Well there are main Final Fantasy entries are on the Play Store, like FF IX
But in general I'd say that you are the minority. Most mobile users want a game that can be played in 5 minute spurts of time. Games like KSP or some of the others you mentioned definitely require the user to get deeply invested in the game, not play it on the bus.
One thing that is nice nowadays is that the hardware is good enough that developers can port old games over more easily, but it still takes money and if they don't see the value in putting a $15, 100-hour experience on the play store they won't.
Oh I see, the game is 3.xGB and requires 8GB of space.

Yeah and it's a magnificent port, I play on my Z5, I would recommend checking your device compatibility because it's a pretty high demand game as far as mobile games go, but OMG ITS SO AWESOME!!!!!!
Unfortunately the iOS version was pulled because it was unplayable but it's available on Android, Switch, Steam (and others I'm sure) and as playable as ever. If you have the platform and a few bucks, you'll know after like 20 minutes if you love it or not haha

It was the last of the mainline Final Fantasy games on the PlayStation. It looks like it's available in the Google Play Store for $21 (USD).
I remember really liking it on the PlayStation. It felt like a throwback to Final Fantasy 6, which I also enjoyed a lot (but I suspect has not held up as well as FF9 has).

I'll probably pick up Final Fantasy IX. Never played a 3d final fantasy before.
