If a Lemmings style game sounds appealing to you, where each player controls one "Lemming", then you may wanna check out Transformice. You play as a mouse, your task is to race to the cheese and get back to the hole as fast as possible. Most rounds have at least 1 Shaman that either helps by building to the cheese or kills everyone cuz why not? You can also heavily customize your mouse using both in game currency or premium currency if you want stuff a little faster.
You can play it in browser, download the standalone, or play on Steam :3
Basically a game the object is get the cheese with the help of your team and your teams shaman. Great fun. Have been playing it with members of the subreddit all day.
Oh and the currency is cheese not dollars
If you want to join us when you get in simply type /room thebestpony into chat.
There's also multiplayer lemmings in the form of cute mice.
edit: additional lulz, the video that got a lot of people started years ago. Shows a bit of gameplay.
Transformice! It's a 2D platformer where you play as a mouse trying to collect cheese. You can spend the cheese on various accessories. There is like a max of 40 mice playing in the same room/game and there is one shaman that help the mice collect the cheese.
Great for socializing, goofing around, and killing time.
I'm not positive if I'll be here on Sunday, but I'll try! I really like playing Transformice every once in a while, then not playing it for a while :)
Let's plan to use the 'reddit' room:
To do this, log in or click to play as a guest, then type
>/room reddit
into the chat box. If we need another room, we can always use something like /room playdate or /room reddit2.
Here's a few general pointers-
As a normal mouse, your goal is to touch the cheese, then go to the mouse hole. Use arrow keys or WASD controls to move and jump. The easiest trick to learn to get better at being a normal mouse is that you can jump mid-air. So, to extend your jumps, let yourself fall a bit, then jump as you begin to fall.
As you get better at being a normal mouse, you can also learn to wall jump. This lets you complete some stages without a shaman, but stages usually do not require that you wall jump. Basically, if you turn left and right in the air, you can jump off of walls as you approach them to slowly jump up walls. Try it out :)
As a shaman mouse, your goal is to help mice get to the cheese, then the mouse hole. When you are a shaman, objects appear in the bottom left you can place (boxes, planks of wood, anvils, etc.) within a range of yourself.
When placing an object, you can anchor the object by pressing B, C or V. B places an anchor on the object to the background. C anchors one object to another so it cannot rotate. V makes a rotating hinge.
You can also press space to make something a "ghost" object - it will interact with other objects, but mice can pass through them freely.
The tutorial here goes pretty in depth but those are probably the most important basics. If you watch other players you can get a feel for how to use the mechanics to solve some puzzles.
The game is called Transformice, it's an online platformer where one magical mouse (shaman) guides the mice the cheese and back to their mouse hole by spawning physic props. Really fun and now on Steam. P.s. I used a third party website to make these guys.
N by Metanet, while I've seen a few that tried it out once or twice, I played it for about two years, making and submitting maps for it, being a part of its very small community. It's an indie game, and free!
Transformice, while filled with trolls and I advise never paying attention to chat, the game itself is quite ingenious and fun to play.
Try contacting the admins here. They will need some proof though, so they'll ask you a few questions. Be patient, since it may take a few weeks to receive a reply.

Honestly this patch is really hard to play around, certain heros are really good right now, but then again certain heros are ALWAYS gonna be really strong. It was faceless then tinker now its troll/storm. It's just how dota works. If you tilt because you get roflstomped or turbo dunked then just chill for like 20 minutes. usually when you loose in a group of players, everyone is going to be inherintly be salty at one another. I have played dota with the same group for around two years, the amount of times my friends and I fight because we felt insta queing after a big loss was good is now to high to count. Taking a break and doing something else as a group is so much easier on you as friends and on you mentally. I recommend http://www.transformice.com/ to play while you decompress.
It's mostly for kids, but fuck if it ain't fun, Transformice, highly recommend.
It's a free multiplayer platformer game, where the goal is to get your mouse to the hole, and most levels in the normal game a "Shaman" is appointed, who helps the mice get to the thing.
Course, sometimes two shamans are appointed, often if they're experienced in the game they'll try to kill eachother, but that's the good thing, the winner will be the more experienced shaman usually and lead the mice well.
