go put it in on the website and check it out.
Ninja Edit: Didn't do it right
NIO is better at handling large number of concurrent connections; but in this specific test, there is only a single connection. NIO is not faster than BIO in low concurrency cases.
Paul Tyma made a claim that BIO is 30% faster than NIO, see <http://www.mailinator.com/tymaPaulMultithreaded.pdf>. That claim has been quoted from time to time, and it contributes a lot to Java community's lukewarm reaction towards NIO.
However, that claim is based on an extreme test case that's meaningless for real applications. Our benchmarking on tomcat BIO vs NIO shows that the difference is actually negligible.
Ouch!
Well, here's a protip; When confronted with sketchy websites, use mailinator.
just type in Then, go to http://www.mailinator.com
Also, seems like an old one. I blundered through them, and it launched a trailer for skyfall. :|
Scumbag webmasters can simply strip out everything after and including the plus sign but before the at sign. It's not like it's difficult to get your real email address using this method.
I used to use Spam Gourmet, but it falls short to a similar issue. You basically use [email protected]
, where anything
is literally any sequence of legal email address characters (such as something that identifies the website you're signing up for), x
is the maximum number of emails you want to receive using that email address, and username
is your Spam Gourmet username. Spam Gourmet will forward up to x
emails received at [email protected]
to your actual email address. The problem with Spam Gourmet is that if a scumbag webmaster wanted to, they could easily generate random characters and be able to continue to reach you at [email protected]
.
If I am ever in a position where I need to give out an email address but I don't want to give out my real email address I simply use [email protected]
and then check the inbox at Mailinator.
You've ignored the complexity of epoll or whatever you're using, and I think you've overestimated the cost of things like idle threads and context switching.
http://www.mailinator.com/tymaPaulMultithreaded.pdf
I've written a threaded web crawler that could crawl a million pages per hour per box. 150 threads is insignificant.
I guess I'll just mail an admin then. Also, for accounts I intend to be temporary, I use mailinator. Very practical :)
Edit: I can't reach any support pages - would one of you mind giving me the email-address of an admin? Also, SC4D now automatically redirects me to Disney after a minute or so. Diabolical!
I just want to point out that any group of letters and/or numbers you put before @mailinator.com instantly becomes a valid e-mail address.
If you've never checked out Mailinator, they serve a wonderful purpose.
Whenever I need a definition, onelook.com searches multiple online dictionaries for me, categorizes the dictionary type (general, medicine, law, slang, etc) in case I need to know what it means in a specific field/context, and gives a quick definition so I usually don't actually need to sift through the dictionary sites to define the term in its most generic form.
Also, get your sign-up confirmation email links without getting all the spam to your real e-mail with mailinator.com
I think Mailinator is in that case. You just have to know the email address that was used.
update rereading your question I think you mean a different angle. Well, I guess a lot of websites will forbid the use of anonymous remailers, so if they know of it, they may ban it.
So: the best chance you have is to use one that isn't very well known.
mailinator.com You don't even need to sign up/go there ahead of time. Just use anything you like and put @mailinator.com after it when you give it out. If they send an email to that address, it will be waiting for you when you go to mailinator.com and give that address. The flipside is that there is no password on the account, so don't use if you care about others potentially seeing your email. Instead, the security is in the address itself, so use something like .
there is also http://www.mailinator.com which does the same thing, but the e-mail address never goes away. no setup, just type in whatever e-mail you used on the site and it will check the box. In case the site blocks mailinator e-mail addresses, they also offer other domains that forward directly to mailinator like binkmail.com and others.
edit ---- because I can links
Yahoo and gmail don't have to have a phone.
However, if you just want one for promotions, I use Mailinator. You can link it to your email client, be it mobile or desktop, and just use it for crap. It needs no sign up, no anything. Just go to the site, and select the email you want to check out.
Hi! We didn't think a demo was necessary, as other similar services don't offer one (Shopify, Tictail, etc.). What would to expect to see in the demo? The administrator area? A finished website?
Btw, we only ask the absolute minimum (email and password), and you're free to use any fake email you want as long as you can validate you're the "owner" (to not spam other people). You can use Mailinator for example.
Though I can't promise that any given group will be as accepting as they ought to be, all of the female geek spaces I've been involved in have been very accepting of transgender women (and also non-female allies). If you feel unsure or shy, try emailing the contact for whatever organization you're interested in and ask them. If you feel at all uncomfortable for any reason, such as maybe you're not ready to come out to them, consider using a disposable email service such as Mailinator.
Welcome to the sisterhood, good luck to you, and I hope you get the support you need and deserve. We're here for you, in any event.
Mailinator is better IMHO, as it doesn't require any sign-up. Same for MyTrashMail. You just pick an address, at random, and it will always work. Then you go check it when you want.
Here is an email website to look at. You make up an email on the fly or @ random, then when their server sees an email come in it makes an account of that name. These are temp too! great for spammers..
.
Also, i think there is a group of chinese guys that have a website with an API that you can forward the captcha image to and they will return a string of the captcha..
it costs money though..
Hmmm, I didn't send it to anyone else, but it's possible that it thinks it's used because I e-mailed myself. Anyway, here's a second one:
1HHQFD-W7T6P-VN9G-H6T-WBNB3KL
If that doesn't work, I'll send the third one to an e-mail address (if you need a throwaway for that purpose, http://www.mailinator.com/ works).
Dude, use mailinator for a spam account, the emails you're sent are public if someone knows the email you used, but unless you give spammy sites your real name it doesn't matter.
It's an awesome email site that creates an inbox for an email address whenever it receives email for that address. It also allows you to enter the name of an email address and see all the email for that address. Email is stored for about 3-4 hours. What this means is when some sketchy site asks you for an email address that you know they're going to dump with spam give them <made up username>@mailinator.com, enter you recently made email in mailinator, and deal with whatever email confirmation they give you. I'm currently using it to spam unlimited free 14-day trials of wolframalpha pro.
TL;DR: Let them eat spam
Here's how I do it:
BugMeNot, provides user-contributed throwaway accounts for all those annoying sites that require you to register for basic functionality.
Mailinator, instant throwaway email adresses (Useful for creating throwaway accounts to contribute to bugmenot)
And if you live in a backward ass country that uses week numbering like mine, but like me can't ever remember what week it is.. Vecka.nu
