I use App Backup Restore for this. Once you backup the apk save it to a cloud storage location like dropbox, or use the usb cable to save it to your pc. Then copy the apk to your new device and install it.
This doesn't solve app piracy.
apk's that require google play services to authenticate against for in-app-payment unlocks will fail as sideloaded apks.
All this does is kill people being able to reuse the apk they downloaded if the app gets deleted from the play store.
I for example have an archive of every app i've ever downloaded, as there's many apps to save a copy of the apk when you install one. (eg Backup and Restore)
I've got about 30 apps that were removed from the playstore, that I can still install thanks to having the apk from when I downloaded the app.
If you are rooted it can be done by using TitaniumBackup.
If you're not there are some backup apps like "App Backup & Restore" but I don't know if they can do what you're asking.
I would give "SMS Backup and Restore" another shot. I just used it to restore 20,148 messages. Yes, it took a while but it did the trick. And I have been using this app for years always without a hitch.
If that doesn't work try this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en
Also you can try backing everything up, deleting your messages, then restoring only the last two years OR backing up the last two years, deleting all your messages, and restoring everything.
1)backup the old card wars apk. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en 2)backup your data, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup&hl=en 3)update card wars, get cards,(remember to play a game so the game saves the cards) 4) backup data, 5)uninstall new card wars, 6) reinstall old card wars, recover backup data, done
You can probably copy it using an app such as App Backup & Restore and then transfer it to your Redmi. However I don't guarantee it will work, there might be other limitations such as hardware/software so maybe that's the reason all the ones you've tried have failed so far.
Well I would prefer to keep the app data, but I hear that is not possible without root access.
Also which one?

If you download soundboards from the play store, you can use an app extractor app like this one to easily get an apk of the soundboard app. You can then uninstall the soundboard.
Open the apk file as a zip file (just add .zip onto the file name as the extension). All of the sounds will be inside it in a folder usually named assets or raw. Copy these ogg or mp3 files to your device into the folder /sdcard/Notifications
Now when you are presented with the list of sound names when you change a notification sound, these files will be in the list. I've done this with 10-15 soundboard apps and now have over 1000 sounds to choose from, all without using anything third-party. That's more sounds than you'll ever get tired of
I use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en_GB can save some or all of the apps on your phone, including system apps if you want. Save data or dont, text mesages..etc.. and saves all the latest versions you have on your phone. I'm sure there are others that do this, but this I have experience with and works great.
Try reading it again
Helium is the app which can backup app+data
For others you can backup apk only and for that purpose there is an app named "app backup and restore
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup
Besides outdated app security, you have the source issue. APK mirror would be safe, I don't trust any other site.
You have it on another device? Just use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup to back up the app and move it to the other device and you would have no source issue
1)backup the old card wars apk. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.infolife.appbackup&hl=en 2)backup your data, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup&hl=en 3)
There are backup apps like this one, even though they do what you want, they take too long in my opinion.
You can always do the factory reset at night and leave it restoring. You might have almost all of it by morning.
I don't know if it is the RAM manager problem, but I've found a bit of a hassle downloading Spotify playlists on this fone because it closes Spotify every few minutes and stops downloading.
If you're using a custom launcher then you can backup your settings for it. This will ensure your layout for your homescreen is the same and whatever other preferences you may have set like icon packs. As for apps, if you only want the apps and don't care about the app data then you can use this. It creates an apk of the app which you can restore later on.
For the Play Store Apps, if you have the apps installed on the Nook you can use App Backup and Restore to retrieve the APK files, copy them over to your daughter's Fire and install them. However, if they require Google Play services, as more and more apps do, you're probably out of luck.
Modified APK? Only thing I've found is where the game data is stored, which requires root permissions.
On device root directory in android:
/data/data/ffrk.dena.west (exact might be a bit different but it's close.)
In there is cache, and inside of cache is db_cache. That is the directory with the game and ui data as near as I can tell. I'm kinda poking around blind so I don't know if there's other directories that are important, but that seems to be where most of the game's data goes.
Edit: Or are you asking how to get the game apk backed up to try installing on chrome? I use App Backup & Restore from the play store.

You might be able to back them up with this app and then reinstall them after installing CM.
Linkme: App Backup Restore - Transfer
This allows you to create a "backup" (apk) onto your phone. You'll have to use any free phone file explorer to navigate your phone.
As for uploading it, you could place it into DropBox and then send the URL via PM'ing it.