Here's an ancient fan-made trailer showing the game in its early days, which nevertheless perfectly captures what it's all about.
I really love Transformice. Although I don't like the super grindy events. A bit sad that I failed to keep up with it for 100% event completion. And also with real life being very busy, I practically quit it now. But I'd still enjoy it when I get the free time and have nothing else to do.
Transformice - absolutely tons of active players, great platformer game, where one player, the shaman, is chosen to more or less create a good portion of most levels. It's over 2000 players for sure- but they are spread across servers, generally no more than 35 players per room however, and tons of different game modes (rooms), vanilla, survivor, normal, racing, bootcamp, and dozens of minigame rooms.
And pictionary games, there seem to be dozens, but the ones I've played and enjoy include doodle, Isketch and guessasketch- I don't know if all of these reach over 2000 players, but I remember isketch and inklink did and were similar..
All games listed are free to play, (transformice has a shop that you can purchase thing either for collected in game currency or real, but they're all decorative)
I want a game like transformice where its a puzzle that mostly relies on the person with the gamepad to solve, but from the wiimote users perspective is more of a platformer, so they have to work together to get to the end of the level successfully.
Checked the first 20 comments and didn't see a post for this game. Its a game developed by the company Atelier 801. They make great in browser games, but my favorite one that I have been playing for years is called Transformice!
You play as a mouse who has to get the cheese on a custom (user made or Atelier made) map with the help of a boss mouse (the Shaman!). But, the best part is you can spend your cheese you've earned to buy clothes and fur colors for your mouse!!
Transformice, a flash platformer game where players are mice and have to get the cheese and then get to the exit, one player is chosen as a shaman who can place objects to help. It's partly co-op though it is also somewhat competitive.
We're playing the mouse game and by that I mean there is only Isaac and I. If you'd like to join, the site is here http://www.transformice.com/ and you can find us by typing "/room reddit" in the game chat area. (:
this made me think... i believe the single game that most represents our government is transformice -- you got the government/leaders in the form of the shamans, the level is representative of life/society, and the rest of the mice are your average citizens --- some leaders are good, some try but suck, some just hate you and want to watch you fall for their own personal gain (this is the majority)
I prefer the desktop client (Standalone). Web browser can freeze up if you're using it for other things while playing.
Mac Desktop client: http://www.transformice.com/Transformice.dmg
PC client: http://www.transformice.com/Transformice.exe
Both need Adobe Air: http://get.adobe.com/air/
It's a silly little game where you and several other players race to get the cheese. Players with the most points get to be Shaman, who has the power to conjure blocks and things to help the other mice along. When you're done being shaman, your points reset and it's someone else's turn.
Even though it's a pretty casual and light-hearted game, there are some very serious challenges (room bootcamp and room shaman) that require skill and deep knowledge of the game's mechanics in a SSMB: Melee sort of way. Plus, achievements. And hats.
/room [title] to join / create a room. So a /room ffxiv is possible if that's what you're into.
EDIT: Shenanigans! It worked. Thanks Korbah for joining in the mayhem. See y'all next maintenance.. right?
Transformice. Multiplayer mouse game. Get the cheese, get to the mouse hole. One person is designated "shaman" and is supposed to help you get both cheese and hole but that often doesn't happen. /r/transformice
Realm of the Mad God. 2D MMO bullet hell with pixel graphics. Fun but they've had bad security problems so make sure you use a unique login. /r/rotmg
The most frustrating and addictive co-operative browser game ever.
And try Space Station 13 if the thought of working on Deep Space 9 during absurd situations appeals to you.
I'm looking at maybe an online poker and card game site we could bank off of.
Ive experimented with online pictionary games, but those didn't work out to well. Also, I found a browser game called Transformice where you control a mouse character and solve puzzles as a group, but I'm having trouble making a private lobby.
Also, slightly slow and involved, but maybe we could set it up a pictionary type game using back and forth comment thread. OR! We should totally set up a 'Game Night TinyChat' which is an RAoA tinychat. WE can post a calendar of what games will be played. using cameras and chat box. (Pictionary, charades, D&D light, physical boardgames as long as peoples dont mind someone rolling for them) That would be crazy fun! Gonna message the mods and see!
