I like the way Camera MX works with my Moto G5S+. It gave slightly better picture quality results than Open Camera and the native Moto camera app.
I just found Camera MX and it seems to have some of the best features for me. Being able to rewind a few seconds to have a better shots will be really really great to take great pics of my son.
It also allows GIF creation.. I guess I should have tried a few apps instead of just searching on the web for the best solution.
I like the G5 for its changable battery! But Lineage doesn't ship own support for the dual camera.
(No LG Stock Camera App available - a bit referring to here - the links there are dead unfortunately)
The App CameraMX (clickme) is great!

It is the only app I found that supports the standard as well as the panorama lens!
I'm running Lineage 14.1 on my LG G5 (H850) and the app seems to bring own drivers.
There are some filters to pay for (non-pushy) and the response time could probably better, but all in all it is a good, tidy app with many functions and its discovery was a real revelation to me.

This isn't available from the stock camera.
The stock camera only offers Motion Photos which records a video without the sound. There's currently no setting to change this.
Luckily, you don't mind using a 3rd party camera app, because that's your only solution.
I haven't looked through other camera apps, but I know Camera MX has this feature.
I found the indoor Camera MX pics to have slightly less noise under the same circumstances than the native Moto G5S+ camera app. And it was easier to use.
I downloaded CameraMX from the store, and it appears to work fine. Not sure yet, whether this is the best option available, though. It's merely the first one I tried.

Camera MX has a leveling and a grid feature.
There is the camera app CameraMX (clickme) which actually can do that :)

With this setup, you can produce rock steady images with high quality sound - then color grade and edit in Resolve.

You can do it on just about any android phone and they have more filter options compared to what the V30 offers.
There are other apps with similar features, Camera MX for instance. They don't have the enhancement stuff though.

Totally agree. Google camera should be able to support live photos now. It's long due.
However there are few apps that allow you to seamlessly capture motion stills a.k.a. Live Photos and some of them even allow you to control them such as:

Camera MX let's you capture Live Photos in a fashion very much similar to that in iphone.
Movense and Phogy are on the controllable Live photo part.
Movense adds a community to it where you can share your Live Photos (Moves) with friends, Phogy on the other hand is a camera app giving you motion snap functionality.
Google Camera bug. Just try using any other free camera app from Play Store, eg. Camera MX.

I like Camera MX app for it's options. Eats up your battery though.
Cinema FV-5 is decent if your phone API is open enough to give it access to stuff. Else your stock camera is the best bet.
Unfortunately the famous app Filmic Pro is not fully supported on all phones, check compatibility with your phone using their Evaluator app.

Camera MX is a camera app you could use. It has this volume shutter option, so you can use your seflie stick. Hope I could help you.

Disagree with your disagreement. Wife has it on iPhone. We have a kid. It was cute for a few pics and she turned it off. It's a gimmick that just makes enormous pics.
You can capture 30 pictures in 5 seconds with most Androids, including OP. To answer your question there is no native way.

I have the OnePlus 3T as well and I thought the camera was really bad but this camera app is better try it you will get better pictures.
